Don’t let the beautiful beach fool you xxx the worst service and the most unprofessional staff. Especially the waiters: rude and impolite. Basic services are not even available. The rooms although renovated but very uncomfortable. The mattresses are uncomfortable, the pillows are the worst I have seen and the Air condition is uncontrollable. If you call for other pillows they make you go down to reception to pick them up It’s almost a self service hotel but with five star hotel rate STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

After two years me and my wife were back at Hotel Dei Pini . Position on the beach is the top , the rooms at second floor were remodelled providing more space for dress and luggage. Services were still good , but we did not take any dinner as usual, we prefer to spend our nights going around Alghero and nearby small place, to breeth the real sardinia mood and way of life. Hotel its a little bit overpriced, is taking advantage of its fantastic beach and location , but there are services that a 4 star hotel for that price should have: fitness center well equipped, shuttle from-to alghero free of charge at fixed time. In addition the new rules that the beach location ( umbrella and sun bed ) has to be left at check out time, its not a good idea. Our flight was at the late evening, so they gave us the opportunity to stay at the pool for an extra value, but there are no direct connection at the beach ( you has to pass inside the hotel taking elevator to reach it ) and on our day there were a lot of not used place on the beach. IN the past year, with an extra charge, it was possible to use the beach until your flight time . Other good improvement is that the mattress were much better, firm and more confortable, because weàve requested , but for an hotel of that kind should be the standard. See you next year

Only the beach is nice, staffs at the reception will treat you like in a fish shops. Feels bad when you arrive for your holiday.
•Rooms are very small and mattresses not comfortable. All low quality and cheap items around.
• A/c wasn’t working for 5 days and did not offer any compensation for that either. They just don’t care.
•Breakfast is included in the price however, you need to pay extra for fresh orange juices and other foods.very limited breakfast.
•Low quality toilet tissue’s
• no foods available around specific times, you need to have a car to go outside.
• No kettles or glasses in the room and when you ask the room service you need to pay 8euro per visit.
• Mosquitos around
Please read all the other bad reviews on this hotel, I have been to more than 35 countries and hotels but this one is the worse that I have been. I can go on many things about this place, paid almost 1500 Euro for 5 nights.
Not worth for your money at all, look for better one.

The hotel is in a prime location on the beach, nestled in an pine tree wood with secure access. The strange rules they have almost spoil the experience. pros Lovely Pool, beach location and shower. Cons not able to sit on front row sunbeds without paying €50 per day per bed. Even though they maybe free. Sunbeds are allocated for the week, difficult to change. Need to use the same towel on the beach and at the pool, only 1 allowed per day. Unless you pay for an extra. Beds are hard, bad for your back, and they make noise when you move? Bedrooms are very small, lots of noise can be heard from the hallways. Not allowed to fill water bottles at breakfast, have to buy water, no sustainability. The hotel capitalises on any money making venture it can.

Very dated hotel, probably nice in the 70's ! Small basic and dated bedroom , not great beds. Bathroom ok. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Breakfast was good as was the coffee. Small beach with beautiful clear water. Ridiculous rules on beach... you get told which sunloungers to use , pool opens late and closes early .We found this hotel to be overpriced for the room standard .

The air conditioning in this hotel is not working (May 2025). First, the hotel staff said it had been fixed, then they claimed it couldn’t be done because the air conditioning is set to winter mode, not summer. The room was stuffy, so I opened the windows — and ended up with mosquitoes in the room and a sleepless night.

The staff at the hotel were great, so helpful and friendly. They organised car hire, a taxi to the airport and a slightly later checkout. Our room was spotlessly clean, had a lovely balcony and the beds were comfortable. I would imagine this hotel is great in the height of summer, when you can spend all day on the beach, as otherwise there isn’t really anything else around, unless you take a trip to Alghero which is about a 15 min drive. Get a cab as it’s difficult to park, although cabs are quite expensive here - a round trip is 70 euros. Unfortunately the hotel is let down by the food served in the restaurant. We tried it two nights in a row but both times the food was really disappointing. It’s difficult as there isn’t anywhere else around unless you cab it to Alghero. We ended up eating from the bar which offers toasted sandwiches, salads and slices of pizza. Such a shame because the restaurant has great views and could be top notch if they sorted out the food.

Claudia was amazing to work with in scheduling our trip. We had a large party that required us to book various rooms and she was patient throughout every exchange and a pure delight to work with. She secured the best rooms for us and everyone was very very happy with the outcome! Beautiful hotel and beautiful beach! Entire team was great! Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Alghero.
