Villa Maria Hotel & SPA

We recently celebrated our wedding at Villa Maria Hotel & Spa in Abruzzo, and it was absolutely unforgettable. We had guests coming from both Canada and Italy, and everyone was blown away by the experience.

The ceremony took place in the garden and dinner took place on the beautiful balcony overlooking the sea – a breathtaking setting that felt like something out of a dream. The staff made everything seamless from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional; they anticipated every need before we even asked.

The food was phenomenal – course after course of authentic Abruzzese dishes prepared with such care and flavor that our guests are still talking about it weeks later. It truly showcased the best of Italian cuisine.

We also stayed in the Master Spa Suite, which was an experience in itself. Spacious, luxurious, and with spa amenities that made us feel completely pampered before and after the big day.

Villa Maria Spa made our wedding a perfect blend of Canadian and Italian warmth and hospitality, and we cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for a stunning venue with exceptional service and unforgettable food. 💛🇨🇦🇮🇹

Excellent hotel with lovely pools and facilities. The gym is poor and shouldn’t have a surcharge, but everything else is great.
Great staff, and the pool bar is very convenient.
It’s a 20 minute walk to anything (each way) and the only way to and from the train station is by taxi which isjt cheap so bear that in mind

The spa was a good add in.
We enjoyed the saunas and pools and relax zones after our long joyrney.

The restaurant manager is alone worth of one extra star. I admire the way he takes care of he's clients. I bet he is from Germany, not native Italian.

We just stayed at the Villa Maria Hotel & Spa for 1 night and had a great experience. It was the first time ever being in Francavilla al Mare and we are so happy that we chose this place. The location was great as we were without a car. The taxi ride to and from the Pescara train station was only 10 minutes. Also, we enjoy walking. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach in Francavilla al Mare and all of the restaurants, shops there—very easy to do. The room was clean, very spacious and I do recommend a view of the water—absolutely incredible. We loved our balcony. The property itself is very hidden and quiet. The hotel is very nice, kept very well and the breakfast was delicious. The entire staff at the Villa Maria is very accommodating and attentive to our every need—thank you to everyone working there! Upon our return to that area, we will definitely stay at the Villa Maria Hotel again. I highly recommend!

A well-known hotel in Francavilla al Mare, large and well maintained, surrounded by a large park and offering beautiful views of the sea. This is a hotel with various services, bar, meeting rooms and spa.. I recommend it

Impressive, modern, classy, and very clean property. Fantastic amenities, i.e, multiple pools, spa on property, and great dining. I was impressed the moment I walked into the lobby. We'll certainly be guest there again.

This is a lovely, slightly out of the way, four star hotel. Facilities are very good. Menu limited if staying for more than a few days but it’s very good food. Walking and public transport are a bit awkward but if you have a car there is no issue with that. The spa facilities are very nice. Best part of my stay!
