We typically stay at 4 star hotels of better, so don’t expect “new”. We spent 3 nights on our trip to southern Italy in this very clean, comfortable and quiet house. The breakfast was a dream and the dinner, cooked for us by Assunta, is highly recommended! It is also a stone's throw from the motorway and many sights.

This B&B is perfect if you wanna spend some peaceful days in a countryside. The rooms are big and very clean, the bathroom and the shower are very comfortable. The breakfast is continental and well prepared. The owner is very kind and helpful. Recommended!!

The location is a bit of a rural agriturismo, but the spacious grounds and well-maintained landscaping, friendly service, and convenient parking are all excellent.

The photos are true and Agriturismo Sanguineto was a wonderful place to visit. We stayed for 5 nights and ventured out to the various historic cities nearby every day. the staff was very friendly and hospitable even preparing a meal later than scheduled due to our late arrival. I would definitely return.

She's a beaut! This property definitely captures the iconic Tuscany essence in the fullest. Would highly recommend making a reservation for dinner at the 'in house restaurant' while visiting. Make sure to talk to the host about specific transportation needs if you do not have a car upon arrival. It is fairly tucked away as far as closeby hubs.

Beautiful Stay in Tuscany countryside This was an unbelievable stay in Tuscany! A short drive from Montepulciano! Several wineries close enough to walk to. The view was unreal! The apartment for three was stunning and comfortable. The kitchen was great!

Very nice structure in the middle of the greenery, but very close to the road that leads to Montepulciano. Clean pool, the apartments were very nice and had mosquito nets! In addition to being very kind, the owner offered us a tasting in her family cellar.

We stayed here for a week and had the most amazing time! The hosts, Susanna and Massimo, are lovely people, we felt super welcome. One night they invited us to watch the Euro final together, made pizza, offered cheese and wine, which was so generous and nice! Top bed and breakfast in val di chiana. Rooms were cool despite 40 degrees Celsius outside. Restaurant was amazing with an incredible view of the sunset. Breakfast was full with delicious delicacies from Tuscany. The pool was clean and quiet, sourrounded by olive trees. Highly Recommended!

Easy drive into Montepulciano, only about 10 mins away. Reception will give you a taxi number but it was pretty pricey! No coffee only tea in your room which i thought was odd for an Italian place to stay. Views from the terrace were spectacular and the dinner was really nice however they did seem very understaffed. Make sure you take something to drink and eat and plates and glasses as before 5pm...

An incredible Tuscan getaway! This is a perfect location for a holiday in Val d’orcia! The hotel is located only a couple of minutes away from Montepulciano. We made it our “home base” and stayed for 6 nights. Each day we took day trips to different locations in Tuscany. The hotel is very charming with its quaint style and the lovely vineyard (amazing views over The Valley and Montepulciano at sunset...

A lovely setting with beautiful olive trees. Some staff were amazing and some bar/restaurant staff not so much. Restaurant food was good, but did not come out as one. Also very few beers on hand for those in need.

Gorgeous setting, the pool was great and the accommodation was quite nice (though dated). Some staff were great, others really really bad. Only letting this down by 1 star because of our horrendous meal at the restaurant. Over an hour wait for food and very different reasonings from staff… discount was given only after we had to ask. Otherwise, lovely.

We stayed in the tree house and it was incredible. Know that there will be mosquitos but just being bug spray and you’ll be fine. It was a lovely villa!

Spent two nights here and will definitely return. What an amazing property. Hard to believe a place with only 16 rooms has so many staff members, and the owners are always wandering around the property, chatting with staff, guest and making sure everything is good. While we had to switch rooms during our stay as the same room wasn't available for both nights when we booked, we found beds and pillows...

We had a great stay in the pink house. It was clean, felt updated recently, well kept each day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing! Definitely worth having dinner there one night, the servers were great. Only feedback would be that the pink house should have its own wifi as it was hard to get connection from the main house wifi.

This family-run agriturismo was truly the perfect place for our honeymoon in Tuscany. The place is perfectly clean and has a magnificent view. You can easily go out from the room through the balcony and sit in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped to make lunch or dinner, but common for all 3 apartments, so you can meet other people there. Anyway, we enjoyed it a lot, Lucia is a super kind host.

The room was decent and the spa was really nice. It made a good central point to explore the Tuscan country side. Our room was a bit of a walk to the spa and restaurant. The WiFi is also only available in the lobby not the rooms.

The apartment is very nice and very well designed. It has a small entrance area with a table suitable for breakfast, a coffee machine and a small sink. The bedroom has a nice balcony with garden view and a sofa. The bathroom is spacious and has everythin what is needed. Highly recommended!

Georgio has a very beautiful spot 1km from the walled town of Montepulciano. Very tastefully decorated and they have thought of all needs / requirements. Free, safe off street parking. Highly recommended!

My fiancé and I arrived in November on a cold and rainy day. The bnb was so welcoming with heated floors and great hospitality! The host is friendly and helpful with knowing train times and destinations. She gave us breakfast which was great! This bnb was a highlight to our 3 month trip to Europe. Family owned wonderful B and B just a 10 Min walk from one of the city gates. Yet secluded enough where it is peaceful during the day and night. Extremely helpful with wineries and assisting with a cab as well as recommending stops for our return drive. Will be looking to stay again if not you should support them!

Stayed here in Nov ‘19 for about $75 euro per night. Good location near the city gate but I would have rather stayed within the walls themselves. Hotel spotless plentiful breakfast the only flaw is that the walls are thin and you can hear the badges in the other rooms they should soundproof the bedrooms with panels. However we had a good location excellent for both the spa and to visit Montepulciano.

The Sangallo structure has fully met my expectations. With the family we were welcomed with kindness, grace and a lot of courtesy. Cleanliness is at the highest level and you can see that nothing is left to chance. Excellent and plentiful breakfast and a "breathtaking" view from the room. We will be back very soon ... I love the place. I'm emotionally attached to the building and also the surroundings. Staff (the family that owns it) are very kind, will help you with everything. Price of the accommodation is very good if you don't reserve through booking.com. Call directly to the location, hosts speak some English, trust them, you really don't need booking.com, and you will also do them a favor.

Montepulciano is a small ancient village in the very heart of Tuscany, on top of a hill. Il Marzocco is an ancient building almost on top of that hill. We had a room with a very nice terrace & a view running several tens of kms towards east, including the Trasimeno lake & well beyond. Wonderful accommodations, very helpful host. Would be five stars except our room was a bit close to the local clock tower that marks the passage of time every half hour, even though the night. Bring earplugs and you'll be okay.

Cool old building, RIGHT next to a church tower. May as well have been sleeping inside that damn bell that sounded even after midnight. Beds were probably made of marble and the pillows might have been as thick as a folded flat cardboard box. Unsympathetic property manager.
