Very clean hotel. Rooftop pool included, but the water was very cold. The first set of towels is included. Fitness and game rooms are on the ground floor. The room has a minibar, kettle for coffee and tea, and slippers.
We arrived very early at the hotel, around 8:30. We were able to leave our luggage and go to the beach.Toothbrush and shaving kit provided in the bathroom.

The Hotel Alma is in a fantastic location right beside the beach. The rooms are clean and adequate for a short break. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Pool was really nice too.

We stayed in room 401 on the 4th floor. The room was very spacious, the shower was nice, and we had a large balcony with a view of the sea. The bed was very firm but comfortable. We did have two twin beds which is okay as we knew it was a possibility. The pillows are also a very firm memory foam. One important thing to know is that breakfast service is also on this floor from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. and if you are a light sleeper you will hear dishes clinking, doors slamming, and people talking. Thankfully I had my white noise machine so it wasn't too much of a problem for us. The majority of the employees at the breakfast service as well as the employees at the front desk were polite. The breakfast has oatmeal, pancakes, bacon, omelets, fruits, coffee, and more. We really enjoyed it! The location of the hotel was wonderful. Roughly a 25 minute walk to the city center, 2 minute walk to the beach across the street, and 15-20 to maria pia beach which we absolutely loved! Alghero holds a special place in our hearts now! Lastly, Regelato in the city center is the BEST gelato I have ever had, the salted caramel specifically.

The hotel is actually behind a not so nice looking apartment block, so we had to drive up a shared driveway, but the entrance of the hotel after that is very good. Staff are very helpful. The rooms have very spacious balconies. The internet was useless, near impossible to fine network name, and when you did, the connection was woeful. Does have a great pool area, but the area needs some shade cloth areas so you can retreat from the glaring sun.

The location of this hotel is behind a run down apartment block, the photo's on the website are really misleading. the rooms are OK, but the showers are ridiculously small. They advertise they have a pool bar... they don't, it's not even on the same floor as the pool, it's located in the buffet area and they is no bar whatsoever. pool area has no atmosphere, no music, broken beds, seagulls drinking out of the pool...
The breakfast is definitely not worth 20 euros, there isn't much choice although the staff were nice and work hard.We asked the man on reception for some ice so we could have a drink on our balcony, we were told "ice is not free here, if you want ice you need to either buy a drink or pay 10 euros for it!!!!!! we have stayed in hotels all over the world and have never been asked to pay for ice.... our friends were staying in hotel florida which is a 3 star hotel, but it's location and general facilities are far better than this hotel. paid nearly a thousand euros for 5 nights in a 4 star hotel our friends stay was 300 euros cheaper than our hotel, so save some money and book hotel florida

We stayed in this hotel with my family, and it exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach and the historic old town, making it easy to explore the area's attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a lovely balcony offering views of the sea. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, offering great tips on local restaurants and activities. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of fresh, local products. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return!

Had a wonderful stay here.( Oct 24 ) Lovely location , across the road from the beach, 10-15 mins walk from the old town. Rooms are lovely, great rooftop pool, gym in the basement, huge amount of choice for breakfast. Very pleasant staff with special mention to Rossano and Federica on reception, they go the extra mile for the guests!

Small to medium sized hotel with helpful staff. Large rooms with balcony, small triangular shower, some rooms with restricted sea view but overlooked by adjacent building on one side. Shower drain blocked during our stay but it was cleared very quickly when we reported it. Good breakfast, nice rooftop pool area with sun beds but no sun shade. Set back from sea front and beach with 15 min walk to restaurant area and the old town. Local bar and supermarkets a short walk.

Firstly, my room was ready at a very early arrival, which was fantastic 😍

The pool is on the roof, 1.25 m at the deepest, and has a kinda spa section. You can overlook the city and sea.
Breakfast was better than expected, this is Italy, not known for eating a lot in the morning - but it has everything ❤️❤️

Don't be surprised when you arrive at the hotel. It's behind some apartments. The drive up to the hotel made us wonder where we were. I've given a score of 3 for the room. Only light was through a door leading to a balcony that overlooked the carpark. It was very dark. If you book the hotel check where your room is we were really disappointed. The reception is a little like a dentist and could do with sprucing up. BUT. In comparison to other hotels in Alghero the ALma is one of the best. Lovely buffet breakfast. Immaculately clean. Great domestic team. Fabulous rooftop pool. Only 15 minutes walk to the town. The staff are absolutely lovely. Well worth a visit.
