Booked with a Vivabox gift card. Very helpful and friendly staff. Due to an unexpected event, I had to postpone my arrival by two days after booking, which was accepted without any problem. Large room, very clean, highly recommended. They offer a 10% discount for breakfast at the adjacent bakery. Parking is available in front of the hotel.

Passing through on a trip, we booked a night at this hotel in the afternoon. I had a special request, which was fully accommodated by the friendly and attentive staff. The size and comfort of the bed and the cleanliness of the room were noteworthy. Ample parking is available. I would also point out the fast charging station in the McDonald's parking lot across the street.

Average hotel, very minimal rooms, basic breakfast, and adequate room condition. We stayed for four days, only staying on a room and breakfast basis. Very close to the Aurelia road, convenient for transportation. The room needed some maintenance.

Was what we planned and dinner excellent but huge!

Renovation much needed, poor breakfast. Dinner was surprisingly good. Reception staff very helpful. Pool area is used as some sort of club area or locals where hotel guests seem to have little priority. Overall not worth the cost.

Good and clean rooms , not the largest rooms .. food is ok but pricy

The room is good and clean. There are no water heater in the room. The bathroom is clean and good also. The restaurant have not too much menu.

Some years ago we visited Bocca di Magra for the day, and had a drink on the terrace of this hotel. We vowed that someday we would return for a stay. This year we were able to fulfil that wish. We just visited the restaurant. Food was allright, but we had better for the price. The complimentary bread wasn't very fresh, some of the menu wasn't available (but we arrived 2h before closing time, so somewhat excusable) Service was friendly. We were told that you could get one of the best pizzas here, sadly at the time of our visit there wasn't any on the menu.. If it returns we'll try our luck...

Few bad reviews on here for the restaurant? Thought I’d give it a review because we tried it as we also stayed at the hotel. My husband and I stayed for ten days in August and we had a great time .... Cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness from all the staff. In August, my family and I decided to stay a few days at this splendid property. We had a wonderful time. The hospitality and friendliness were excellent, and the rooms and spaces were beautiful, with a picturesque view of the Magra River. The breakfast was excellent, with quality products. Dinner at the restaurant attached to the property was also excellent.

In the first week of September, I visited this splendid property with friends. Besides its enviable location at the mouth of the Magra River, I found the decor modern and practical. The hi-tech breakfast is truly remarkable: for just €8, you can enjoy both a savory focaccia and a sweet brioche, all accompanied by coffee and orange juice. I sincerely hope to return and stay longer.

Good pity they don't make pizza at noon

My wife and I stayed at the Maison for 3 nights, It was a wonder ful experience. The service was great, the breakfast was delightful, and everyone was SO friendly. We had planed on going back there this year in October, but we were hit with the corona virus. Hopefully next year will be different.

The restaurant has changed its name and is now called IL REZZAGLIO, from the name of the hand-launched net, typical of the Magra river. Very nice restaurant practically on the Magra, it is possible to eat on the veranda, if the weather permits, excellent service and cuisine that uses local products with the imagination of chef Cesare. The desserts are excellent, the cellar is discreet. Open until December...

The welcome is warm, special mention to Barbara who was very friendly. Breakfast and bottled water each morning made us very happy. The rooms are spacious, clean and functional, it just lacks a microwave. Small flat, the wifi is not accessible from the rooms.

We came with campervan, we stayed for 5 nights and want to stay one more and they are flexible with it. You can choose wherever to set up the pitch. Is an amazing place to rest and stay. The only disadvantage is that is no fridge or minibar or something to keep a bottle of water fresh. Can be brought from the restaurant but if you come late,there is nobody there.

If you want to experience true Italian hospitality, visit this family-run hotel. The view is amazing, one side you can see the whole of Carrara town and when you look the other way, you can see the beautiful marble mountains, which are about 30 minutes drive from the hotel if you want to visit the caves (which I recommend). This hotel saved my holiday. I could not find any place in La Spezia, so I booked here for two nights. It exceeded my expectation: clean room, beautiful view over the coast, very kind staff. The only thing is the road to reach it, narrow and with some turning. Not the ideal place to visit 5 terre, instead, ideal for visiting Carrara quarries, Carrara town and Massa. Also for the sea.

A real agriturismo. Animals, fields and all the outline. Some rooms and two apartments. Clean and excellent breakfast. Also a shop selling farm products: raw milk, cheese and meat. The sausages are exceptional when they are there. Very friendly staff.

The company was suggested to us by local people where to find fresh products made in the day and where to take the children to see the animals. Is what it says on the tin 3 star hotel, very friendly staff, some speak a little English but mostly they don't. Breakfast included, a very informal affair, cold meats and cheeses some croissants and a gluten free section. Got a little patio area with the room which was very nice. A 2 minute walk to the free beach.
