I had the immense pleasure of visiting Crocus Gere Wine Hotel this autumn. As a solo traveller, I was a bit worried that I would be out of place, but that was quickly put to rest

Later we were able to savor the delicious dishes offered by the hotel restaurant with Tóth's good pairing advice. He, very attentive, offered us to end the dinner with a shot of Palinka

The staff greeted me very kindly, the treatments I had at the SPA (and I had plenty!) were super relaxing and professionally conducted. The room was nice, and had a comfy bed

My partner and I took a road trip through Hungary. And we took the opportunity to do a wine tasting in Villány visiting the A. Gere winery and staying at the Crocus hotel

Right on arrival, they very kindly offered us a tasting with a visit to the winery. The tasting led by sommelier Tóth was extraordinary, as was the visit to the cellar

Despite only spending one night at the hotel, we were able to enjoy a relaxing time at the full spa. And the next day we enjoyed a very good breakfast

Their chocolate cake is amazing, a must try. There's also wellness and you can book a massage, which is professional and relaxing. The staff were always smiling and helpful in all of our requests

The Bock Hotel and the Bock Winery is a fantastic attraction, especially for tourists who do not know that Hungary produces great wines! Its a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant

You can book a wine tasting in the restaurant (highly recommended) and you can visit the cellars as well. The restaurant's menu contains delicious dishes, I had the pleasure to try a few of them

My better half and I had a wonderful meal here. Food was excellent and, of course, one has to enjoy at least a couple of wines from the winery. Friendly staff and good service

This is a very friendly hotel, perfect for a long weekend. We stayed in their guest house down the road, because they ran out of hotel rooms by the time I made the booking

Professional service food and staff. We stay guest house close to hotel but it was clean comfortable and spacefull. And off course very good red wine.

Very friendly staff who ensures you feel yourself at home. The visit to the cellar with Zoli bácsi is a must. We had dinner after the cellar tour food is tasty, few options but all in good quality

I really enjoyed the location it is a bit far from the busy/vibrant area of Villány but complatly approachable by walk also it is more cosy at the Pension's terrace

Zoli bácsi was helpful to choose the wine for the meal. Room is spacious, breakfast is nice

Of course wines are nice and it is really worth to try them

Bath equipment (eg towel rail) is slightly scratched. On the terrace is the Mo topography of the paving stones, several times we almost went through it

Absolute fantastic of the aura within the hotel, my favourite is the garden. Really relaxing to stay near to the pool with a glass of tasty wine.

Éva was our kind and helpful host. The guesthouse is well maintained and clean. Covered terrace, sauna and jacuzzi in the yard. We will stay here again next time.

We came here to round off our visit to their winery in Villanykövesd to have a light dinner and taste their white wine - great decision as both dinner (a mix of local delicatessen) and wine (their Muskateller) were fabulous

On top of that, everybody there helped our youngest to recover her toy gecko, which she had thrown into the trees some 4 metres above the ground. AAA for hospitality, dishes, and wine

There are nice wines to taste in the willage. The area is beautiful. I have visited Villany for a family get together, did not walk around too much.

Large rooms, rural experience, good service, good wine. You will enjoy it if you like heavy read wine a matching good quality hotel.

The mushroom and goose liver soup, the foie gras and brioche, the duck breast and chicken breast were all prepared with local and seasonal ingredients (and winter is a challenging season for cooking) and beautifully presented

The place is nice and comfortable (Although the tables are immense so you hardly see the person in front of you!). On the bad side, the service was rude and unhelpful, the wine list is poor and a fork was unclean

I tried some cabernet franc and merlot but the quality was poor. Too bad for a restaurant in a wine region like Villany. Too high prices for such quality. The breakfast at the hotel was great

We booked the room for one night. The room was nice though the bed was a little bit uncomfortable. We went at dinner at their restaurant. The staff can't talk english very well

They brough us Suop instead of Stew because the waiter didn't understand what we wanted. The portions are big, tasting good. The wine we had was not really good

I consider it the best and most comfortable accommodation in Villány for small and large companies. The owner is flexible and hospitable. The accommodation is nice, clean, well equipped with a large yard.

Very nice environment, the house has an excellent layout. The children really liked the swings and the slide. The host's hospitality and helpfulness are outstanding. We might come back.

A great garden, the rooms in the upstairs rooms, and the assistant (with whom I have been there once in a row) help you. You can park several cars at the same time in the yard

Well located, well located and located (about 10-15 minutes walk from the center). Ideal for larger groups (8+) and families

We spent a weekend in this guest house. It would be very difficult to get involved in anything. Rooms and common areas are clean and well equipped. The yard and pool are lavish. I hope we will meet again!

I wonder if the guests would come back another time (we were 19 people in the house) Use of the grill 2,000 HUF, consumption of 2 glasses of wine from the house 4,000 HUF of course without any invoice

A nice and tidy yard, but this does not apply to the stuffy and dusty rooms inside

Nóra is super friendly and helpful! She serves an amazing, copious breakfast and gives information about the places to visit nearby! The area is very quiet and it's easy to walk around from the location

Big enough water surfaces and some of different temperature thermal pools there are. Some of services like saunas (mainly I ranked high the unique real Russian one), steam and so on solve to charging

Lovely place near to everything. Basic IKEA rooms freshly redone. Own balcony and the nights are so dark you need no window blinds. Breakfast isn't much but the perfect choices are on display

A summary of our four-day stay last summer was a bit late, but in more detail: Although the hotel is located next to a quasi-main road, it is still quiet and cozy

The receptionists and waiters are super nice, the food is plentiful, delicious, check-in is quick and easy, the hotel met all our expectations

The twoo cooks are among the best they prepare the dishes better than in any other five-stars restorants! They deserve congratulation an highest recommendation!

6 Euro / day for 1 dog for travelking and the owner wanted to charge us 13. 5 Euro for one dog per day, which was 40 Euro more from a 4-day stay with 2 dogs. But I agreed on the price of TRAVELKING

The accomodation is over the theee-star-level, the staff is friendly sympayhetic and always ready to help

When it was full it was 100% Juice for breakfast, when it was less occupied, Juice was diluted to 10%. It would be good for a website to give a price for a dog

The pool was okay, but really nothing special and the bubble bath and all other water amenities were out of order. Spa complex equipped with two working spa-rooms

Everything was beautiful, ideal hotel for hedonists, food , pool-spa, staff, cant compare with other hotels in this location, only beds was a bit downgrade, there were 2 single beds connected together instead of double bed

The campsite is one of the best and most beautiful I have ever seen in Hungary, it also surrounds the popes. Each plot has a gravel-covered entrance, next to a grassy area, with huge ancient tree shading everywhere

The water block is of western quality, there is cleanliness, the community space is beautiful. It is on the street of the spa, max 10 minutes on foot

Beside place for camping, here you have bungalows and hotel. Rooms are spacious, and very cozy.

The accommodation is very pleasantly furnished, spacious enough for 2 adults and one child. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, although I found its cord a bit short. Unfortunately, it wasn't hot water

Rooms equipped with all comforts. Direct access to the medical center. The suspension is Swedish, but very solid. You have to make an effort, because the dinner lasts until 6-8pm, but it is already taken at 7:30pm

The only negative is that I put it on the doorknob in vain, so that they don't disturb me, or I don't ask for cleaning. The staff disturbs you even when you are sleeping

They even called me on a landline, which bothered me so much that I hung up

There was something called air conditioning, but it barely cooled the 36 degrees outside. The wellness spa has not been working for a long time due to a technical fault, which was not notified

In addition to these, there was also chicken that I don't eat, eggs that I can't eat. The laptop-sized TV sometimes didn't work. The air conditioner didn't work, we moved to another room

Building integrated with a hospital, with a separate entrance. Hungarian hospital-level care and services. Dinner is a slice of dry meat with a fried egg, breakfast is fried egg

The extra bed is a hard armchair bed and the air conditioning is aimed directly at it. The TV in the room is unpleasant. The water in the wellness pool is very cold

A very nice hotel within walking distance from the wonderful medicinal thermal baths in Harkany. The hotel is right at the bus stop from Pecs, which makes it easy to get to from the train coming from Budapest

The hotel was clean and had a park and there is a small sign in front of the hotel where it is worth taking photos. The parking lot is also spacious, but there is a limit to how long parking is free a day

We foregot a couple of clothing items when we left, and the staff not only immediately found them, but will send them to our address in Budapest. This is a good hotel with great food and a value

The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were very delicious. I was very surprised that there is a time for coffee and cookies in the restaurant section in the afternoon

The spa area was very good, if you want to take a dip in the afternoon or evening or in the morning or take a sauna, I can recommend it to those vacationing there

The rooms facing the garden are probably quieter and calmer. It also has its own refrigerator and air conditioning. The breakfast is very colorful, demanding and varied, we didn't miss anything

Due to the late booking, we only got a room facing the street, these were a bit noisy on summer nights with the windows open, but otherwise the rooms are clean, stylish and well equipped

were then given bad directions to the hotel parking lot which sent us the wrong way up a one way street and then not told to refuse the ticket at the barrier which resulted in a large cash payment from us in ex̌act change of small denominations

For instance, we were not told that are room key needed to be inserted with the hotel logo facing out. Instead, we were given a key card without a logo. On ðay two our key was taken àway

Our corner room was bright and spacious and Pèçs was a very pleasant surprise for us. Not much to choose from àn̈d we felt like we were intruding if we stayed past 9:30

Worst of all, the front desk staff, while finding and helpful, failed to share vital information that would have been very helpful

What I didn't like were the two windows: one on top at the slanted ceiling and one a slit at knee-level. For breakfast in the cellar there was a buffet with a good choice of items

Since the reception closes at 7pm one enters with a special key from the back door after that. From the hotel it is an easy walk to the pedestrianised Kiraly street and to the main square Szechenyi Ter

My quite small room had a narrow single bed, but enough storage space and a writing desk with a lamp. It also had a full mini-bar, which I didn't need

If I come to Pécs again defenately book at the Sopianae hotel! The location is excellent, very close to the Árkád Shoping center, and the city center. Parking within the hotel is safe and comfortable

This self-named Boutique Hotel is in a historical building, painted in bright yellow and carrying the name of Pecs in Roman times

Next morning the big surprise, because breakfast was included, we did expect something very simple according to the price of the place, the big slap of happiness, the breakfast was amazing, super delicious and thought on every detail, as we were some of the last people before breakfast time end the person who is in charge of the breakfast came out from the kitchen carrying a tray with hot croissant...
