Very nice hotel in the middle of a quiet and green area. Mediterranian trees and plants everywhere. Many smaller and bigger shaded terraces or sunlit areas with lounge corners. Large swimming pool area with bar (only staffed in the high season). Good breakfast with a wide variety of local and continental choices. Beach about 200 meters away. I'm here for a company dinner. It was a buffet dinner. The meal wasn't exceptional, probably fault of my company, not the restaurant

was three times in the ego hotel in the past tree years. every time it was a bit more disappointing as the rooms by now need to be overhauled. chairs with damages, flush in toilet hardly working and staints on carpets in the corridors. will change my hotel next time, mainly also becsuse its way outside of the city center and you always nees a taxi to get there.

I liked the sea view from the room. To be honest not that expensive for what you get if you compare it to the price and value of other available options.

PROBABLY the best thing about Italy for me so far. The staff - excellent! Fast, courteous, efficient. The room - spacious as heck. Excellent lighting, excellent bed which was large than life. Suuuper clean. Breakfast - AMAZAZING. Massive spread, from delicious apple strudels to pancakes with maple syrup and brie cheese with bacon and eggs. Ahhh the coffee... The room was comfortable and the bathroom large! View over the port provided beautiful sunsets. The breakfast was excellent. Very extensive selection including the largest sweets section we had yet seen. The scrambled eggs were made to order and were delicious. Service from all the staff was top notch.

This is an amazing hotel. Gorgeous rooms. We stayed here for one night in July, but would have liked to stay a lot longer. Extremely helpful staff. When our taxi did not arrive, a staff member drove us to the railway station! That's true customer service. Excellent choice for a stay in Ancona!

The hotel is well located - albeit with some steps involved. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Well appointed. The breakfast is very good with small cook to order - mostly continental breakfast - very adequate. The evening drinks on the terrace overlooking the harbour is quite delightful. Very nice hotel overlooking the harbour. The bedroom is not very large, but the bay windows give just the opposite impression! The bed is very comfortable, as is the shower. Breakfast went very well and Claude was very good! I recommend

Please ignore my earlier review - We gave them a low rating because of an issue with the temp of our room. I suggested they were not being responsive. In fact, the communications breakdown was my mistake, not theirs. They bent over backwards to fix the minor issue and were 100% responsive. I would stay here again in a second - great, stately hotel with a wonderful staff!

Wonderful hotel overlooking the port area of the city. Excellent service, very nice staff. Great comfortable rooms. This hotel gives a nice feeling of old world charm but is right up to date. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good indeed. A good breakfast with plenty of choice. Car parking is available at an extra cost but parked in their secure parking. This place is special in all the best ways. The other 5 star reviews are accurate. Outstanding service, gorgeous and spacious room (#107 with 12 foot ceilings, chandelier, view, very quiet), breakfast buffet was excellent. Elegant and refined without being cloying.

Super location with fantastic view, but it is not a boutique hotel atmosphere. They try to be more elegant then they really are. Too posh. I felt little bit unwelcome especially by the bar manager with long mustache who wants to be more important than guests. Probably the more money You spend the nicer he becomes. That's how I felt.

Just the perfect place to end our trip in Croatia. After some time sailing in the Croatian archipelago, we needed a charming place to rest and have some great food before heading back home. We stayed here in route to Tuscany. A beautiful hotel with a magnificent view The staff was so very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Great little town to walk at night and places to enjoy dinner and gelato and a charming bakery with lovely treats !!

My favourite hotel in Ancona... Located in a residential area 5 min walk from the sea. The decor is 70's modern Italian style, but somehow it all works. All the rooms are being renovated, some offer the best sea view of the Adriatic which is a must. The staff is extremely friendly and efficient. They now propose a basic menu should you wish to eat in the hotel.

Grand Hotel Passetto is one of the few hotel left with a soul. It's clear it is loved who runs it and it keeps it to an high standard. The hotel is old but very well kept. I stayed here for 20 days as it is the only property close to Ospedali Riuniti. Very clean and chic property. Premium restaurant. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. All rooms air-conditioned and good, stiff mattresses. The restaurant is a bit of a disappointment, understaffed and a bit pricey. But the breakfast is good.

A wonderful place with a unique and mesmerizing charm that leaves you with a magical aura of history and sea battles of past centuries. The view from the top is amazing and stands out to the turquoise sea with aquamarine facets that has something to inspire the senses. It is impossible to find a malfunction that exists from the reception to other services: they are all top notch.

The staff working in the bar is very helpful and polite.The parking has enough space a shadow (important if you come in the middle of the summer season when the sun can be very intense.) There are two terraces with sun chairs and direct access to a rocky beach....

Perfect place to enjoy a few days off. Matteo at the pool bar makes the stay real great and adds to the atmosphere. Food is amazing and the staff is very friendly and evenings are wonderful with live piano on the pleasant piazza in the center of the Fortino.

Stayed here one night after arriving on Ferry from Greece in order to catch train next day. It was basically OK for the money but don’t expect much. The door to the room seemed like it was hollow-core and could have easily been breached. Breakfast buffet was very basic but acceptable. Staff was friendly enough. And room/bathroom were clean.

Awesome place, I stayed here back in 2017 and it was awesome. Good cafe down the street area. Walked down thru the city, took a ferry after a couple days to Patras... wonderful lil town.

Nice hotel located by the bay of Portonovo with an amazing view from the terrace. The hotel restaurant is awesome and has a great choice of typical sea food and fish dishes. We also liked the breakfast a lot. nice and clean rooms, big bathrooms and very spaceious parking lot.

Beautiful. Staff, environment, restaurant made my business trip like vacations. Fantastic views, and surroundings. Outstanding food in the restaurant. Super friendly people. Rooms are clean and comfortable. One can get a beach within 10 or 15 min walking or ask staff for a lift. I would go there again to spend holidays or just few days with the next opportunity.

Beautiful hotel! Would definitely recommend staying here. Breakfast was really tasty and they really acknowledged the COVID guidelines. Service is outstanding. We had really little waiting time between dishes at dinner, because they always looked after us but without bothering our privacy. They charged us 10€ for the service at dinner but we gladly payed that fee as the service really satisfied us...

Very weary carpet and a really unpleasant smell everywhere in the hotel. Something like a window had never been opened in the hotel before. Comfortable bed.

Single room for a solo traveller, booked at the last minute. The room was well appointed and the hotel has been recently renovated. Operators are very friendly and will make espresso coffee by request at breakfast time.

Very hard to find, got lost and then lost again, so maybe take a taxi from the train station. People were very nice and helpful, they spoke decent enough English to recommend a great restaurant, Rosa Ristorante, and assist us with our cruise directions. Rooms are small, but standard for Italy, and the bed was clean and well kept.

Fair quality price ratio. The hotel must have been recently renovated, everything is new and clean. 5+ for the staff, they accomodated us much earlier than our check in hour. For our needs, ferry port and train station, the location was perfect.

This hotel is really clean. Personnel are nice. Prices really low. The only problem is the lack of parking and elevator.

Great little hotel. Comfortable beds, breakfast and very hospitable. Only concern is that there are a few flights of stairs to climb to get to the hotel floor. If you have heavy/lots of bags, it can be inconvenient.

Great location next to the bus station, and an easy breezy walk into the central town. Great restaurant next door. Quaint little town, great for sightseeing, and lots to do once you get to walking. Rooms are big and spacious, great set-up for how cheap the price is. Extensive breakfast included, with loads of options that won’t leave you hungry.
