The hotel is located in the perfect location for anyone looking to explore Villány and enjoy the wine. The rooms, restaurant and spa are first rate, with staff that went above and beyond to make our stay with them all the better. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

I had the immense pleasure of visiting Crocus Gere Wine Hotel this autumn. As a solo traveller, I was a bit worried that I would be out of place, but that was quickly put to rest. My partner and I took a road trip through Hungary. And we took the opportunity to do a wine tasting in Villány visiting the A. Gere winery and staying at the Crocus hotel. We had a superb trip to Hungary and in this hotel. The hotel is very clean, nice rooms and the service was amazing. We enjoyed the friendly staff, the outstanding food and wines. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely come back. Thanks for hosting us

Calm wine and spa hotel with delicious wine, good dining, and calming massage services in a beautiful region of vineyards. Try their wine bath in spa 🛁🍷 Try their tasting dinner experience. The wines are delicious, our favorites were pinot noir and villany franc. Some recommendations are their hungarian omlette for breakfast, lavender lemonade and fried cheese and meat platter for lunch and wiener...

Slightly expensive and some meals are small, but awesome experience and excellent service!

Professional service food and staff. We stay guest house close to hotel but it was clean comfortable and spacefull. And off course very good red wine.

The Bock Hotel and the Bock Winery is a fantastic attraction, especially for tourists who do not know that Hungary produces great wines! Its a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant. The Winery is truly amazing and the visit is really interesting.

My better half and I had a wonderful meal here. Food was excellent and, of course, one has to enjoy at least a couple of wines from the winery. Friendly staff and good service. Warning: bring mosquito repellent if you wish to enjoy your meal on the terrace (or do what we did and sit inside).

This is a very friendly hotel, perfect for a long weekend. We stayed in their guest house down the road, because they ran out of hotel rooms by the time I made the booking. But it was equally perfect and we had the whole house for just the family. Naturally, the main attraction in the hotel is the wine. You can book a wine tasting in the restaurant (highly recommended) and you can visit the cellars...

Absolute fantastic of the aura within the hotel, my favourite is the garden. Really relaxing to stay near to the pool with a glass of tasty wine.

Rooms are simple but clean. Bath equipment (eg towel rail) is slightly scratched. On the terrace is the Mo topography of the paving stones, several times we almost went through it. But: the staff is very kind, polite, helpful, breakfast delicious, plentiful. So the overall impression is absolutely positive.

Clean spacious room, couch 90cm wide - I finally fit it. Homemakers looked down and, to the maximum extent - with a pure heart, fulfilled all my wishes and needs.

Super accommodation in Villány. It was an experience even in winter. Breakfast was very delicious and our hosts were very nice. We'll be here next time! 🙂

We came here to round off our visit to their winery in Villanykövesd to have a light dinner and taste their white wine - great decision as both dinner (a mix of local delicatessen) and wine (their Muskateller) were fabulous. On top of that, everybody there helped our youngest to recover her toy gecko, which she had thrown into the trees some 4 metres above the ground...AAA for hospitality, dishes,...

There are nice wines to taste in the willage. The area is beautiful. I have visited Villany for a family get together, did not walk around too much.

On the good side, I must say that the dishes were all absolutely delicious. The mushroom and goose liver soup, the foie gras and brioche, the duck breast and chicken breast were all prepared with local and seasonal ingredients (and winter is a challenging season for cooking) and beautifully presented. Good location, center of village. Menu not long but good food. Service good, staff polite. You can understand staff in hungarian, german and english. Vines? Good…. Not crowded durong week. For weekend you need reservation.

Went for dinner, service was very professional, the restaurant looks very nice. Beef soup was a bit tasteless (felt like the ingredients were just put in the bowl piece by piece, without consistency), pork knuckle was excellent.

We booked the room for one night. The room was nice though the bed was a little bit uncomfortable. We went at dinner at their restaurant. The staff can't talk english very well. They brough us Suop instead of Stew because the waiter didn't understand what we wanted. They do understand German. The portions are big, tasting good. The wine we had was not really good. I tried some cabernet franc and merlot...

Large rooms, rural experience, good service, good wine. You will enjoy it if you like heavy read wine a matching good quality hotel.

Good place to stay at Villány, but breakfast is not the best. Be aware that at Saturdays they often have wedding parties, but they call you to ask if it is a problem.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the wine region. Stylish rooms, very comfortable beds, expensive textiles. We were pleased with antique furniture and history of building. The rooms have everything you need. Very beautiful area with a large swimming pool. We enjoyed lying by the pool and admiring the gorgeous rose garden. It is possible to grill in the spacious summer kitchen. The hosts are very hospitable...

A very cosy and nice place only 15 minutes walk from Villany train station. Our place had everything we could possibly wish for: a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a pot and a coffee machine, a toaster. The king size bed was really comfortable to sleep on and the bath robes added the feeling of home. Amazing experience in the wine kingdom, highly recommend it!

The house is located not far from the train station. To take public transportation from Budapest you have to go to Pécs and change to the train station Villány. The trains are comfortable and run on time. The house itself is the oldest in the city with a rich history. The owners can tell many interesting stories :) Especially liked the hospitality of the owners and their attention to detail. Literally...

Cosy rooms in a 100 years house. Quiet location but very close to the heart of Villány, to the wine cellars, restaurants. The rooms, kitchen are well equipped and comfortable, you can also rest in the huge nice garden. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. I consider it the best and most comfortable accommodation in Villány for small and large companies. The owner is flexible and hospitable. The accommodation is nice, clean, well equipped with a large yard.

Very nice spacious house with a big yard. Clean and well-equipped house. There is also a foosball table and barbecue facilities. The owner is extremely kind and helpful.

Well located, well located and located (about 10-15 minutes walk from the center). Ideal for larger groups (8+) and families. A great garden, the rooms in the upstairs rooms, and the assistant (with whom I have been there once in a row) help you. You can park several cars at the same time in the yard. Everything is in the kitchen with a dishwasher extractor (4 stars). If Villàny, I'll be here again

Very nice environment, the house has an excellent layout. The children really liked the swings and the slide. The host's hospitality and helpfulness are outstanding. We might come back.
