Nice location with nice overview over the lake, attentive staff and a generous breakfast buffet. Rooms are not updated. You can't control room temperature and very loudly because it's of the main road. I would not book it again.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Milano, its quite charming. However not the most luxurious, the AC was a bit noisy and the bed a bit too soft, but for the price I think it's quite good. They have a lovely terrace, they do offer a great selection of wines and the staff is very nice and friendly.

Great lake side hotel though a little dated. Room was adequate with a few issues such as no shower head bracket so get used to showering one handed! Large crack which has split wallpaper from ceiling to floor on one wall and discoloured wallpaper on opposite wall as though been wet. The location is very beautiful, with its own terrace overlooking the lake. The menu is a bit confusing. There are some dishes with lake fish, various proposals with Norwegian salmon, meat and some first courses. We tasted an appetizer with crunchy onion rings and herring, really good. What can I say ... it's like feeling at home, even more so. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Delightful garden where you can enjoy a good breakfast. From the rooms you can enjoy an excellent view of the lake. A stone's throw from Stresa. A huge thank you to Mauro the landlord for his sympathy and help on how to get around Lake Maggiore.

We had a really nice stay and highly recommend this hotel! The receptionists are super friendly. The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, with perfect view on the lake. We also really liked the breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast had a great variety, every day different cakes (freshly made) were served. We can also recommend their offer to go for a 3 course dinner at one of the islands.

Very nice accomodation. 2 km from Stresa, however you cannot reach it by foot. There is a bus going to Stresa each hour and coming back, so is easy to reach the town. Just accros the street there is a beach were you can relax and play(for kids). Breakfast is delicios. We enjoyed our time here and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all!

It's a great hotel!! However, if you do not drive it is quite a walk into Stressa. So a taxi is needed it costs roughly 15€. You do get the most amazing views. Breakfast is very simple but you have a wide variety of continental options. No hot breakfast options.

Beautifully perched on a promontory with view over Lake Major. It's best to have your breakfast under the morning sun on the terrace overlooking the lake. The apartment is new, spacious, well heated (we arrived on April), has WONDERFUL view of the lake and the city. The kitchen is well equipped for us (we only cooked breakfast/dinner) and the outside area is well suited for kids and family with toys and laundry room. This villa has amazing view to the Alps and Lake Maggiore. It's very Scandinavian style furnished with Kartell design pieces. The bathrooms are big and stylish and beds are comfy and there are nice closets in the bedrooms. The kitchen is 10+. High recommendation.

The view is out of this world. It is recently remodeled. The owners did a great job. Definitely remember to bring everything. There is no amenities. We had to buy our own shampoo, soap, salt and pepper. All of it. But the manager is super friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. It's an easy walk anywhere you want to go. I would recommend it over a hotel stay in stresa.

Excellent location, nice and quite clean place, the owner very kind, but on the booking it was written breakfast in the room, instead you have to go to a nearby bar and you can only take what they say. The price is good, not counting the extra money we had to spend on breakfast.

Good bed & breakfast for location and parking (even if there is very little space, maximum 2 parking spaces being tight). A little old-fashioned furniture, especially the bathroom, breakfast included at a nearby bar with croissants and cappuccino, nothing more. 3 stars you deserve, 3 and a half stars if there were the right, but I don't mind for 4!

Kind owner. The rooms were beautiful, colorful, bright, very well furnished, ours had a shared bathroom with another room but it worked out just the same. Good lake view. Excellent location, in narrow streets but close to the center. Too bad for the non-existent parking, there is only room for two cars, there is no lift, and breakfast is not served on site but in a bar along the lake. Overall good

Many things at the lake have stopped in time some 40 years ago, also this hotel. The telephone next to the bed probably soon needs a description for guests to remember what it was once used for. Beyond that the staff and management is helpful and caring and comfy common areas and a beautiful garden invite for a stroll or even some work if needed. Internet spotty in the rooms. Our room was very clean. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good too. I really liked the 19th-century style of the hall and the dining room. The relax area and the garden outside is beautiful! I enjoyed my stay at Hotel du Parc.

Excellent place to stay for visiting Stresa and the lake. Hotel was full of character and met our requirements. The selection for breakfast was more than adequate. The owner and staff very friendly and helpful. The only possible negative point was the railway at the back of the hotel but that did not spoil our stay.

No service and can hear noise from trains passing which disturbed sleep. Do not stay in the annex building. It has no elevator and you have to walk pass a gravel path. We had the most fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms have the most fantastic views and we had 3 balconies to choose from. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in a great location close to ferry (3 mins walk) and center (5 mins walk).

The scenery was simply breathtaking and staff welcomed us with open arms. We didn’t have any complaints during our stay. One great perk was the ability to choose between a smaller and bigger breakfast. Probably one of the best hotels to stay at during your visit at Stresa. Would definitely visit again!

We recently (July 2014) stayed one week at this boutique hotel located on Lago Maggiore in Stresa, northern Italy. We had a great week in a clean new hotel, after general renovation in corona period. We enjoyed an amazing view to the lake from the window, a central , but quiet place, and wonderful breakfasts on the roof of the building. Thanks to the owners of hotel for a homely and fun feeling.

I was one of the first to stay in the Sempione after its remodeling, and it is wonderful. Everything brand new, elegant and comfortable. The view from the terrace is unbelievable, and the managers and staff are delightful -- with a real eye for detail. Would definitely go back... soon!

Old and quaint, just what we expected. Had a balcony on the second floor looking out to the water. Hotel located in a nice shopping area, many restaurants to choose from. Not used to the shops closing for several hours at lunch time. Stayed several nights, very inexpensive, free breakfast, very satisfying.

The tourist menu is great value at €16 for 3 courses. It's a bit old fashioned but service was good.

Lovely hotel in Stresa. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's spotlessly clean. Food in the restaurant good (we stayed half board) with nice simple home-cooked food, usually a fish and meat choice. Breskfast a decent spread of bread, cheese, meat, cereal, fruit etc. and an egg boiler. Room 11 is large, comfortable bed, although wi-fi weak to the point of useless there and lots of TV channels...

Place is good. Near to lake and within 5 minutes walk you can catch the boat to the Isolas of Stresa.

The hotel itself was nice. The local staff definitely made the experience. The food was excellent and the waitresses were so friendly. They went out of their way to help you -- one of them even looked up the weather for my family. I'd recommend the trout fillet, along with the verdure cotte. The house wine was also excellent.
