Palazzo Doglio

Visited 9/16/24. Beautiful hotel in convenient location near city center and restaurants and shops. The staff was AMAZING, friendly, welcoming and very accommodating! When we first arrived it was very late and we were hungry but most restaurants were closed. The front desk gentleman was soo nice that he offered to order us food from a food delivery app! That is above and beyond service and we were so grateful for his help! And then when we wanted to add one additional night to our stay, the woman at the front desk took the time to work with us and gave us the best rate in our same room. We were very appreciative and grateful. The room was beautiful. Wish we would’ve had a balcony but maybe next time!

From the moment we arrived at Palazzo Doglio, we were blown away by the warm hospitality and stunning ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms were immaculate, beautifully designed and offered breathtaking views of the courtyard with a water fountain in the center.

The restaurant (Osteria del Forte) was equally impressive. Every meal was a culinary masterpiece, with fresh ingredients and exquisite flavors. The service was attentive, making us feel truly pampered. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, each dining experience was nothing short of perfection.

Special shout-out to Silvio, Francisco and Daniel for their personalized recommendations and exceptional service. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway!

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and an extra night unexpectedly due to my partner being unwell when we had to reschedule our flight and extended one more stay.

Hotel staff are amazing from the receptionist at the check in desk who kindly arranged our room earlier than the usual check-in time as we arrived just before 11 am from London and all the hotel restaurant bar staff were extremely friendly and attentive when we were down for breakfast and afternoon drinks.

Both rooms we had were excellent and the prestige one had an outdoor terrace with a great seating area for our extended stay.

Taxis were arranged for us when we were about into town and on our way back to the airport. Overall, it's an excellent hotel to stay in when visiting Cagliari!

Beautiful hotel. All the facilities you need are there. Gym is the best hotel gym I’ve ever been to.
Location cannot be more perfect. Everything is within 5-20 minutes walk. Great and highly rated restaurants around.

We enjoyed the room. Very peaceful. Had great sleep. Bathroom is spacious.

There is a beautiful SPA set up including a pool or more like a big-jacuzzi. It’s lovely - you get massaged by water pressure points. The carefully positioned water jets allow you massage your back etc. Please note that the pool is part of the SPA and comes at extra cost.

We had a small thing that was resolved very quickly and I wanted to thank Fois Maria Clotilde for her professionalism and amazing customer service skills. She made our stay in this hotel so much better. She demonstrated incredible service recovery which was much appreciated.

Palazzo Doglio is an Oasis in the enchanting city of Cagliari!!! It truly is a Palace. The retail around the courtyard is diverse and first class. The hotel rooms are mint, beautifully furnished and appointed. Our mattress was one of the best we’ve ever slept on. The front desk staff and concierge (s) were knowledgeable and helpful. We loved the underground parking and breakfast service. They even made oatmeal upon request.

Where do I start? The hotel is not bad in general. Rooms are nice, beds are comfy and breakfast is really good. Problems start when you want something done: taxi ordered, additional blanket or double bed separated when you asked for two singles making the reservation. Stuff will give you false information, won’t come back or just disappear.
Might be worth it, might not :D

PS. Rooms could be a bit cleaner. Some hair in the drawer, a bit of dust etc.

Very comfortable bed. We stayed in the Deluxe room but regretted it when we saw how bad the view was (and it also smelled like fried food when we opened the window). Recommend upgrading to Prestige room to get the courtyard view, it's a whole different experience. Only complaint is that it was pretty noisy, especially when the cleaning staff was banging around in the room next to us, so avoid this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful getaway in your room (you won't find it here).
