A full spa experience. It was very nice. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price. It is a true spa with multiple pools and types of saunas. The room was large with a nice desk and a full kitchen. Small balcony. Very convenient to the sights. Convenient parking. The food was good. A good place to stay for a few days to see all of the Danube Bend.

The room is quite large and equipped with a kitchen, but the facilities are relatively old. The hotel is suitable for local people to come on vacation. There is a swimming pool, a large dining area, and a wide variety of breakfasts.

Food was great. The shower head was mostly clogged up, and there was a drawer in the kitchen that could nkt be opened. It was nice that we were able to rent bycilcles, however they could have used with some basic maintenance.

We were there for a family gathering on Sunday afternoon, for a great little brunch. There was a very wide selection and very good quality food on the buffet counter. There was also a separate pasta counter where a beautiful chef prepared the right pasta dishes for us from the selected ingredients.

After last year's fire, Silvanus has reopened - although renovations are still ongoing. The final completion of the project is expected by the end of May: all rooms and the renovated outdoor pool will be in use. We were in the Spa years ago, but we were already very curious. We were not disappointed!

This hotel supposedly is a 4 star superior hotel, but I would give it hardly 3 stars. We arrived on a Monday and stayed till Friday. Tuesday late afternoon I informed reception that our room was not cleaned. They sent someone who emptied the 2 bins in the room and - because I asked her - made up the beds. We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. The hotel itself is very good. However, elevators, only 2 if you wanna go to the underground garage. Upon check in and check out, we had to wait 20-30mins to be able to get up and downstairs. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. Excellent value floating hotel situated almost opposite the parliament building. Nice rooms, great views and friendly staff. A little away from the centre but very close to the nearest underground station. A good base for visiting the city. Breakfast prices convert to approximately £10 pp which I thought was reasonable value for a buffet and a gentle start to the day.

Room 505 didn't have any heating on our last night. There was no bar or restaurant service in the 3 days we were there. Room was OK bathroom bath very high when trying to get inand out the shower. Location was fine but room with balcony absolutely no view. Would I stay here again probably not.

Very nice hotel! Service is super helpful! Very tasty breakfast - many varieties of food. Rooms are modern and very cozy. However they could care more about keep rooms and restaurant super clean. Otherwise all on a very high level.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. This time the room was poorly cleaned. Hair everywhere. Otherwise a nice hotel, convenient location, great breakfast, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.

I have stayed in this hotel many times. The room type, facilities, hygiene and other related hard conditions are good. You can refer to the previous comments, but the overall service is rigid. Due to the change of itinerary, I applied to check out one day in advance, but it was rejected. As a consumer who has stayed in their hotel many times in a year, I will not stay there again.

Clean environment, close to the city center

Pretty hotel, not too far to walk to the next station. Rooms could have been cleaner (water stains on the wall, stains on the toilet etc.) Breakfast was good, they had local food like gulyás and sausages, which was great! The Crowne Plaza Budapest is in a great location, with the Westend shopping mall downstairs. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are reasonably designed, spacious and bright, the breakfast is very rich, and you can also use the sauna and fitness for free. The connection to the Westend mall was very nice. It also leads to the Metro1 line. So it’s not near the attractions but it’s easy to get to places.
