Wonderful hotel overlooking the port area of the city. Excellent service, very nice staff. Great comfortable rooms. This hotel gives a nice feeling of old world charm but is right up to date. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very good indeed. A good breakfast with plenty of choice. Car parking is available at an extra cost but parked in their secure parking. Would definitely recommend.

Please ignore my earlier review - We gave them a low rating because of an issue with the temp of our room. I suggested they were not being responsive. In fact, the communications breakdown was my mistake, not theirs. They bent over backwards to fix the minor issue and were 100% responsive. I would stay here again in a second - great, stately hotel with a wonderful staff!

This place is special in all the best ways. The other 5 star reviews are accurate. Outstanding service, gorgeous and spacious room (#107 with 12 foot ceilings, chandelier, view, very quiet), breakfast buffet was excellent. Elegant and refined without being cloying.

Excellent hotel. Well located and first class service. Only complaint is room is very warm at night. Not sure air conditioning is working very well.

Wonderful, charming, quiet, clean, beautifully decorated hotel with very comfortable rooms. The rooms are small but is enough space for a couple. The concierge service is friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. They offer complementary laundry service. The gym is very small but is never crowded. The hotel restaurant is excellent and serves delicious food, great wines, and cocktails. Great restaurants in every direction and only a short walk away. One of my favorite hotels!

A very classy hotel which is perfectly located. We were very happy with the service as well as the beautiful room. The attention to detail is remarkable. There definitely are five star hotels that are worse than the Grand Hotel Palace. It was the perfect hotel to end our holiday trip.
