Hotel Continental Genova

Not recommended. I stayed in a room on the second floor. The next day, I found a lot of ants on the floor. I reported it to the hotel and they said they would deal with it. When I went back at night, I found more ants on the windowsill... Although I was given a new room, the room was smaller... And the mattress was uncomfortable and had a pit. I was sore all over after sleeping for two nights.

We were accommodated in a neighboring hotel (also from the same owner). We liked everything. The breakfast was great, the room itself was very beautiful. The location is right next to the train station, but there is no noise.

Good location, 3min walk to train station. Got a room upgrade to sister hotel next door. The gym is well equipped. Breakfast has a good spread & selection. Will come again

As expected, we moved to the five-star hotel next door.
The front desk service attitude was super good, and they suddenly started speaking Chinese. It seems that they also upgraded our room. It is facing the square of the train station, with a wide view, good ventilation and lighting. The breakfast is very rich and the environment is good. In short, it is the hotel with the most satisfactory hardware in the whole trip to Italy.

They up graded us to their sister hotel next door the Grand Savoia. Everything was absolutely perfect. We LOVED it !!!

A great hotel right next to the train station. The historic center and the port are just a stone's throw away. There is a lift station nearby, from where you can ride up the hills and look at Genoa from above. The hotel itself is brilliant. Everything is at a high level. At first, the wallpaper design on the walls in the photos on the Internet was alarming, but in real life it looks nice, and the hot air balloon under the ceiling that echoes the wallpaper design finally melted my heart. The view from the balcony in the room onto the square is breathtaking. The cleanliness in the room is perfect, the wonderful slippers came in handy. The room was warm and comfortable to sleep in in winter. The beds were comfortable, and we had a wonderful rest. The restaurant is very nice, such a typical family Italian restaurant, very cozy. We arrived late, did not have the strength to appreciate the terrace of the neighboring Savoy, so there will be a reason to come back!)

Book this hotel, basically stay at the Saxx Hotel next door. There is a piece of paper posted at the door of the Continental Hotel, pointing the way to the next door, which is very close, 20 meters away. The hotel breakfast is very good. The hotel is very old, 3 minutes away from the train station, and more than ten minutes away from the city center. The room is not big, and the bathroom is OK.

Place is pretty fabulous. Built-in 1876. It is still very much just as beautiful as it was in the beginning. I'm talking classic classic marble everywhere. Beautiful architecture. Has the original elevator still working that you have to use all the time. It's like stepping back in time. I loved it. I highly recommend staying here and the people are great. It's absolutely charming ,whimsical, Historic and playful. It makes you wonder who has actually stayed here over the past one hundred and thirty four years. Absolutely enchanting.

Lovely hotel which links into the adjoining hotel. Rooms were very cosy and was near the train station. Bathroom not that large but the showers were very good. Shutters on the window allowed the window to be open but gave you privacy. Staff members were very attentive and the room service personnel were very good at cleaning the rooms. We had breakfast included which, although the selection wasn't as large as other hotels on our trip but was still very nice and the staff were all very helpful. Lots of nice restaurants around and good bus routes nearby. We stayed for three nights and will be staying with them again. Hotel had maps for the local area as well as things to do. They have a beautiful old English lift which was nice to use and see.
