We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Milano, its quite charming. However not the most luxurious, the AC was a bit noisy and the bed a bit too soft, but for the price I think it's quite good. They have a lovely terrace, they do offer a great selection of wines and the staff is very nice and friendly.

Great lake side hotel though a little dated. Room was adequate with a few issues such as no shower head bracket so get used to showering one handed! Large crack which has split wallpaper from ceiling to floor on one wall and discoloured wallpaper on opposite wall as though been wet. We stayed here three days last week. It was wonderful. We got an upgrade of the room, which was a very nice surprise. The location is very beautiful, with its own terrace overlooking the lake. The menu is a bit confusing. There are some dishes with lake fish, various proposals with Norwegian salmon, meat and some first courses. We tasted an appetizer with crunchy onion rings and herring, really good. The first pleasant but nothing special. Good lake fish. Average prices.

Not the best choice for people that look for new and modern furniture but food, drinks and service is one of the best place I have ever been. The sight of the valley is breathless!

In a beautiful area super close to lake maggirore, a short bus ride away from stresa where you can catch a ferry to isola madre, isola bella and isola pescatori. Mauro was lovely and a great host!! The breakfast was delicious with a large variety. Tutto benne!!

What can I say ... it's like feeling at home, even more so. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Delightful garden where you can enjoy a good breakfast. From the rooms you can enjoy an excellent view of the lake. A stone's throw from Stresa. A huge thank you to Mauro the landlord for his sympathy and help on how to get around Lake Maggiore.

We had a really nice stay and highly recommend this hotel! The receptionists are super friendly. The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, with perfect view on the lake. We also really liked the breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast had a great variety, every day different cakes (freshly made) were served. We can also recommend their offer to go for a 3 course dinner at one of the islands.

Very nice accomodation. 2 km from Stresa, however you cannot reach it by foot. There is a bus going to Stresa each hour and coming back, so is easy to reach the town. Just accros the street there is a beach were you can relax and play(for kids). Breakfast is delicios. We enjoyed our time here and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all!

It's a great hotel!! However, if you do not drive it is quite a walk into Stressa. So a taxi is needed it costs roughly 15€. You do get the most amazing views. Breakfast is very simple but you have a wide variety of continental options. No hot breakfast options.

Beautifully perched on a promontory with view over Lake Major. It's best to have your breakfast under the morning sun on the terrace overlooking the lake. Excellent location, nice and quite clean place, the owner very kind, but on the booking it was written breakfast in the room, instead you have to go to a nearby bar and you can only take what they say. The price is good, not counting the extra money we had to spend on breakfast.

Good bed & breakfast for location and parking (even if there is very little space, maximum 2 parking spaces being tight). A little old-fashioned furniture, especially the bathroom, breakfast included at a nearby bar with croissants and cappuccino, nothing more. 3 stars you deserve, 3 and a half stars if there were the right, but I don't mind for 4!

We really loved the location of this hotel- on a quiet edge of old town and within walking distance of the train station, wonderful restaurants, the ferry, and more. A lovely, quaint hotel with very friendly front of desk staff. Very conveniently located, and the train line isn't loud enough in the night to wake you. The continental buffet breakfast is good, and rooms are clean - only criticism is the mattresses are uncomfortable!

We are in the 60-70 age bracket. We are in Stresa in one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. For me I enjoy connecting with people and I found all the staff at Hotel du Parc to be most friendly. It is a high point to end my love affair with Italy. We had the most fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms have the most fantastic views and we had 3 balconies to choose from. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay in a great location close to ferry (3 mins walk) and center (5 mins walk).

The scenery was simply breathtaking and staff welcomed us with open arms. We didn’t have any complaints during our stay. I was one of the first to stay in the Sempione after its remodeling, and it is wonderful. Everything brand new, elegant and comfortable. The view from the terrace is unbelievable, and the managers and staff are delightful -- with a real eye for detail. Would definitely go back... soon!

Food is fresh and tasty. Their pasta dishes are very well prepared. Their specialty is a gnocchi dish: aubergine made gnocchi with fresh tomato and basil. Delicious! Staff is welcoming, friendly and always willing to help.

I recommend this hotel. I stayed for a few nights around a friends wedding and even though it's a tiny bit 'Allo Allo', it's got its heart in the right place. Lovely little bar, tasty breakfast, ideal location and charming.

The attitude of the hotel owners was almost unbelievably good! They we trying hard to advice you where to go, what to see, what tours to buy etc. And their advices were not for profit, they never asked you to mention their names or something - they simply wanted you to enjoy their area.

Hotel is ok for the price. The owner is very friendly. No air conditioning and what we did not enjoy was that each time we went out, the owners came in the room (more than once a day). Otherwise very central to the nice places of Stresa.

We’ve been here for just one night, unfortunately. It was great stay. Spacious and clean room with good air conditioner. Convenient bathroom. Excellent location, it is in the center and a few steps from the lakefront and the pier. It is a little bit noisy outside, especially early in the morning. If it happen to be in Stresa again, We will definitely come back!

Excellent location, right in the center and a stone's throw from the pier where boats leave for the islands; very spacious and clean room and bathroom; the air conditioner in cooling mode is very noisy; a sign should be placed indicating how to select the silent function for the night! The lighting needs to be reviewed: that of the room is insufficient and the timing of the light along the corridor...

Room is clean, and great location is the city centre. If you stop by in Stresa for one night it’s okay. But nothing more, no charm and lots of noise in the morning.

Hotel stay: Very pleasant reception! We stayed in quite a normal older room, pretty clean, comfy, good for a short stay, don't expect luxury. For October weather it was fine. We didn't try the restaurant.

We went to this restaurant on our first day in Italy.. Great start for our vacation!! The pizza was very good- The waiters were all very nice and even though our italian isn't even close to good, we could communicate well with them!! All in all a wonderful restaurant!

This place is underrated. Owned and operated by a very nice couple, with great cuisine and rooms that are just fine. Incredibly good value for the little money it costs, including breakfast with homemade cakes.
