Great decision to come here! Comfortable rooms, kind staff, relaxing wellness and other services. Will definitely come back!
Our visit to Sylvanus Hotel was a blend of positives and negatives. Firstly, the location offers a stunning view of the valley, enhancing the overall experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even going the extra mile to send back forgotten items promptly.
However, the room size left much to be desired, and the spa facilities fell short of expectations. Despite the inviting...
We really enjoyed our time and surely coming back!
The place is kid-friendly and that’s a great part.
The staff is amazing!!
Hotel Silvanus is one of the most relaxing experiences you can have. The hotel's strengths can be summed up by its exceptional setting between the hills and the Danube. Various activities are within walking distance, such as the castle or the bobsleigh (both for families and for romantics). The panoramic restaurant's offer is breathtaking, and both breakfast and dinner are excellent. I was able to...
This is such a beautiful hotel. Everything was kept clean and well maintained.
I definitely want to come back just so I can sit in the pool and watch the sunset over the river bend.
Well run hotel with great views of the Danube
A very nice hotel set on a hillside overlooking pool, forests and the river Danube. The room (suite) was exceptionally large and well appointed with full bathroom and separate toilet, walk in dressing room, bedroom, lounge and large furnished balcony. A nice touch was a fruit basket on the day of arrival. Breakfast (included) was a buffet affair with a...

A hotel with excellent location. The staff is very polite. The wellness section was too crowded. It was difficult to get into the tiny Finnish sauna. The wellness section was very loud, too, and not only because of the people, but also because disco music was played by the hotel there. The food is slightly below average Hungarian wellness hotel. A bit old-style.
Great spot for a weekend. My wife I had the privilege to leave the kids behind for two nights.
Room great and nice view with a balcony.
Even with families at the hotel we were able to enjoy and relax. Good facilities and good pools inside and out.
Food was good but you would not rush back for a half-board.
All in all we really liked the experience and would recommend for a short stay.
Hotel Visegrad was a beautiful experience for me and my family (2 adults and 2 children 10 and 8).
The hotel is located 45 min. from Budapest, on the banks of the Danube in a beautiful area. The services offered by the hotel were very pleasant (boat ride on the Danube, medieval show with soldiers and medieval weapons, several heated pools both outside and inside and the hospitality of the staff...
Very comfortable. The only issue is that buffet has no vegan options, but they are on the menu
Very helpful staff
Our family enjoyed our overnight stay. Smooth check in, food were good and service was great. Our kids (3yo and 1yo) love the wading pool ( on the ground floor you will instantly see it when you go to the lift of building B rooms and the kid's pool area (-1 floor if you stay in building B or when you're on the wading pool area just go up pass the panoramic jacuzzi pool then down; it'sa hidden gem)...
I don't think there is a word to describe it.
Everything was really overwhelming and spectacular!
The party at night, the renaissance restaurant, the food and the service, hats off to the staff!

Not enough table in restaurant, auto reservations not working at all. Handle the situation well. Meal is great.
Food was great. The shower head was mostly clogged up, and there was a drawer in the kitchen that could nkt be opened. It was nice that we were able to rent bycilcles, however they could have used with some basic maintenance.
Good Spa, breakfast is spot on and you will have your lovely dinner enjoying live music. Thumbs up!
Hotel was nice and clean. Good communication by emails in English. Nice spa open till 11 pm. Prices for massage too high comparing to prices in Budapest. Nice breakfast and dinner buffet. You get bottle of wine as welcome gift. There is a cattle in room, but no tea. Few bags of tea would be nice addition. I was also missing fill set of toiletries. Good location.
Nice hotel to come and relax for a weekend. Offers spa, sauna and massage service. Breakfast and dinner is also included in the price. Rooms are clean and spacious, in a business-like type of deco
Reading several aricles and reviews, I was really curious about this hotel and it's wellness part. I really liked this place, staff was very nice, food was delicious and plenty, rooms were big enough, with nice terrace, facing to the Danube. Several TV channel, good (free) Internet.

Everything is very nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are beautiful and clean. The spa is spacious and well-designed. Food is delicious! However, there is one aspect that is quite uncomfortable: most guests in the saunas do not respect sauna rules. Almost everyone wears bathing suits, and some even wear flip-flops inside the sauna. There are large sweat stains on the wood because people...
Excellent Hotel close to many trails, close to Budapest and several historical sites. Has pools, wellness, and spa, and serves solid food in a beautiful location. Well worth a visit.
The overall experience in your hotel was good. The rooms are nice. The spa area aswell. I received 2 absolute nogo during my stay. Both are related to the restaurant. 1. the dinner is open until 10pm but some colleagues started to cover/close the buffet area already at 8:30 pm while people were still eating. It was loud and disturbing. 2. out waiter smelled like cigarette smoke. Imagine eating your...
Really weak value for money, definitely not a 4-star accommodation. They change towels only every third day, so you have to visit the spa three times with the same towel (quite unhygienic). We stayed for 6 nights, during which the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The room wasn’t hovered, the bathroom floor wasn’t swept neither washed.
There were no slippers in the room - what is pretty much the standard...
Very nice and clean place! The only very big PROBLEM is the slippery floor inside , whether you wear slippers or not ! Many people got injured because of this, including my friend and my daughter! I understand that you can't change the whole floor tiles , but there are some non-slip mat for this, and many other solutions! What if a child or someone falls and hits his head? They could sue the...

The hotel is very good. Beautiful place. It's exactly located in the bank of the river. To slovakia, it's 15 minutes of drive. Foods are nice. For vegetarians, the options are less. Greetings are fine. View is nice
Hotel very average. The smell of fryer everywhere. The room I received was microscopic, while a colleague received a normal room for the same money. The cuisine was tasty and a big plus for the pool, however, not adequate for the price.
Really nice building and rooms, SPA, delicious Hungarian cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff, lift. Rooms require little bit renovation, poor wifi quality. Modernize it a bit and it will certainly deserve more than ***
Its great hotel, nice rooms , great location but somehow we had a unfortunate experience.
We had a stay for 2 nights and it so happened that on the 2nd morning there was absolutely no water in the resort so much so that it was difficult for all the essential daily routines.
But i guess it was one of the bad days in the resort, but apart from that the place oa worth visit.
It has to be a perfect place a few years ago. Now it's a bit bugous and rusty. However no big issue. The rooms are very spacious with huge and comfortable beds. The food and coffee was below the expectations of a 4 star hotel, but no major issues. Good location, the spa was also okay.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful location. But, in my opinion, the prices do not match the services provided.

amazing location in the middle of the forest. Good variety of food for breakfast and dinner, including always some special touch (e. hummus or egg cream for breakfast)
Bowling, pool, table tennis games available.
Free bob for kids was available.
Very big playroom for kids.
Nice staff, clean rooms.
The hotel offered all the basic amenities you'd expect, with a fairly small wellness section, with all the basics such as pool, sauna, aroma/salt room, etc. Also on offer is a bowling alley, and a few bars.
Rooms were comfortable, with a balcony, a nice view, and clean bathrooms, but little in the way of sound proofing.
The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful, perfect for hiking. Wifi access...
I was able to spend 3 fantastic days here with my family. It was the best holiday of my life so far, although we have been to many places before. A little negativity in the aroma room can enhance the smell...
Price / quality ratio is not that good. The location is very good especially if you like to hike. The rooms are ok, not great. Wellness is basic, but has everything you'd expect: Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam. We paid for half board, food was tasty and plenty. The restaurant was not well air-conditioned and there were lots of flies. WiFi coverage around the hotel and in the rooms is patchy at best. Drinks...
Amazing place, hidden gem in the forest with great prices! Book well in advance as it is not too big. Wellness area is having two saunas, steam bath, tepidarium, small swimming pool and jacuzzi. Food was excellent! Great area for hiking. Will come back for sure! :)

Unspectacular hotel in a lovely little town. It's the little things that make a hotel special and sadly things like additional payment for parking, cold jacuzzi, uninspiring breakfast choices and Nescafé sachets in the room do not make a positive impression in an alleged 4 star hotel. In my opinion a big change could be made here with the addition of just a little more attention to the little things...
Great hotel in the perfect location for an escape from the bustle of Budapest. The staff were warm and welcoming, with excellent English. Brigy from the reception was very helpful, and the place was clean with lovely facilities. 10/10 would recommend
Clean, special premises, nice service, perfect place to chill. Brilliant location, close to downtown, very satisfied!
We visited this place as a couple. Everything was fine. Restaurant is good, the staff was helpful. Rooms are well equipped and clean. The spa is a bit small with only one jacuzzi in the middle which is full most of the time.
Never choose a sofa bed... :/

Very pleasant stay and experience. Spent two nights with our 2-year old and everything was perfect. The hotel has fair rooms that are pretty neat, a good cuisine, and it is in a great place to almost all the things to see. It is a shame that after you get your accommodation, you do not get access to the hotel spa only by paying ( 10 euro/person). Instead, you can go across the street to te city bath for free. I belive this is outrageous. It's really shameful. This is why I gave this poor mark for...
The hotel itself is very good. However, elevators, only 2 if you wanna go to the underground garage. Upon check in and check out, we had to wait 20-30mins to be able to get up and downstairs. Food selection is good but not all of them are as delicious as they look. Overall, a good experience though.
For this price (70-80.000 huf ~200 eur/night for a double bed):
- no wellness, you have to walk to the other side of the road to the pool
- no londiner "bell boy" service, you have to pack your own stuff.
Otherwise nice, clean rooms, great breakfast.
The bar of the Hotel is not managed by the Hotel management! This is a pity because they are acting very arrogant. It seems that you have to fall on your knee if you want to be served! It's a neat and nice place to come for mostly package holidays, but it's hard to walk around because the surroundings are too dark and squashed. Luckily, it was good to sell wine in the restaurant.

Great family friendly hotel. Great value for money. We stayed 5 days and it was relaxing for grown ups and exciting for kids. We will definitely return.
It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...
The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once.
Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi.
Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more.
The kids wanted to stay more.
Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.
I'm rating the hotel only.
Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).
The facilities where very good.
The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air
condition was very noisy and not very cold.
The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian.
The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.
The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel.
It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

Budapest. Danube. Ship. River windows. I'd like to come back. A couple of days, like a couple of seconds. Beautiful city. Night illumination is something. Hotel for different incomes. The breakfast was good.
This is the best possible place u could stay on Danube......Fantastic breakfast spread and Good People at the reception.....
Room was spacious, elegant, and comfortable. Continental breakfast offerings fit for royalty. A tad far from Budapest center, but this allows for a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We stayed 2 nights during our East Europe tour 3 weeks ago. The rooms quite spacious, quiet and clean. There’s Tesco extra nearby. Breakfast was good 👍🏻 location a bit far from city center
Quiet area, nice and big rooms, great customer service, located not too far from the heart of Budapest, but it's recommended to take a taxi cab through the Uber app. Taxi drivers are honest and super nice, with no hidden fees or extra charges. It was a pleasant stay for us as a couple. Nice staff, great wellness, great food and drinks. The rooms could do with a bit of renovation as some of the facilities did not look or work well. Takes some time to get to the city center, public transport does the work.
Overall, it is a good hotel. The hotel staff will treat you with respect and a smile. He had a very good breakfast. We had fun. It had a very good pool and jacuzzi. Our room was very nice and quiet. But the bathroom was not very clean. We paid 180 euros for a double night.
The service and food at the River Bar was excellent!

My favorite hotel in Budapest. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and helpful. The appartments are big and beautiful and well equipped. The danube is very near and it is a good and calm district. The breakfast is good and they also have a bar and the lobby is very comfortable and nice. They also have a gym, swimming pool, sauna and jakuzzi/ whirlpool. I really love this place 🥰
Helpful staff, a decent small sauna, a well-designed and equipped kitchen, and rooms in a one-bedroom apartment
with two TVs, which of them has a good channel lineup. Cleaning is accurate. We enjoyed the great backyard view.
There is a modern laundry machine for which you can purchase detergent in reception
The living room needs better lighting otherwise convenient for a long stay.
Should we come again...
Great place to stay, located in a quieter area of the city but within easy reach of the city centre, three stops on the metro. Studio was really nicely equipped, bed super comfortable and the facilities were great - such a luxury to have a decent gym, pool and sauna on site! If only the bin men could collect a little later in the morning! Definitely recommend!

Very clean, simple with air conditioning. Very reasonably priced. Very central location. About 15 min walk to Westend shopping center. Across the street from an Aldi should you want to get fresh food.
Wonderful hotel for a weekend in Budapest. Very quiet, clean, looks even better than in the photo. The rooms have everything you need, perfectly equipped small kitchen. Turns out it's so convenient when you can come and heat up food in the room, no need to go and ask for anything.
The staff are very friendly and polite, helped to make the internet better in the room.
The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are...

The room is a cabin. II think that the size is less than 20m2. So Shower room is tiny. I spent two nights. I had a relaxation time. Read a book, drink beer and watch a video at sun deck. Breakfast buffe was better than I thought.
Clean room. Larger than expected. Amazing views across the river. WiFi access points could be better placed but signal strength in rooms is not a surprise with all the metal. Outside the room seeing wifi speeds around 50mbps down /13mbps up.
Loved our stay here, beautiful view, very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The only let down was the breakfast but only because we like a typical English breakfast.
It was an unexpected that the original Grand Hotel Jules we booked upgraded us to their partnership hotel MS Maribelle due to the hotel technical reason. We were glad to have this upgrade opportunity. I would like to praise the staff oh the hotel. They are really helpful and warm. Especially the receptionist young lady Ms.Zita. She is amazing staff. She is really provide service from her heart. She...
Excellent value floating hotel situated almost opposite the parliament building. Nice rooms, great views and friendly staff. A little away from the centre but very close to the nearest underground station. A good base for visiting the city. Breakfast prices convert to approximately £10 pp which I thought was reasonable value for a buffet and a gentle start to the day.

Service and location - ok. Room could be more clean (bathroom).
For parking there are some restrictions for bigger cars:
Hotel Regnum**** has a closed deep garage, which our guests may use with regular-sized cars (maximum 2,2m wide, 1,8m high, 4,5m long) for the cost of 20 EUR/night. We recommend that guests with bigger or lowered vehicles use public parking on the street to avoid any inconvenience...
This is our last night in the city and hotel and all I can say is that we are delighted. The hotel staff is friendly and professional. They gave us suggestions on what to visit and helped us with transportation. Our room was clean and tidy, the beds neatly arranged. We had coffee and tea if we wanted, as well as cold water. Breakfast was buffet style and you can choose what and how much you want to...
It's hard to evaluate this hotel. Personnel is great, room we get is huge, spacious and with amazing terrace. Location I couldn't think more convenient. Very close to everything. But if they claim 4 stars... From service and additional thing they have nothing. I had better breakfast in 2 star motels. Coffee is undrinkable, choice of food almost non exist. So if you choose hotel because of location...
Room 505 didn't have any heating on our last night. There was no bar or restaurant service in the 3 days we were there. Room was OK bathroom bath very high when trying to get inand out the shower. Location was fine but room with balcony absolutely no view. Would I stay here again probably not.
Very nice hotel!
Service is super helpful!
Very tasty breakfast - many varieties of food.
Rooms are modern and very cozy.
However they could care more about keep rooms and restaurant super clean. Otherwise all on a very high level.
Room is big and clean, helpfull staf, nice breakfast and we parked our car just in front. We will be back!! Thank you!!

I should say BIG THANK YOU to NH Hotel Budapest. I lost my Iphone 15 promax, but they found it in the breakfast table where I was eating. I was so clumsy with my item, but I appreciated so much for the hotel and staff support to keep it safe and handed to me.
The front office staff were also very patient and caring when I requested support to print out few documents. Such a BIG HELP!!
You are amazing...
Ok hotel, but staff not at all accomodating when I needed a secluded place for a meeting after checkout. Claimed all rooms and conference rooms were booked. Could see for myself that at least two conference rooms were locked with no participants and it was still possible to make reservations for a regular room on the web site ☹️
The easiest 5 stars I ever gave! Great hotel with great stuff! Thank you for hosting me and my wife and for understanding your clients' needs!
Recommending for anyone who is visiting Budapest!
[Jun-2023] Hotel well located at the center of the city. The room was spacious and clean, although a bit outdated. The breakfast was great with a variety of food. I liked very much the attention they made when checking out of the hotel. Since my flight was during the night, I asked if they could make something to eat, and they did. That was nice 👍
Hotel is fine for the facilities and location and overall courtesy etc. What was a disappointment was that they didn't replenish water in the room after the first one and one had to buy water. I took 2 bottles from the bat below thinking I'm just replenishing..but they charged me for it on check out. And they weren't at all willing (atleast to me) for a late check-out. I didn't ask for hours but 3...
Great location just behind the City Theatre . Big hotel, specious rooms, delicious breakfast !
Different means of transport available when you go out from the hotel. But also you can do everything on foot, walking down beautiful streets of Budapest !

It was a nice hotel and once we got our bearings, decided it was good in location for nearby shops and public transport. We enjoyed a well stocked buffet breakfast, but didn't book for dinner, only because we were out most of the time. I think it could do with some money spent on it now to improve its appearance but as it's probably used as a base for many tourists, you are not looking for much in...
I stayed here 3 nights and it was such a nice experience! Breakfast is great, many options and good quality. Room is very clean and enough space. They even fixed the room twice! The 9th floor has a small but very pleasant pool with awesome atmosphere (and sauna). Is very well connected. I will keep as a reference for a future visit. (I was super lucky and see the city covered with snow, please find...
Second time at this hotel this year. The Hotel Belvedere is well positioned in the city and for the price we think it is excellent value.
Standard rooms are comfortable clean with nice bathroom and may have a balcony. A great bonus is that there is a pool and sauna on the top floor. We found at breakfast there is something for everyone and the garden room and restaurant used for breakfast is nice and...
Excellent hotel. I booked through the British Airways website based on recommendations there, and they were mostly on point. Very well presented, positioned next to a local park thus offering nice views. I didn't use it, but parking if available. The room was stunning and well presented. Restaurant was light on vegetarian options, but the food quality was good. The only reason it loses a star is it...
Pretty hotel, not too far to walk to the next station.
Rooms could have been cleaner (water stains on the wall, stains on the toilet etc.)
Breakfast was good, they had local food like gulyás and sausages, which was great!
Highlight definetly was the pool and sauna area on the top floor with a great view on the parliament building.
Had no tea making facilities.
Carpets needed a clean
No English TV stations other than world news.
All other facilities good as we're staff.

Staff were very friendly and service was very professional. So glad I stayed here with my friends and was lovely coming back after a long day of sightseeing. Booked a relaxing massage which was also professional.
Excellent service, professional front desk staff. Good location, connected to westend shopping mall. The executive lounge is the best of all the Hiltons. Keep it up!
When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.
I stayed in this hotel several times over the last years and I love it. The staff is amazing, the rooms are big in size and clean and well arranged. The breakfast is served in a nice area and the park on the rooftop of the shopping center has its own charm. The executive lounge offers good food at the happy hour. The hotel is linked to the shopping center and there you have a big food court in the...
First day.In Budapest not for the first time.Often at the Kempinski. This time chose the Hilton Budapest City.A very good hotel.Staff ,cleanliness.Tomorrow we'll see...
The best breakfast with a fresh orange juice which is served directly by the waiters. You can find here a hungarian traditional food corner with lot of tasty hungarian dishes. I like it a lot.
