Hotel Regina Margherita

Located in the heart of Cagliari the friendly front desk staff are what made this hotel a memorable one for us. Roberta, Joel and Lorenzo in particular were all very welcoming and helpful. They helped us maximise our 3 day visit and accommodated all our requests. Transfers were organised, day trips arranged and overall good recommendations were given for things to do and places to eat at.

Very friendly and efficient staff, very comfortable rooms and an excellent location: our five day stay in Cagliari was most pleasant in no small part because of this welcoming hotel.
We really liked the ample, excellent quality breakfast where you can order your coffee drinks individually and exactly how you want them. This is rare these days when hotels rely on subpar automatic coffee machines, usually with long lines.

Attended a conference. Didn't stay either can't comment on the rooms aside from the conference room which was great for a 75-100 person conference. Had AV abilities to live stream which many places this size don't. Would definitely recommend for a conference venue. Lots to do for families and delegates in the area.

Recently renovated, the interior and rooms are elegant, beautiful and comfortable. It is perfectly situated for walking around Cagliari. The bar is well stocked and the bar staff presentable and helpful. Breakfast is a treat - fresh and wholesome with the occasional wicked chocolate cake. As a conference venue, it was excellent. Setting up the facilities and arranging for the food was made easy and the staff tolerated many changes. The price belies the high quality - it should have cost much more! But it was the reception staff that were outstanding. I had several personal issues and they came to the rescue calmly and effectively. Would give the hotel 10 stars if I could.

As part of a larger group, I booked 4 rooms for a week long stay in Cagliari. This hotel is excellently situated, close to both the marina and also bars, restaurants and shops. I noticed that that pilots also stay here, so thats a good sign of quality!

The rooms are well appointed, staff and friendly, and the breakfast is comprehensive. The only downside was that the air conditioning seems to be stuck in OFF, which meant a weeklong sleep at 27 degrees

A small & excellantly located hotel. The view from the room was not nice. Restaurants & cafe were very close at hand. Easily accessible. The staff is friendly & makes an extra effort to assist. Rooms are small and toilets smaller.
A good hotel for a short stay while on business.

We have mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand, as a 4-star structure, it felt underwhelming. On the other hand, there are not big faults, just a few improvements. The room had a window opening basically on a wall, not the best even though it did not matter as we only had to sleep before an early flight. It was clean and big enough but floor panels needed some maintenance. Also, A/C is very effective but a bit noisy. The bed was really comfortable. As this is a business hotel, it was surprising that we struggle to find enough wall plugs for charging phones and laptops on both sides of the bed. We did not feel really comfortable with the person at the front desk we talked to when requesting the morning alarm. He had an attitude we did not like and found him not being very professional. Moreover, they are not very proactive when dealing with information, you have to ask all the details yourself as they seem to just reply to the specific questions. Overall it's a nice place, but I am pretty sure I won't choose it again.
