It has been literary 35 years I've been going with my family to "La Francesca" and it never disappoints. From the stunning location, to the easy facilities and last but definitely not least the great service. A team of friendly locals ready to help you at any moment. I stayed here in July 2020 in the post-pandemic period so I can't judge 100% eg the breakfast which inevitably had to be packaged. I think the low grades are related to the old management, which I don't know. I am giving them the benefit of doubt. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. Location is okay, although it's a bit much walking up and down a lot of stairs to get to and from town. We had room 49 at the back, which probably had not been used for a while as it was damp and smelly. The room is small and very dark. The hotel is Very nicely decorated in Indian-asian style. The view is great and it's not too far away from the train station bonassola, 10 minutes walk. The employees are friendly and the breakfasts is good, fresh fruits, salad leaves, sausages, egg, bread, pastries etc.

Friendly, uncomplicated and a great view of the sea. Bicycles can be borrowed from the hotel. Room is well equipped, has everything you need. Free parking directly at the building. We will be back!

Excellent stay with a location by the beach, perfect for discovering the Cinque Terre (downtown Bonassola with access to the train station in less than 10min). The hotel is very nice and very clean. Special mention to Benedice for his kindness and impeccable service. Go there with your eyes closed.

It was nice and quiet stay. Based on the reviews we were worried about the dinner but it was actually great. If you get a chance to eat homemade pesto it's even better ! The only downside are beds and pillows. Not very comfortable.

Very good place to stay, nice rooms, good food, lovely garden with nice pool and view, friendly helpful and flexible staff. Good starting point for hiking. To drive down to the beach it takes around 13 minutes.

Nice, secluded spot, quite charming. The rooms are sparsely appointed, and no A/C, which was needed on our particular visit. Door to the bathroom didn't close. Friendly staff though.

The staff is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. A bit on the expensive side considering you must travel up a gravel road on the side of a mountain and the Internet is virtually nonexistent. Nice pool but not kid friendly as there is not a spot where they can stand up. Even adults can't stand in it without being fully submerged.

Beautiful place in the mountains but very close to the beach and Cinque Terre. The family who runs the hotel and kitchen are very nice, friendly and helpful and gave us a wonderful stay! Thanks for the great week!
