Very nice hotel, surrounded by green hills, with a fantastic spa and confortable rooms. In less than 20 minutes from this hotel you can reach the splendid Val D'orcia and experience Tuscany at its best!

Everything about the hotel is excellent except for the staff. A gorgeous pool, terrific restaurants, immaculate hotel, but the service was just not up to par; it was often impossible to find anyone to help us find anything. I would stay here again if the service was better.

Beautiful terrace, top notch service, large well appointed rooms and a world class spa. We loved this place so much, we extended our stay

The room was decent and the spa was really nice. It made a good central point to explore the Tuscan country side. Our room was a bit of a walk to the spa and restaurant. The WiFi is also only available in the lobby not the rooms.

Stayed here in Nov ‘19 for about $75 euro per night. Good location near the city gate but I would have rather stayed within the walls themselves. All the hotels inside the walls though were 140 euro and up, so this was a nice compromise. 70-80s era construction with little charm, but a clean cheap place to stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location. The hotel is off the highway (SP146) between Montepulciano and Sant'Albino. A car is absolutely necessary to visit the hotel. The road off the highway up to the hotel can be easy to miss (be careful, the turn off is on a curve in the road and at an intersection). We had a 4 night stay at Hotel Panoramic, it was a last minute booking due to a change in our travel plans. We paid £300 for the stay. We were a little concerned by the reviews and the responses given to any criticism, constructive or not, that the reviews contained. We were pleasantly surprised! Unexpected, but it was one of my favorite place in Italy. You would never be able to have such a heart-warming experience at this price. Montepulciano is definitely my favorite town in Italy, and Hotel Panoramic was a perfect place to stay in this town. Amazing view and breakfast, extremely kind and helpful staff. We (2 couples) stayed here for 4 nights late September. We loved it. No, the rooms aren't luxury or big and our shower pressure was low, but they were clean, quiet and comfortable. The food was surprisingly good, better than most of the town restaurants. The staff were delightful, I'll call out Veronica (so sweet) and the waiters. Kind personnel, good breakfast and free parking. Room was clean, but the shower tube was broken and it was dangerous because the metal that was detached from the shower head was very sharp. Anyway, we reported it to the reception. The view from the balcony is beautiful, but no privacy in between balconies because everything is visible. The last but not least, carbonara was fantastic!

A place with flavors of the past. Perfect location, parking under the bedroom window despite being in the center. The owner available and attentive to customer needs. The only flaw in terms of comfort, the floor shower, to which we are no longer used, but in the context, it could not be otherwise. To return during the Christmas markets.

We stayed one night, passing through. The owner and his mom are very friendly. Everything clean and in order. And the mom's pastafrola with homemade sweets are the best on the planet and its surroundings. highly recommended

The property has a lot of potential. The welcome was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was how clean the rooms and the breakfast room were.

Very convenient location, just outside of town. Great view from the room, the breakfast was plenty. The host was very nice and took the time to tell us what to see in the town and in the region.

Hotel spotless plentiful breakfast the only flaw is that the walls are thin and you can hear the badges in the other rooms they should soundproof the bedrooms with panels. However we had a good location excellent for both the spa and to visit Montepulciano.

The Sangallo structure has fully met my expectations. With the family we were welcomed with kindness, grace and a lot of courtesy. Cleanliness is at the highest level and you can see that nothing is left to chance. Excellent and plentiful breakfast and a "breathtaking" view from the room. We will be back very soon ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Structure of the 70s (outside and inside) but with everything you need. The nets are a bit squeaky but to stay one night they are fine, sufficient quality ratio.

Lovely! This is a perfect spot for roaming Tuscany. We had an incredible view from our balcony. The breakfast had a nice variety. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay there again!

Excellent location, conveniently offering parking, comfortable bed/room/bathroom/shower (great given how old the building/town is). And above all, very sweet and extremely helpful staff. Seems like the best one could do in the town! It’s an historic building in a medieval town, so expectations need to be adjusted for such. Great stay.

Lovely place to stay in Montepulciano, perfect location to explore the city. We didn’t have a car and the bus dropped us off close enough. Breakfasts are lovely (scrambled eggs are so good) and the staff are awesome

I love the place. I'm emotionally attached to the building and also the surroundings. Staff (the family that owns it) are very kind, will help you with everything. Price of the accommodation is very good if you don't reserve through booking.com. Call directly to the location, hosts speak some English, trust them, you really don't need booking.com, and you will also do them a favor.

Montepulciano is a small ancient village in the very heart of Tuscany, on top of a hill. Il Marzocco is an ancient building almost on top of that hill. We had a room with a very nice terrace & a view running several tens of kms towards east, including the Trasimeno lake & well beyond. It’s located in the most perfect location of the village ...walking distance to all the great restaurants, wineries, cute shops, and convenient stores including the pharmacy. This place was just too beautiful and the customer service was impeccable. I got sick during our honeymoon and they were so helpful with giving us breakfast after the breakfast hours...

My wife and I spent five nights in the Hotel Albergo Duomo. We used Montepulciano as a very convenient home base for local travel. The Albergo is located at the top and edge of the town which is very walkable, but steep in places. It is a small, older hotel, but was in good condition and very clean. There will be some street noise if you have the windows open. It has an elevator. It was a good value...

Well situated on the main (pedestrian) street 100m from the Duomo. Accommodation fairly simple but entirely adequate. Private parking in spaces in a public car park 5 minutes walk away. Room comfortable - comfy beds, small en-suite, small flat screen TV but no tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast OK with decent coffee, meat, cheese and some sweets. Hotel well located in Montepulciano but the info to get to the hotel and parking could be clearer. The room was small, of course, but the problem is that it overlooked an interior space between two buildings and we therefore had to turn on the light even in broad daylight. Mini bar noted on booking: but no mini bar, It doesn't matter but even the fridge didn't work and the info to the receptionist...

Simply the best in Montepulciano! The receptionist was wonderful. She helped us with directions and advice. She was very welcoming! Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was great!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the property and would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling to Montepulicano. We loved our stay here. Especially the interior, cleanness, and tranquility. Friendly and professional staff. If you are traveling with kids there is a small playground. It is located close to Montepulciano, Pienza, and Terme San Filippo. You can also have a picnic at a cheese farm Cugusi Silvana on your way to Pienza. The road to the Borgo is very colorful in spring.

Perfection! I’ve been travelling a lot in my life, but it has been years back that I felt that well and welcoming in a place outside home. The owners are lovely and would do everything possible for you to improve the quality of your stay. The complex consists of 9 apartments - each one specially decorated. There also is a pool & chilling area. The situation is very calm - but only around a 10’ drive...

New and very comfortable and quiet. Pool is not heated (brrr!) and their laundry needs a better clothes dryer, but the beds are comfortable and the hosts very attentive and helpful. Recommended.

Location is excellent, in the middle of Montepulciano, with everything accessible on foot. Luisa and Guiseppe were most helpful in providing suggestions on what to see / do in the area, along with restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Montepulciano

This place is so awesome. It has tons of character. Our room had plenty of space and it was very quiet at night. Giuseppe and Luisa are wonderful host and have a wealth of information. Plus, there is a perfect local breakfast place right around the corner that we went to every morning. Next time we come back back to southern Tuscany we will be staying in this town, exact same hotel.

This is our third stay at one of Stefania's properties, and enjoyed the lovely apartment on the hill overlooking Chiesa San Biagio. It's a private, gated location convenient to Montepulciano and local shopping. The view from the top of the hill is amazing and Stefania is always attentive to your needs. We look forward to our next visit!

Very nice place to stay near to Montepulciano, Italy in Tuscany area. About 30 min from main chiusi train station. Make sure to rent car if you planning to stay here that will help to go around.

A beautiful old building that has been well kept and beautifully maintained. We had an incredible room that we did not want to leave! The staff were amazing and really made us feel welcome and took the time to show us where we should go and what to visit in the town. The location was perfect and easy to find. Wonderful accommodations, very helpful host. Would be five stars except our room was a bit close to the local clock tower that marks the passage of time every half hour, even though the night. Bring earplugs and you'll be okay.

Cool old building, RIGHT next to a church tower. May as well have been sleeping inside that damn bell that sounded even after midnight. Beds were probably made of marble and the pillows might have been as thick as a folded flat cardboard box. Unsympathetic property manager.
