The hotel is located in the center of the village and the rooms are clean, spacious and it's quite outside. Parking is available in front of the hotel. The restaurant that belongs to the hotel serves delicious food and the personnel is very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast with a wonderful selection of sweet and salty produce is served next to the reception.

The hotel was quiet, and the staff were all very friendly, which was very appreciated. They all tried to quickly resolve any small issues in the room. They had a variety of wines and were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable enough for a family of three. The breakfast menu was not very varied, but it was clean. Thank you again for your sincere gratitude.

Spent a week there. What a wonderful place! A small hotel, recently and permanently renovated. They are serving delicious breakfast with regional Piemont specialties. Very much client-oriented: You can tell that thay are going "the extra mile" to make the stay for their guests pleasant and memorable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. When we were facing a medical issue with a tooth, Alessandro and his wife (both from the hotel team) arranged immediatly a visit with their family dentist and we were able to continue our vacation. Incredible. The rooms are nicely furnished and everything very well kept. The quiet hotel is embedded in the middle of the town of Bistagno with its authentic Italian town center. No tourists. A couple of very small local alimetari (food shops), bakeries as well as two ice-cream places just around the corner. This all gives you the impression of living the "Italian" way. We strongly recommend visiting Acqui Terme, the nearest town - also totally authentic and not touristy at all. We expected nothing and were absolutely positively surprised.

I decided to stay at the Monteverde Hotel in Bistagno during a relaxing week-end. The hotel is located in a tiny and pretty village near Alessandria, a strategic position if you want to visit the Monferrato and the Langhe famous wine areas. Finally we decided to have the dinner at the restaurant which was a tremendously positive surprise. The hotel is clearly renovated and in great and modern shape, the superior room was more than adequante for a couple, very comfortable and in my style looking but my main comment is about the restaurant which showed a tailored menu shaped according to the Pindemonte tradition. Exciting starters ("foamy" egg with trufle as in the picture) and pasta and main courses all made of high quality ingredients and clever receipts. Don't forget the cheese as dessert, they will offer you a wide variety of typical sheep and goat cheeses (and not only) from the trolley. And I need to mention the long and comprehnsive list of wines which are experctly and accurately selected according to your taste and menu. Thank you Sabina and to her staff!
