Good pity they don't make pizza at noon

My wife and I stayed at the Maison for 3 nights, It was a wonder ful experience. The service was great, the breakfast was delightful, and everyone was SO friendly. We had planed on going back there this year in October, but we were hit with the corona virus. Hopefully next year will be different.

The restaurant has changed its name and is now called IL REZZAGLIO, from the name of the hand-launched net, typical of the Magra river. Very nice restaurant practically on the Magra, it is possible to eat on the veranda, if the weather permits, excellent service and cuisine that uses local products with the imagination of chef Cesare. The desserts are excellent, the cellar is discreet. Open until December...

Clean and with very nice staff. Convenient for beach and ferries. Attic on the third floor without lift.

We just visited the restaurant. Food was allright, but we had better for the price. The complimentary bread wasn't very fresh, some of the menu wasn't available (but we arrived 2h before closing time, so somewhat excusable) Service was friendly. We were told that you could get one of the best pizzas here, sadly at the time of our visit there wasn't any on the menu.. If it returns we'll try our luck...

Nice hotel with views on the sea and mountain. Great restaurant for sea food lovers.

Few bad reviews on here for the restaurant? Thought I’d give it a review because we tried it as we also stayed at the hotel. Food was great, pasta fresh and full of flavour, proper Italian pizza, good wine, staff really friendly. Perfecto! Hotel was nice considering the cheap price, you get what you pay for! My girlfriend and me passed a wonderful time in this hotel, after 3 days of rush visiting all 5 terre we could really relax at the Locanda dell'Angelo. The pool is really big and warm with a big garden around where you can just lie down and enjoy the sun. After the check out they even let us stay in the pool for a few hours. Enjoyed our stay here alot. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing sitting in the foothills of the mountains. Rooms are clean and spacious and staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch was excellent quality and selection. Pool area is perfect and secluded and is exactly what you need when looking for a quiet place to relax.

Very quiet and relaxing place surrounded by greenery and silence. Gorgeous apartment, furnished with a lot of taste and with all the comforts. Equipment beyond expectations, clean, tidy and the owners really helpful and very kind. Beautiful experience in a magical place !!!

We really enjoyed it. Clean and functional, at prices that cannot be found in the area. From the house the view is superb and in a few minutes you can reach enchanting places. We will be back!

This family owned business is wonderful secret in the quaint town of Ameglia! It is also well located if you enjoy hiking. There are many wonderful trails that the average tourist will never see because they are not part of Rick Steve's path. Bocca di Magra is 5 minutes away and has a lovely port and gorgeous views of the Carrara mountains. Montemarcello is a great hike with the best focaccia panini...

Amazing dishes Pizza was also one of the best we ate for long time. Friendly staff, perfect tiramisu and coffee. If you have time please enjoy the degustation menu with fish, for 23 Euro. Such good quality food with nice wine.

We stayed a week in Bocca di Magra and had several meals at Hotel Gori. Excellent italian food and very good service!! This became our favorite place to eat during our vacation, and we would highly recommend it!!

Kindness of the camping staff, good location to explore the Monte Marcello area and fair prices. We spent one night in tent and had very nice time.

Very solid campsite with good facilities for tents. Relaxed management, late checkout and electricity adapter were no issue at all.

I went just after peak season and found it to be a quiet, flat site with some tree cover if you want it. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly, plus they speak perfect English - always a bonus! Its a good camping place. The bungalows are "okay". Most of the chairs and beds with the bungalow are broken, also at the pool. The matras in the bungalow where my son was sleeping was really dirty, it had black fungus on it! Not really clean, some of the accessories are broken or dirty. The dirt road to get to the camping is really bad, its full of holes. Overal not a bad place to stay, but it can...

The structure is wonderful, located on a panoramic point of Montemarcello. The house is very clean and cared for, the enchanting entrance among the olive trees and low palms that opens the heart at first sight. Everything was simply perfect! The location is great with the most amazing sea views, the house is beautiful and homely, everything is kept very clean and Valeria is a wonderful host. She was very welcoming, gave us great recommendations for our stay in the area and she prepares a wonderful breakfast every day. We can highly recommend staying here and we will definitely come back!

Just a great place to visit. Spend time and unwind.

Not bad, large and spacious rooms with air conditioning. The breakfast contained but with everything, brioches, cakes, toast and a drink or yes everything. The only problem is the inconvenient position both to reach the place by car and for the activities that can be carried out nearby, however 4 stars

The rooms are nice and the breakfast is all right but the WiFi doesn't really work and water can go out of the showers.
