Beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and hospitable staff. It was nice staying there for a week and I would gladly do it all over again.

Only few minutes walk from the Öreg-tó (Old Lake) where you can visit the Esterhazy Castle, Tatai Vár, the English Garden

Lovely staff, great food, nice wellness area to relax after hiking or sightseeing and with great location

What you'd expect from a good hotel. Rooms OK and air conditionned, breakfast typical for european hotels. Nice open courtyard to chill out in in the evening. Easy walking distance to lake and local restaurants

The breakfast was good, I especially liked the scrambled eggs as they were done from real eggs and cooked in the traditional way and not the artificial and tasteless stuff you get in so many hotels these days

In the wellness pool a schoolclass was getting their training. That actually had something charming - even if you would not expect that of hotel wellness. All in all, the place has its own spirit and is worth a visit

Very tasty food and lovely service. Rooms clean and well maintained. Very nice swimming pool on the premises.

Nice building and good service my room was unfortunately a little old and small

I give it 5 stars because of the main waiters smile, he has the best smile in the world. There is a strange hummmm of a machine giant but the fairy from reception put us to another room

Good hotel for a small town. It is a pity that the Breakfast is very monotonous. Besides outdoor pool and was not prepared at the time of our stay. The staff is quite friendly, though quite busy...

I think one of the best things in this place for me was its size. Despite it being a relatively small hotel, the quality is up there, and this way, the staff has more time and patience which really is palpable

The staff was super friendly, helpful, flexible, everything you can ask for. The entire building was clean, and the food was excellent. It's not very close to the centre, but I'm unsure if that's a pro or con

This includes the bathrooms, which could use some updates and better cleaning. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, so I slept very well. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food

Fine hotel, room was clean, safe available. The staff was friendly, wellness was fine with an indoor pool and 2 saunas open. Free parking is available, card accepted. City center (the lake) is 25 mins walk away.

The rooms are pretty and have all you need (water kettle for tea would be nice). My problem with the rooms is that the window points towards the street and the window is nit really sound proof

Cozy, small hotel, within a walking distance to the Tata lake. Possibility of borrowing bicycles for touring around the lake. The Spa is very small, just convince for 4, 5 people but enough for refreshing yourself

Was also too late to enjoy their most attractive spar, jaccuzi and sauna. Well appointed bedroom with balcony, though had to close down the efficient heating before it was sleep-comfortable

it is an impressive diamond !! I was too late and tired to look for food and left before breakfast so cannot comment, but the local wine was excellent

We spent a long weekend here in pairs. The apartment was very clean and homely. We did not take advantage of the wellness facilities, although there was a swimming pool and a sauna

It is far from the centre without car, but perfect services included: bicycle rental, 150 cm deep swimming pool, a kitchen, quite convinient size of the apartman, you can find the owner for help all day long if anything needed

The owner is extremely kind, polite, helpful. The accommodation is nice, clean, cultured, quiet. It was a real recharge here to relax.

I think it says it all that we visited the place for the second time, and it wasn't the last :)

Maybe, some more wardrobes and cupboards missing, and the bed was a bit old and loud

Beautiful Hotel, fabulous helpful staff, clean room, with soft beds and bedding, and all over looking a beautiful lake, which we walked around, stunning walk about 7k. Had breakfast which was extra, but lovely.

Nice rooms, location right at the lakeside, so you can enjoy your breakfast with a gorgeous view. Personnel was welcoming and friendly. 100% recommended if you want to stay at Tata.

Lovely place beside the Tatai Lake. The hotel is of the highway, yet is stones throw from the lake. There is a path that goes around the lake, very good for a morning jog

A small castle nearby offers some interesting sites for taking photos. I stayed here for several days as there was a National holiday in Hungary and also the weekend

Nice place to stay, big room, big terrace with a great view, good breakfast. Walking distance to a nice restaurant. Highly recommend!

Connected to the beach, we had small but comfy rooms, perfect for two person if you anyway plan to be in the pools whole day. The beach is nice with kids, has two different slide too

We camped in Thermal camping for one night and enjoy the swimming pools. No tables or benches, bathrooms ok, weak wifi, a kitchen with stove and fridge is available

If you are late look for a free camping spot and go in the morning to the thermal camping so you can enjoy all through the Day and you are not angry about the price

There is wifi in the rooms, but the bandwidth is limited, if you Internet addict, you better off with a prepaid card or some Internet roaming package

Price wise reasonable, try the small train city tour. Interesting fact, the city belongs to both Hungary and Slovakia, divided by the river

Beautiful receptionist made our day and the room was great with a Hungarian buffet restaurant just 200 m up the road

The staff, particularly Marta were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, friendly and did their very best to make sure we were comfortable

Breakfast a bit poor. The furniture in the rooms is a bit old.Polite staff.

And we fell in love with Hungarian cuisine, the food was so tasty that some days we have decided to repeat lunch (and pass out because of food coma)

Overall, a great place, rooms are great, space is fine, the activities at the hotel will suit most, catering is excellent, staff is very friendly.

In the absence of light, you have to stumble through the dark room to turn of the floor lamp. the bed mattress is very uncomfortable, the air conditioning program does not take into account independently

... I haven't even been there .... but I can still go. I'm ahead of 5 stars!

As soon as you it as guest, you experience something different, a few "little" things: After dark, the guest can only step out of the elevator into the dim light filtering in from the hallway

Fantastic Stay in Esztergom We are coming back again. The hotel boasts a fantastic location, offering stunning panoramic views of the Danube River and the Esztergom Basilica. 2 kids and my wife enjoyed it

We did not use the wellness facilities. Ideal place to visit the city

We liked the high quality saunas and excellent cold plunge, but avoided the pools since they were mobbed by kids! Ditto for breakfast. This place caters to families, so go early if you want to avoid the noise!

There is a playroom for kids, and it is attached to an aquatic facility with pools, slides, a lazy river and a hot tub. My only disappointment was the hours for the gym

It is convenient to get over to the spa over the covered bridge. Wellness area had some construction ongoing, no cold water from the shower in the sauna or cold pool. Water fountain would be nice at the saunas

The room isn't very large, but it feels cozy. It includes a spacious comfortable bad, brand-new furniture, and up-to-date plumbing. The room is excellently soundproofed. The hotel itself is contemporary and spotless

Great hotel, close to the Slovakian border and Danube river. The spa was easily accessible and included in the price of the room. The staff was professional and friendly. Room was clean and had a great view.

Location for Esztergom is unreal. Less than 4 minutes to the Basilica and Castle. Doesn't seem to have AC, but rooms feel well ventilated - so maybe only to consider on very hot days if you have specific needs

People gathered in the courtyard to talk and drink in the evening so a bit noisy for trying to go to sleep. Breakfast was good but very busy. Staff on duty really helpful as was the receptionist on arrival

You will have an easy breakfast in the morning at the hotel, so you need to walk a lot to able to get food. No slippers in the room and amenity is poor, so took away a star

Cheap and amazingly located in the middle of many tourist location, I enjoyed my staying there, I must say that their matrass are perfect! You will sleep like a baby ;)

The hotel itself is not a huge facility but you can hear the birds singing in the morning, which I think is romantic

It is centrally located, close to the bus stop. The rooms are well equipped and have air conditioning. The housewives are kind and helpful. There are plenty of nice places. The Danube promenade is beautiful

We spent our honeymoon in Esztergom. Beautiful city, excellent, clean, well-equipped guesthouse. We look forward to returning one day.

Small property with lovely courtyard and helpful host. Very central and clean. Access to a basic kitcehen and a kettle in the bedroom

The food is very good and the breakfast (included in the price) is fantastic (one of the most variate and good quality breakfast ever) I really recommend for small & big groups, especially if you want a quiet and fully equipped place not so far from Budapest

Friendly staff and very nice pool

One of the best value for money accommodation I stayed in the last years. Not so far from Budapest (45 min. This is the only downside, but the services and the staff overcome this "little" inconvenient

The spa and wellness area was just amazing! The relaxing atmosphere and excellent facilities completely impressed us. We were able to relax wonderfully and thoroughly enjoyed our time there

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying at the Abacus Hotel during which time we were celebrating a friend's wedding. The hotel staff were fantastic and we were delighted with our room

We stayed only one night, for a sleepover during road trip. Place is a bit tricky to find but is awesome. Antique, nicely renovated Vila on its own hunting ground. Very good food, very good breakfast

The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price

Hotel has its own spa and pool. One pool is also on the open air. Very good restaurant-both for breakfrst and dinners. Large rooms mainly with balcony. Wonderfull view on Dunabe river. Shop with suvenirs.

The hotel is very good. Beautiful place. It's exactly located in the bank of the river. To slovakia, it's 15 minutes of drive. Foods are nice. For vegetarians, the options are less. Greetings are fine. View is nice

The bed is really comfortable. The pillows are very fluffy. The bathroom is clean and big. The hotel itself is very beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. The food is delicious.

The only negative experience was that the wifi did not work (did not provide internet), and the TV channel scale was not too wide
