We stayed in this hotel with my family, and it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and the historic old town, making it easy to explore the area's attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a lovely balcony offering views of the sea. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, offering great tips on local restaurants and activities. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh, local products. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

Had a wonderful stay here.( Oct 24 ) Lovely location , across the road from the beach, 10-15 mins walk from the old town. Rooms are lovely, great rooftop pool, gym in the basement, huge amount of choice for breakfast. Very pleasant staff with special mention to Rossano and Federica on reception, they go the extra mile for the guests!

Small to medium sized hotel with helpful staff. Large rooms with balcony, small triangular shower, some rooms with restricted sea view but overlooked by adjacent building on one side. Shower drain blocked during our stay but it was cleared very quickly when we reported it. Good breakfast, nice rooftop pool area with sun beds but no sun shade. Set back from sea front and beach with 15 min walk to restaurant area and the old town. Local bar and supermarkets a short walk.

Firstly, my room was ready at a very early arrival, which was fantastic 😍

Nice room, great balcony, clean and looks pretty new.

The pool is on the roof, 1.25 m at the deepest, and has a kinda spa section. You can overlook the city and sea.

Breakfast was better than expected, this is Italy, not known for eating a lot in the morning - but it has everything ❤️❤️

The hotel is located very close to the beach, and a short walk from the old town.

I would come back 😊

Don't be surprised when you arrive at the hotel. It's behind some apartments. The drive up to the hotel made us wonder where we were. I've given a score of 3 for the room. Only light was through a door leading to a balcony that overlooked the carpark. It was very dark. If you book the hotel check where your room is we were really disappointed. The reception is a little like a dentist and could do with sprucing up. BUT. In comparison to other hotels in Alghero the ALma is one of the best. Lovely buffet breakfast. Immaculately clean. Great domestic team. Fabulous rooftop pool. Only 15 minutes walk to the town. The staff are absolutely lovely. Well worth a visit.

Very nice location for the hotel. View from our room was a car park but it was night time so it's not that bad. Location is very nice and it's right beside the ocean and a 10 min walk from the port which has some great bars and restaurants. The breakfast was very nice and it has many options. Swimming pool on the roof was also very nice.

Amazingly good hotel. Deserves more than 5 stars. Great room with large shower, balcony, tea/coffee, fridge and all that you could need. The nicest staff you could hope to meet, and an amazing breakfast buffet including eggs cooked to your liking on request. The location is right on the beach but beware that the wonderful old town is quite a distance if you are not as young and fit as you were - taxis seem to be non-existent in the evening; and the few buses running after 7pm have confusing pick up points.

Great little hotel at a perfect location between the old town and the beaches. Nice standard in the rooms, with the only downside (for this price) was that you could hear everything out in the corridor. This was seldom a problem as most guests are still, but one night we had to hear a noisy phone call at 4 in the morning.

Staff were always super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We only spent a day by the pool, but it was very relaxed and not crowded at all. Highly recommended and would visit again!
