I had the immense pleasure of visiting Crocus Gere Wine Hotel this autumn. As a solo traveller, I was a bit worried that I would be out of place, but that was quickly put to rest

Later we were able to savor the delicious dishes offered by the hotel restaurant with Tóth's good pairing advice. He, very attentive, offered us to end the dinner with a shot of Palinka

The staff greeted me very kindly, the treatments I had at the SPA (and I had plenty!) were super relaxing and professionally conducted. The room was nice, and had a comfy bed

My partner and I took a road trip through Hungary. And we took the opportunity to do a wine tasting in Villány visiting the A. Gere winery and staying at the Crocus hotel

Right on arrival, they very kindly offered us a tasting with a visit to the winery. The tasting led by sommelier Tóth was extraordinary, as was the visit to the cellar

Despite only spending one night at the hotel, we were able to enjoy a relaxing time at the full spa. And the next day we enjoyed a very good breakfast

Their chocolate cake is amazing, a must try. There's also wellness and you can book a massage, which is professional and relaxing. The staff were always smiling and helpful in all of our requests

The Bock Hotel and the Bock Winery is a fantastic attraction, especially for tourists who do not know that Hungary produces great wines! Its a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant

You can book a wine tasting in the restaurant (highly recommended) and you can visit the cellars as well. The restaurant's menu contains delicious dishes, I had the pleasure to try a few of them

My better half and I had a wonderful meal here. Food was excellent and, of course, one has to enjoy at least a couple of wines from the winery. Friendly staff and good service

This is a very friendly hotel, perfect for a long weekend. We stayed in their guest house down the road, because they ran out of hotel rooms by the time I made the booking

Professional service food and staff. We stay guest house close to hotel but it was clean comfortable and spacefull. And off course very good red wine.

Bath equipment (eg towel rail) is slightly scratched. On the terrace is the Mo topography of the paving stones, several times we almost went through it

But: the staff is very kind, polite, helpful, breakfast delicious, plentiful. So the overall impression is absolutely positive

Nice place, it was quite noisy, but it could be because of certain clientele...We liked it, might return.

Big enough water surfaces and some of different temperature thermal pools there are. Some of services like saunas (mainly I ranked high the unique real Russian one), steam and so on solve to charging

This hotel perfect for resting or use base to explore the near interest places! Good meals, perfect wellnes and polite staff!

Quiet hotel with its own thermal spa, a decent restaurant with good wine selection, cozy cocktail bar, nice staff. Simple design, comfortable rooms, closed parking place, for moderate prices.

Dinner is like in a regular school diner, nothing bad, but easy to forget. Breakfast is plenty and fresh. Room service and bar are extremely expensive for a hotel so remote and simple

If looking for time travel, you will survive this place but if you would like to explore the region, you’d better of in a small and well-run B&B or in a newer hotel

The pool was okay, but really nothing special and the bubble bath and all other water amenities were out of order. Spa complex equipped with two working spa-rooms

The hotel is mediocre, and the 4-star is about 2-star more than it deserves. The building is quite in a bad shape, pieces of the wall came off inside the rooms

Behind the building, there was originally a well-kept garden with a row of plane trees, which unfortunately had to be truncated due to the motorization of recent decades due to the creation of a gravel parking lot

The rooms have air conditioning, no mosquito nets, a small fridge (not a minibar) and a flat-screen TV. It is interesting that out of about 20 TV channels, 19 are in German and one is Hungarian (M2)

The sycamores were cut back like this a few years ago. They couldn't make a real underground garage. By the way, the bus station is a few minutes away, the train service to Pécs ceased 60 years ago

A beautifully and elegantly renovated Bauhaus-style building, which was originally built for this function in the 1930s. In the lobby next to the reception, there is even period-restored furniture

But here, the important thing is the bath, the dear guest is not here during the day, but is soaking in front of you. The accommodation has a buffet breakfast, which is plentiful and delicious

At the same time, there may have been those who gorged themselves at the buffet table to have something to munch on during the day in the bath

Quiet place for rest Pleasent place, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, lots of greenery around

Everything was beautiful, ideal hotel for hedonists, food , pool-spa, staff, cant compare with other hotels in this location, only beds was a bit downgrade, there were 2 single beds connected together instead of double bed

Very friendly staff, great food, nice cocktails. We did enjoy the wellness as well as the nice walk in the hotel park, with the small animal park. Very baby friendly hotel, which is also a big plus.

The campsite is one of the best and most beautiful I have ever seen in Hungary, it also surrounds the popes. Each plot has a gravel-covered entrance, next to a grassy area, with huge ancient tree shading everywhere

The water block is of western quality, there is cleanliness, the community space is beautiful. It is on the street of the spa, max 10 minutes on foot

Beside place for camping, here you have bungalows and hotel. Rooms are spacious, and very cozy.

The accommodation is very pleasantly furnished, spacious enough for 2 adults and one child. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, although I found its cord a bit short. Unfortunately, it wasn't hot water

Clean and cosy. Prices are reasonable. Direct center of harkany, in proximity of harkany's thermal spas resort. Food is tasty.

In the heart of Harkány, close to thermal bath. The apartment was clean and qiet big, but the furniture and the whole environment has a strong retro vibe. The price is very reasonable.

The spa area was very good, if you want to take a dip in the afternoon or evening or in the morning or take a sauna, I can recommend it to those vacationing there

A very nice hotel within walking distance from the wonderful medicinal thermal baths in Harkany. The hotel is right at the bus stop from Pecs, which makes it easy to get to from the train coming from Budapest

The hotel was clean and had a park and there is a small sign in front of the hotel where it is worth taking photos. The parking lot is also spacious, but there is a limit to how long parking is free a day

We foregot a couple of clothing items when we left, and the staff not only immediately found them, but will send them to our address in Budapest. This is a good hotel with great food and a value

The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were very delicious. I was very surprised that there is a time for coffee and cookies in the restaurant section in the afternoon

If you are an international and would like to have a more affordable option than budapest, this is a recommended experience

We spent several days there, clean and tidy room, well-kept bathroom! The owner was kind and attentive! Breakfast was also hearty and delicious! I can only recommend it to everyone!

Clean shower! Welcoming coffee powder and mineral water in the room. The small kitchen in the corner was clean and there was also a kettle

It has a beautiful, large, aesthetic inner garden, one would not even suspect that behind the modest street facade, such a high-quality hotel is hidden, which would definitely deserve four stars

The services and the quality offerred would make this place a four star hotel in my opinion. A beautiful outdoor pool and garden, an excellent sauna world in the underground, nice furniture, good staff

The shower was awkward because of the half glass at the tub

The hotel was clean and comfortable, they suggested to go to the roof with a glass of wine bc the panoramic was wonderful :) So they were very helpful however the receptionist was not familiar with the public transport possibilities

Breakfast included in price and considering the hot summer again in Europe the pool facility is a huge bonus. One of my greatest time to cool down in a pool

We planned to go on March but due to unexpected reason we had to cancel and they were very flexible to move to another date

I really recommend this hotel to families as well

I also tried the sauna section, there is a Finnish and infrared sauna, a relaxation section and a large bucket on top of one of the showers, from which you can pour cold water on yourself after a round of super sauna

Very nice, clean, well decorated place. The breakfast is delicious, the sauna is very cozy, the massage is excellent. The proximity of attractions and restaurants should be highlighted

Easy check-in, friendly staff, very nicely furnished and clean rooms, practically a few minutes' walk from the main attractions. Private sauna use is worth using for sauna lovers

Unfortunately we could not use the sauna because it was reserved for the times that would be good for us, I recommend booking the sauna already in the reservation of room

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. We got a beautiful room on the 2nd floor, which has a practical layout. There is a small kitchen, necessary utensils, microwave, oven, and cooking utensils

The table can comfortably fit 2 people and there is a comfortable work desk in front of the windows where you can use your laptop while the light streams in through the window

Excellent small hotel with friendly staff, hotel is pet friendly also,situated on the hill Mekesh few minutes outside the Pecs town, u need a car or taxi to reach downtown, but here is more quiet atmosphere and clean air, woods, nature and close to city zoo and Tv tower on the top of Mekesh hill

Calm and nice place. Only 12 rooms, so not crowded either. The breakfast was great also. We had problem only with the shower, the water went down very very slowly, so we couldnt take shower more than 2 minutes.

The bed had a huge mattress and it was amazingly comfortable! The furniture in the room was also very nice and with 2 armchairs and a nook to sit on. There was a safe where we could keep our valuables safe

Her bubbly personality adds something extra to this place that you can't find anywhere else. She went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs are met. Cannea wait our next visit in December

Concept from the Hotel is very interesting. There are no room numbers, rooms are named according to sports. Whole stuff very nice(i hope the owner or the manager reward them for engagement)

Highly recommended if you prefer a quiet stay away from the noisy city life. The hotel is only a 10 mins drive from the city centre too, so it's easy to pop out for a romantic dinner too

It is an excellent restaurant from the hotel we stayed at. We ate a couple of times, had both the buffet and the a la carte menu. We liked it a lot. The suggestion of the waiter was tasty!

We spend our Sports Camp here every year and we are completely satisfied and grateful. The food is delicious, the service is fast, the staff is friendly
