i came here on a trip with my travel club during our trip to europe. our room was large and very comfortable. the staff here are so kind and welcoming. at dinner, our waiter sang to all of us with his favorite songs and gave us a great experience. overall, had a great and memorable stay. i hope to someday make it back there to visit again:)

Seen from the outside is a 80's year old structure, while once inside we were surprised. The structure is old, but the hall is very nice, the rooms are nice, there is even a small spa area included in the price, and this is a plus. The nicest thing was the reception personnel, very gentle, polite, they gave us very useful suggestion on 5 terre. You spend few money, the hotel for sure is not the best...

My daughter and I stayed here on a European tour with EF Tours. The accommodations were pleasant but the hotel restaurant and staff went above and beyond to make my daughter's 13th birthday a wonderful and memorable event. I will be forever grateful for the memories they helped create. Thank you!!

Basic rooms but with all necessities, feels quite dated. Hotel seems to be in slightly odd area but other than that experience was ok, no problems. Could argue it's over priced but we booked very late. Friendly service.

We just visited the restaurant. Food was allright, but we had better for the price. The complimentary bread wasn't very fresh, some of the menu wasn't available (but we arrived 2h before closing time, so somewhat excusable) Service was friendly. We were told that you could get one of the best pizzas here, sadly at the time of our visit there wasn't any on the menu.. If it returns we'll try our luck...

Few bad reviews on here for the restaurant? Thought I’d give it a review because we tried it as we also stayed at the hotel. Food was great, pasta fresh and full of flavour, proper Italian pizza, good wine, staff really friendly. Perfecto! Hotel was nice considering the cheap price, you get what you pay for! Amazing food and service, family friendly place

Hospitality is good but the location is too far. It's like a remote area.

For me it's not worth for my holiday (1 night/149€) also not included breakfast 5€. Wifi is weak. The first time i opened bathroom it was smelly.The bed is not a big bed. But it's 2 single beds connected. Feel uncomfortable. Check in time : 16pm Check out time 10am is too cruel. But the location is fine. Behind next to the sea. You can see the beach view from your window.

Is what it says on the tin 3 star hotel, very friendly staff, some speak a little English but mostly they don't. Breakfast included, a very informal affair, cold meats and cheeses some croissants and a gluten free section. Got a little patio area with the room which was very nice. A 2 minute walk to the free beach.

A good place to stay near the Carrara harbor and beach. The staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms - some of them facing the Mediterranean - are modern, clean and we'll maintained.

Bella struttura, ma niente di lussuoso come il nome altisonante farebbe supporre. Le camere sono spaziose e arredate in maniera essenziale, ma gradevole. Frigobar ben fornito, televisore di dimensioni contenute come pure il bagno (abbiamo soggiornato in una camera superior). Personale molto cortese, ottima pulizia e colazione nella media. Rapporto qualità/prezzo adeguato.

Beautiful place near the sea, Carrara Fiere and the center of Marina di Carrara. The room where my mother and I stayed was super spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend this splendid hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Maison for 3 nights, It was a wonder ful experience. The service was great, the breakfast was delightful, and everyone was SO friendly. We had planed on going back there this year in October, but we were hit with the corona virus. Hopefully next year will be different.

The restaurant has changed its name and is now called IL REZZAGLIO, from the name of the hand-launched net, typical of the Magra river. Very nice restaurant practically on the Magra, it is possible to eat on the veranda, if the weather permits, excellent service and cuisine that uses local products with the imagination of chef Cesare. I only ate at the restaurant. Very chic place, but with some flaws. In relation to the prices of the menu, which are high, the cuisine is decent but below expectations given the costs. The toilets are a bit ugly and spoil the very nice setting of the garden.

Excellent place, IMHO it's the best one around. The service was very accurate and probably the best I ever had in my life, feeling like home in a soft atmosphere which makes you literally feel the sea. Food comes in artistic dishes and you can taste the freshness of it. It does worth a visit.

I was able to appreciate the common areas including the very elegant and well-kept meeting room and terrace. A flagship for the millenary city of Carrara.

Renovation much needed, poor breakfast. Dinner was surprisingly good. Reception staff very helpful. Pool area is used as some sort of club area or locals where hotel guests seem to have little priority. Overall not worth the cost.

Is an amazing place to rest and stay. The only disadvantage is that is no fridge or minibar or something to keep a bottle of water fresh. Can be brought from the restaurant but if you come late,there is nobody there.

If you want to experience true Italian hospitality, visit this family-run hotel. This hotel saved my holiday. I could not find any place in La Spezia, so I booked here for two nights. It exceeded my expectation: clean room, beautiful view over the coast, very kind staff. The only thing is the road to reach it, narrow and with some turning. Not the ideal place to visit 5 terre, instead, ideal for visiting Carrara quarries, Carrara town and Massa. Also for the sea.

Awesome Hotel with big beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and super friendly staff! There Is also a lot of Art in the Garden and in the house, even in your rooms, so it feels a bit like you are visiting a museum.
