Quite unique, located in the hills just 5 minutes from the edge of Levanto. Very peaceful. On lots of levels so you need to be good climbing stairs. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here and we can highly recommend Hotel Al Terra di Mare. The location in Levanto is perfect to explore all the Cinque Terre villages with ease. The room was excellent and the atmosphere and staff exceeded our expectations.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly, helpful and happy to accommodate our requests. We purchased the breakfast when we booked our rooms and it was very good. It did not disappoint.the bed was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dora. If we ever get the opportunity to come back to Levanto Italy, we would definitely stay there again.

Very Oldfashioned hotel, It was like the time stood still since 1960. But still a genuin hotell and the cleaning was perfect!

Great place to stay Fantastic apartment for a large family, clean and comfortable and very spacious, very close to the railway station, boat station, beach, restaurants and shops. Some rooms have good views but not if you are in the back. The room off the lobby is super loud. You can hear when everyone arrives and it is also close to where breakfast is held so you can't sleep in if you want to. Good breakfast and clean facilities. Beds were comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Excellent "out of the way" hotel. Easily drivable with a beautiful setting in the forest. Excellent breakfast and dinner available on site. Owners were willing to share a perking pass with us that allowed us to park for no charge at the train station in Levanto (10 minute drive) and from there we explored the Cinq Terre region. I like to choose characterful hotels and was a little disappointed with aspects of Hotel Palazzo Vannoni, perhaps my expectations were just inaccurate. The painted ceilings are modern and the rooms large and minimalistic, plain white walls and very modern furniture. There isn’t a communal area/lounge. There were lots of staff to help, both manager and receptionists during the day - no staff at night...

In A fantastic location, less than 10 minutes from Levanto centre along the walking path towards Monterosso located, you can hardly get a better view over the sea. The hotel offers a very good breakfast and a handy shuttle service to Levanto. The staff is very helpful. I would give it 5 stars if only the room had been a little larger and with a nicer bathroom (shower a bit too small for comfort)

Great little hotel. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were very very clean. Breakfast was nice with a great selection of baked goods and pastry, cereals, cold cuts and cheese and even scrambled eggs and bacon. On the top floor they have a cute little patio that is perfect for a glass of wine.

We loved our stay here. Everyone extremely nice and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Plus we had a private terrace that we used every night. I really loved this cute hotel. A great location, easy access to the heart of Levanto. And everything we needed for a 3 day stay. We could get the train or ferry to Cinque Terre towns and also enjoyed getting to Bonassola and Porto Venere while staying in this gorgeous part of Italy. Staff were very, very helpful and our room was tidied everyday.

This is truly an amazing property in the mountains above Levanto. How amazing to be above where birds fly and just hear them sing along with church bells. What a fun way to access this property via a monorail. This is a beautifully renovated farm house from way back with a touch of modern features. The whole staff was truly wonderful. We were offered a concierge service a few weeks before our arrival to plan out dinners and activities, this was a huge help. Levanto is just as lovely as the main villages in Cinque terre and it's so easy to travel by train.

Gosh this was a lovely surprise. Beautiful old style villa with lovely grounds. The staff especially the man who I assume is the owner were lovely and helpful. Parking was above with an elevator to bring down luggage. We had a suite on the ground floor with two bedrooms, large lounge dining kitchen and bathroom. The hotel is old and everything smells of old stuff. The reception is a poor booth with sn elderly guy sitting behind a counter. The bed linen are terrible. Just like in the elderly-people’s home. The foods at breakfast are limited. If something runs out (e.g. tomatoes) don’t expect them to be brought again. The hotel’s photos are misleading.
