Small beautiful hotel, famous for its food and has a high level of service.
Location: 300 m from the historic centre of Bormio and 600 m from the ski lifts. A ski bus stop nearby (10 m from the entrance). A private hotel Shuttle runs to the ski lift. Distances from airports: Bergamo – 142 km, Verona – 223 km.
Consists of one 4-storey building.
The hotel has 50 rooms.
When you check into a hotel, you must pay the tourist tax.

Rooms are clean, but the lowest priced tier rooms are quite small. Walls are very thin. I can hear my neighbors talk and flush toilets. We weren't able to fit our bikes in the room. Though there's a ski room for bike storage, it does not have bike racks or ability to lock individual bikes. The service is okay. I booked a room with single double bed but was given a room with two singles, has repeatedly asked to make it into a double but seems like that got lost in translation... The breakfast selection is on par with other hotels in the area, and imo, nothing special. Spa is only for free during certain hours in our package and as we are usually out cycling did not get a chance to enjoy that. I did not feel that this hotel was particularly friendly to cyclists. Might be biased bc we got free bidons at the previous one 😂.

Enjoy this stay: great breakfast, with fresh juices, soymilk, fresh boiled eggs to your liking. Too much actually. Wellness was great too.

As others wrote here, the hotel isn't that nice as on their photos.
Family room was spacious and all right. However, shower had stains on it and a jacuzzi bath didn't work well.
Spa was nice overall, but sometimes certain saunas were out of order and sometimes they started pool cleaning before it closed for visitors.
Breakfasts were great. I appreciated the staff working in the buffet.
Now negatives.
It's written on their website that they have a restaurant but in reality it didn't work and they didn't know when it'll open.
It's written on their website that they have a bike pump and some tools in the bike room but they didn't. I asked for a pump and it appeared there after 2 days.
It's written that they have a kids room. IRL, It is a room in a basement without windows with old, grubby and broken toys. Such a disappointment. After taking a look at it we didn't want to go there with my kid.
The most annoying part is a dog living in the hotel. I don't think it's really aggressive but it chases small kids on the ground floor and barks on them! It gets in very close contact with kids and then starts barking. Such a nonsense! When I loudly complained about it, a man working there told me that it's his dog and it just wants to play. He even didn't say sorry! He sounded like it was our fault that we were afraid of a barking dog at the hotel reception.
After all, I could give it 2 or 3 stars but the hotel stuff doesn't care about their reputation at all. Why should I? During our check out our dialog was like:
-- Did you like everything during your stay?
-- More or less, but definitely not everything.
-- You're paying with card?
Such a neglect to guests.

Position, view and facility were very good. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was superb, high quality food with a lot of choice. The room was big and soundproof.
Two drawbacks: the bed was hard in my opinion, I'm used to more soft beds in hotels usually. The other one was a minor one, the bathroom sink had a small defect on the discharge pipe.

a very nice hotel, fantastic value for money with some very nice views. staff were very pleasant and helpful. would stay again

Old dated room, with very thin walls. Even heard our neighbours making 'love'. Very hard beds. Breakfast was ok.

wonderful child friendly place with not only a swiming pool but a room full of toys for kids .. other thn this place has fantastic gym sauna and massage place too .. i love the atic rooms with balcony

Very friendly personel, services above standard. Special thanks to the manager with the helpfull biker attitude. Hotel clean, breakefast very good.

We started our honeymoon here and loved it!!!The spa facilities are perfect and the staff is very helpful.Our room was very spacious :) Breakfast was very nice and there was a really good choice and plenty to eat. It's a shame the restaurant was closed while we stayed so can't say anything about it. Sally, the manager's dog was a delight too.
