My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights during May of 2019. I want to make it clear my review is in the context of this being a 3 star hotel to start. We typically stay at 4 star hotels of better, so don’t expect “new”. 10 days we stayed on the campsite. Nice pitches, water, electrics and a place to do the dishwash on each pitch. The bee-eater birds are on the wires each morning! Nice swimming pool with relax beds. Fantastic restaurant with friendly staff.... we loved it, and it is the perfect base for exploring Montepulciano, Siena region... and: do not skip the Val d'orcia region! Gorgeous hotel, very spacious rooms with a small kitchen and big bathroom included. The free breakfast is good and the restaurant is nice for lunch or dinner if you don't want to explore the area but be sure to make a reservation for dinner. Extraordinary food, service is amazing.

Although we have traditionally always been the types that never return to the same place because we want new experiences. We have visited this place twice already this year, although there are 4000 km back and forth. And I'm sure we will return there again. An authentic Italian experience in the top class, with exquisite food and exceptional service.

Food was good service was so so. We ordered 3 pizzas the last didn't arrive until after the first two were finished. No mention of the delay. Things happen but could have been dealt with differently. Nice location.

When we came across Borgo San Vincenzo (online), we were very intrigued and decided to book a few nights there while traveling around Tuscany. This place truly exceeded our expectations. A beautiful and calm place. The staff is very polite and kind. You can take a bicycle for free and walk among the vineyards. Everything is new and tastefully designed. The beds are big and comfortable and the room is very clean. Definitely highly recommend

We spent 3 nights on our trip to southern Italy in this very clean, comfortable and quiet house. The breakfast was a dream and the dinner, cooked for us by Assunta, is highly recommended! It is also a stone's throw from the motorway and many sights.

Amazing property. We did a Pasta class here. We made pici, tagliatelli and raviolo from scratch, and helped to make the sauces for the pasta. Then we got to enjoy our creations over a bottle of red wine.

Beautiful, spacious apartments in fantastic location. Dining room perfect if you have young children. Pool was too cold but definitely inviting. Hot tub prices prohibitively expensive. The staff at this hotel is the nicest and warmest I've ever seen. We arrived late and the host helped us to order pizza from a close restaurant, she even guided us on how to get there. The rooms were impecable clean. We went on the winter and heater was just on point to make us feel warm. They even have a heater in the bathroom, bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Just came back from a week in Montepulciano where we rented 3 holiday apartments at the Agriturismo Sanguineto (we were 3 Mums and 6 kids). Everybody loved it: the pool, the view, the wine degustation, the visit at the farm, our panoramic lunches and our tours to Siena, Florence and the villages of Val D'Orcia... Very nice structure in the middle of the greenery, but very close to the road that leads to Montepulciano. Clean pool, the apartments were very nice and had mosquito nets! In addition to being very kind, the owner offered us a tasting in her family cellar.

We stayed here for a week and had the most amazing time! The hosts, Susanna and Massimo, are lovely people, we felt super welcome. One night they invited us to watch the Euro final together, made pizza, offered cheese and wine, which was so generous and nice! Top bed and breakfast in val di chiana. Rooms were cool despite 40 degrees Celsius outside. Restaurant was amazing with an incredible view of the sunset. Breakfast was full with delicious delicacies from Tuscany. The pool was clean and quiet, sourrounded by olive trees. Highly Recommended!

Easy drive into Montepulciano, only about 10 mins away. Reception will give you a taxi number but it was pretty pricey! No coffee only tea in your room which i thought was odd for an Italian place to stay. Views from the terrace were spectacular and the dinner was really nice however they did seem very understaffed. Make sure you take something to drink and eat and plates and glasses as before 5pm...

An incredible Tuscan getaway! This is a perfect location for a holiday in Val d’orcia! The hotel is located only a couple of minutes away from Montepulciano. We made it our “home base” and stayed for 6 nights. Each day we took day trips to different locations in Tuscany. A lovely setting with beautiful olive trees. Some staff were amazing and some bar/restaurant staff not so much. Restaurant food was good, but did not come out as one. Also very few beers on hand for those in need.

Gorgeous setting, the pool was great and the accommodation was quite nice (though dated). Some staff were great, others really really bad. Only letting this down by 1 star because of our horrendous meal at the restaurant. Over an hour wait for food and very different reasonings from staff… discount was given only after we had to ask. Otherwise, lovely.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Molino and we had a great time! It is a corner of peace and tranquility on the hills of Montepulciano, a few km from the centre. We booked the chalet and were just absolutely impressed. Monica is the perfect host and always made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The chalet and the garden around it are super nice, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Monica is truly a host with all her heart. We can definitely recommend the accommodation.

The whole thing was very professional, with stunning views and accomodation we didn't want to leave. The facilities include a quality restaurant, beautiful gardens,pool area with an infinity pool with fabulous views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. We stayed in a rustic open plan split level suite, tastefully decorated with exposed brickwork and beams (farm house style) with sumptuous furnishings

Very delayed post, but Villa Cicolina is an absolute dream! We had to postpone our trip twice because of COVID, but the team at Villa Cicolina were so accommodating. The views are gorgeous and the food is delicious. We ate breakfast there every morning and the server was so nice and helpful. Villa Cicolina was a beautiful place and we had a great stay here. The highlight of our stay was hands down their restaurant (and the lovely restaurant staff!!). :) Had a very tasty pasta and their bisteca alla fiorentina was phenomenal.

Here at Il Fienile you can only feel good. Either you relax by the pool, grill outdoors and refine your dishes with herbs from the garden, or you explore the nearby historic towns such as Pienza, Montefollonico, or Montepulciano.

Nice house, well kept and clean. The pool is nice, the amenities in the house are few but enough. The rooms are functional, although far from cozy. But 'agriturismo' it really isn't; the concept seems to have been diluted here I'm Tuscany. It's a decent b'n'b and it's indeed in the countryside: but agriturismo requires a bit more than that.

The place is perfectly clean and has a magnificent view. You can easily go out from the room through the balcony and sit in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped to make lunch or dinner, but common for all 3 apartments, so you can meet other people there. Anyway, we enjoyed it a lot, Lucia is a super kind host.

The room was decent and the spa was really nice. It made a good central point to explore the Tuscan country side. Our room was a bit of a walk to the spa and restaurant. The WiFi is also only available in the lobby not the rooms.

The apartment is very nice and very well designed. It has a small entrance area with a table suitable for breakfast, a coffee machine and a small sink. The bedroom has a nice balcony with garden view and a sofa. The bathroom is spacious and has everythin what is needed. Highly recommended!

Georgio has a very beautiful spot 1km from the walled town of Montepulciano. Very tastefully decorated and they have thought of all needs / requirements. Free, safe off street parking. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I arrived in November on a cold and rainy day. The bnb was so welcoming with heated floors and great hospitality! The host is friendly and helpful with knowing train times and destinations. She gave us breakfast which was great! This bnb was a highlight to our 3 month trip to Europe. Excellent location with easy walking access to Montepulciano centre and a supermarket nearby. property was clean and tidy and we had a very warm welcome from Nicola (hope I’ve spelt it correct!). Family owned wonderful B and B just a 10 Min walk from one of the city gates. Yet secluded enough where it is peaceful during the day and night. Extremely helpful with wineries and assisting with a cab as well as recommending stops for our return drive. Will be looking to stay again if not you should support them!
