Very nice hotel, surrounded by green hills, with a fantastic spa and confortable rooms. In less than 20 minutes from this hotel you can reach the splendid Val D'orcia and experience Tuscany at its best!

Everything about the hotel is excellent except for the staff. A gorgeous pool, terrific restaurants, immaculate hotel, but the service was just not up to par; it was often impossible to find anyone to help us find anything. I would stay here again if the service was better.

Stayed here in Nov ‘19 for about $75 euro per night. Good location near the city gate but I would have rather stayed within the walls themselves. All the hotels inside the walls though were 140 euro and up, so this was a nice compromise. 70-80s era construction with little charm, but a clean cheap place to stay. The road off the highway up to the hotel can be easy to miss (be careful, the turn off is on a curve in the road and at an intersection). Very nice structure in the middle of the greenery, but very close to the road that leads to Montepulciano. Clean pool, the apartments were very nice and had mosquito nets! In addition to being very kind, the owner offered us a tasting in her family cellar.

My wife and I spent five nights in the Hotel Albergo Duomo. We used Montepulciano as a very convenient home base for local travel. The Albergo is located at the top and edge of the town which is very walkable, but steep in places. It is a small, older hotel, but was in good condition and very clean. There will be some street noise if you have the windows open. It has an elevator. It was a good value...

Well situated on the main (pedestrian) street 100m from the Duomo. Accommodation fairly simple but entirely adequate. Private parking in spaces in a public car park 5 minutes walk away. Room comfortable - comfy beds, small en-suite, small flat screen TV but no tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast OK with decent coffee, meat, cheese and some sweets. Easy drive into Montepulciano, only about 10 mins away. Reception will give you a taxi number but it was pretty pricey! No coffee only tea in your room which i thought was odd for an Italian place to stay. Views from the terrace were spectacular and the dinner was really nice however they did seem very understaffed. An incredible Tuscan getaway! This is a perfect location for a holiday in Val d’orcia! The hotel is located only a couple of minutes away from Montepulciano. A lovely setting with beautiful olive trees. Some staff were amazing and some bar/restaurant staff not so much. Restaurant food was good, but did not come out as one. Also very few beers on hand for those in need.

Gorgeous setting, the pool was great and the accommodation was quite nice (though dated). Some staff were great, others really really bad. Only letting this down by 1 star because of our horrendous meal at the restaurant. Over an hour wait for food and very different reasonings from staff… discount was given only after we had to ask. We had a great stay in the pink house. It was clean, felt updated recently, well kept each day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was amazing! Definitely worth having dinner there one night, the servers were great. Only feedback would be that the pink house should have its own wifi as it was hard to get connection from the main house wifi.

Price of the accommodation is very good if you don't reserve through booking.com. Call directly to the location, hosts speak some English, trust them, you really don't need booking.com, and you will also do them a favor.

This exquisite villa is better than advertised. Stefania and Gaia were beyond helpful, all staff were friendly and attentive. The grounds are so picturesque, photos don't do it justice. The location is peaceful while also central for touring around Tuscany. Recommend bringing a vehicle as local taxis are not reliable and often cancel.

Having visited towns in Tuscany in the past, I had always envied the ancient hilltop buildings that housed small boutique hotels. Finally got my chance and it was amazing. Il Tosco feels like you are visiting a wealthy relative. Rooms are authentically decorated and the kitchen is always filled with fresh pastries for you. It is such a special Tuscan experience. We loved our stay here. Especially the interior, cleanness, and tranquility. Friendly and professional staff. If you are traveling with kids there is a small playground. It is located close to Montepulciano, Pienza, and Terme San Filippo. You can also have a picnic at a cheese farm Cugusi Silvana on your way to Pienza. This is in the heart of Montepulciano. If you want to stay in a hill town this is your place. The views out of the room we stayed in were amazing. I could have just sat in the window for hours. There is a cute little bar in the lobby of the hotel. With a wonderful selection of wine (go figure). The rooms are spacious. There are amenities in the bathroom. And a safe in the room. The place is perfectly clean and has a magnificent view. You can easily go out from the room through the balcony and sit in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped to make lunch or dinner, but common for all 3 apartments, so you can meet other people there. Anyway, we enjoyed it a lot, Lucia is a super kind host.
