Well - you may give it 3 or 4 stars - but I am going to give it 5 because it's a nice place for Italy... and Carlos and his family really take care to make sure you are happy. The rooms were clean and cleaned again very early in the morning. We had great breakfasts in the morning and a great dinner our first night there. This great hotel well exceeds expectations. I think I could comfortably say that it is the best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are large and light. The breakfast is limited but what is there is excellent quality and the service and greeting we received every morning was just perfect. The hotel is central placed. The rooms are nice, well equipped and clean. The personal is kindly and are more than happy to help you. The breakfast is more than enough. If you add a free parking place, you get the whole picture!

Some rooms have good views but not if you are in the back. The room off the lobby is super loud. You can hear when everyone arrives and it is also close to where breakfast is held so you can't sleep in if you want to. Good breakfast and clean facilities. Beds were comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Had a beer here after a walk from Levanto. Chatted to a happy French guest. Fabulous views, close to Levanto, lovely pool and lovely and quiet too. Certainly looks like a great place for a getaway or even a wedding reception.

In A fantastic location, less than 10 minutes from Levanto centre along the walking path towards Monterosso located, you can hardly get a better view over the sea. The hotel offers a very good breakfast and a handy shuttle service to Levanto. The staff is very helpful. I would give it 5 stars if only the room had been a little larger and with a nicer bathroom (shower a bit too small for comfort)

Best hotel I’ve stayed at for a long time. Best quality price ratio. The hotel is quite an old building and they kept the old antic vibe which gives it a unique character. Since we had a rental car and heard that parking is hard at CT villages we booked the hotel in Levanto, Otel Abetaia: it was in the woods and such a delight. This place is tucked away in the countryside. Beautiful drive up! We visited only for pesto making demo and dinner and it was beyond words fabulous! The hosts were so gracious and kind and made the evening so special. Their restaurant ambience was very romantic. Great find!

Wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the very centre of this little charming village, but on a conveniently quiet spot. The rooms/suites are spacious and beautifully renovated. Highly recommend this hotel!! Great location and the rooms are beautiful with very cool high ceiling. The best thing about the hotel is the extremely friendly and service minded staff. They gave us us so many valuable recommendations on what to eat and see. Also, when I forgot my necklace in our room they sent it by mail to Sweden.

Go to this hotel if you stay in Levanto! Great location and Alberto the host is very welcoming, gave us the best tips and advices, he even gave us a card to park for free in town. We stayed here for one night and were welcomed by a couple very kind and outgoing people. The owner was very sweet and talkative so we felt very welcome! She knew we were tourists so right away she started showing us good places to eat, the easiest way to the beach etc. You really feel at home when staying here and get a lot of value for the money. The hotel is very conveniently located about halfway between the train station and the city center. Levanto is a bigger town than any of the 5 towns so you have more options for food. Stayed there for 3 nights. The location is great - walking distance to restaurants, shops, beach and also the train station. There is a CONAD supermarket right next to it which is very convenient. Also, great place to stay in Levanto and visit Cinque terre by train or ferry.

Great location, sea and train station are 5-10 min walking distance. Rooms were clean and cozy. Did not get a parking place inside their private car lot, but was given a permit to park in city parking for free. Breakfast was great, many things to choose from. The only downside would be the price which was a bit steep just for overnight stay.

Great little hotel. Our room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The room and the bathroom were very very clean. Breakfast was nice with a great selection of baked goods and pastry, cereals, cold cuts and cheese and even scrambled eggs and bacon. On the top floor they have a cute little patio that is perfect for a glass of wine.

We loved our stay here. Everyone extremely nice and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Plus we had a private terrace that we used every night. Breakfast is fresh and has all the usuals. It's served in a beautiful garden. Another big plus is that they have parking for 15 euros a night. I was last weekend with my children at this hotel to relax on Saturday in Levanto, and go to the 5 terre on Sunday. The owner Massimo was super helpful. We loved our time in Levanto and especially loved Villa Valentina. The rooms were very nice but what really left the impression was the people and of course the breakfast! This was the 12th time we have visited Villa Valentina. It's truly a hidden gem. Paula and her staff could not be more welcoming. The rooms and the gardens are beautiful. Don't miss the best breakfasts ever and pizza from the outdoor brick oven!

Such a hidden gem. Beautiful rooms and garden. Chicken coup and a veggie garden, lovely gazebo and outdoor kitchen for breakfast. The owners are so sweet and helpful. We were offered a concierge service a few weeks before our arrival to plan out dinners and activities, this was a huge help. Levanto is just as lovely as the main villages in Cinque terre and it's so easy to travel by train.

I stayed two nights in this small and characteristic hotel in the historic center of Levanto. The structure (a stone's throw from the beach) is convenient, clean, well-kept and comfortable. All the Staff proved to be extremely helpful, competent and affable from the first contact. The breakfast offers excellent fresh fruit as well as sweet and savory. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights on or tour down the coast. What a nice and peaceful place. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Surprised to hear that it’s rated only 2 stars because I would have guessed its at least 4. The dinner was excellent, it was a gourmet 5 star meal. The views in all angles are amazing. Went only to the restaurant (not the hotel). They only do tasting menus (the website is somewhat outdated and shows a la carte options). We had a three course + dessert tasting menu with wine pairings. All the food was delicious and the wines were great.
