Nice location with nice overview over the lake, attentive staff and a generous breakfast buffet. Rooms are not updated. You can't control room temperature and very loudly because it's of the main road. I would not book it again.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Milano, its quite charming. However not the most luxurious, the AC was a bit noisy and the bed a bit too soft, but for the price I think it's quite good. They have a lovely terrace, they do offer a great selection of wines and the staff is very nice and friendly.

Great lake side hotel though a little dated. Room was adequate with a few issues such as no shower head bracket so get used to showering one handed! Large crack which has split wallpaper from ceiling to floor on one wall and discoloured wallpaper on opposite wall as though been wet. The location is very beautiful, with its own terrace overlooking the lake. The menu is a bit confusing. There are some dishes with lake fish, various proposals with Norwegian salmon, meat and some first courses. We tasted an appetizer with crunchy onion rings and herring, really good. The first pleasant but nothing special. Good lake fish. Average prices.

What can I say ... it's like feeling at home, even more so. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Delightful garden where you can enjoy a good breakfast. We had a really nice stay and highly recommend this hotel! The receptionists are super friendly. The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, with perfect view on the lake. We also really liked the breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast had a great variety, every day different cakes (freshly made) were served. We can also recommend their offer to go for a 3 course dinner at one of the islands.

Very nice accomodation. 2 km from Stresa, however you cannot reach it by foot. There is a bus going to Stresa each hour and coming back, so is easy to reach the town. Just accros the street there is a beach were you can relax and play(for kids). Breakfast is delicios. We enjoyed our time here and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all!

It's a great hotel!! However, if you do not drive it is quite a walk into Stressa. So a taxi is needed it costs roughly 15€. You do get the most amazing views. Breakfast is very simple but you have a wide variety of continental options. No hot breakfast options.

Beautifully perched on a promontory with view over Lake Major. It's best to have your breakfast under the morning sun on the terrace overlooking the lake. Renato impeccable landlord assisted by his young and friendly nephew the b & b offers a delightful view of Lake Maggiore .. I really enjoyed the guided tour of the main garden with 120 types of varieties of plants and flowers ... I just have to recommend it Donatella from Vicenza

Excellent location, nice and quite clean place, the owner very kind, but on the booking it was written breakfast in the room, instead you have to go to a nearby bar and you can only take what they say. The price is good, not counting the extra money we had to spend on breakfast.

Good bed & breakfast for location and parking (even if there is very little space, maximum 2 parking spaces being tight). A little old-fashioned furniture, especially the bathroom, breakfast included at a nearby bar with croissants and cappuccino, nothing more. 3 stars you deserve, 3 and a half stars if there were the right, but I don't mind for 4!

Many things at the lake have stopped in time some 40 years ago, also this hotel. The telephone next to the bed probably soon needs a description for guests to remember what it was once used for. Beyond that the staff and management is helpful and caring and comfy common areas and a beautiful garden invite for a stroll or even some work if needed. Internet spotty in the rooms. Our room was very clean. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good too. I really liked the 19th-century style of the hall and the dining room. The relax area and the garden outside is beautiful! I enjoyed my stay at Hotel du Parc.

Excellent place to stay for visiting Stresa and the lake. Hotel was full of character and met our requirements. The selection for breakfast was more than adequate. The owner and staff very friendly and helpful. The only possible negative point was the railway at the back of the hotel but that did not spoil our stay.

No service and can hear noise from trains passing which disturbed sleep. Do not stay in the annex building. It has no elevator and you have to walk pass a gravel path. Our stay at the Hotel Villa Paradiso exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect place to stay for our wedding guests. Our group of 18 just loved everything about it. The tourist menu is great value at €16 for 3 courses. It's a bit old fashioned but service was good.

Lovely hotel in Stresa. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and it's spotlessly clean. Food in the restaurant good (we stayed half board) with nice simple home-cooked food, usually a fish and meat choice. Breskfast a decent spread of bread, cheese, meat, cereal, fruit etc. and an egg boiler. Room 11 is large, comfortable bed, although wi-fi weak to the point of useless there and lots of TV channels...

Good food with quick service. Communication was difficult but that didnt take away from the good food. Its a bit on the expensive side but it tastes pretty good :)

Food is fresh and tasty. Their pasta dishes are very well prepared. Their specialty is a gnocchi dish: aubergine made gnocchi with fresh tomato and basil. Delicious! Staff is welcoming, friendly and always willing to help.

I recommend this hotel. I stayed for a few nights around a friends wedding and even though it's a tiny bit 'Allo Allo', it's got its heart in the right place. Lovely little bar, tasty breakfast, ideal location and charming.

The attitude of the hotel owners was almost unbelievably good! They we trying hard to advice you where to go, what to see, what tours to buy etc. And their advices were not for profit, they never asked you to mention their names or something - they simply wanted you to enjoy their area.

Hotel is ok for the price. The owner is very friendly. No air conditioning and what we did not enjoy was that each time we went out, the owners came in the room (more than once a day). Otherwise very central to the nice places of Stresa.

Hotel stay: Very pleasant reception! We stayed in quite a normal older room, pretty clean, comfy, good for a short stay, don't expect luxury. For October weather it was fine. We didn't try the restaurant.

We went to this restaurant on our first day in Italy.. Great start for our vacation!! The pizza was very good- The waiters were all very nice and even though our italian isn't even close to good, we could communicate well with them!! All in all a wonderful restaurant!

This place is underrated. Owned and operated by a very nice couple, with great cuisine and rooms that are just fine. Incredibly good value for the little money it costs, including breakfast with homemade cakes.

Kind of old-school style european hotel - but in a good way. Staff was freindly and the hotel is very well located for restaurants and ferry trips. A moderate walk down the hill from the train station. Some rooms require walking up stairs and this can be tiring for older folks. The low price reflects lack of fancy style, but it is clean and well run.

The rooms are functional. Bathroom OK. No fridge. Breakfast was good. Location is excellent. Unfortunately my room had no view just a window looking out onto a brick wall.
