An absolute dream of a place to stay. Staff is beyond friendly. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. The hotel is situated 1 block away from the beach. This is your home away from home. Extremely safe. It's perfect in the summer because you're seconds away from jumping into the beautiful sea. And for winter it's the best place to stay for a digital nomad. Wifi works great. I would give 10 stars if I could

I spent a week in September and I had a very good time; good cleanliness of the rooms, excellent cuisine by Mrs. Luisa, all plentiful and homemade. We had booked a suite. What we didn’t expect was to have a room with a window facing a wall ,no balcony but a dark room, which felt very depressing. La Settima Luna was incredible. The hosts were welcoming and wonderful. The hotel is a little oasis on the island, and just relaxing on the roof terrace, in the naturally heated pool was blissful! We recently stayed for two weeks and the opinion expressed is the result of positive events (excellent location, very kind and friendly staff) but also of negative elements among which in the first place undoubtedly stands out a breakfast poor in quality and quantity. Fabulous location. Very nice and well-kept building. Family run but very professional. Enjoy your breakfast. If I had to find a flaw it is only the wifi not present in all the rooms. Our room, the Sagittarius, although not using wifi, is located in an area with a lot of privacy and with a very large and panoramic patio.

Fabulous location !! The room has a beautiful terrace overlooking the small port of Pignataro. From the latter you can enjoy a hearty breakfast admiring the island of Vulcano and the southern end of the island of Lipari. The owners are very kind and very professional. Stayed here for 5 nights as part of an organised group tour of the Aeolian Islands. A very pleasant hotel located to the rear of the coast road down a short alley and about 200m or so from the hydrofoil port. Being at the back it was quiet and pleasantly isolated on not subject to traffic noise. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and breakfast choice was quite adequate though not very extensive...

We would give the hotel 5 stars but the restaurant left quite a lot to desire. The facilities were great, though, and the location couldn't have been better.

Just a few minutes walk up from the port of Lipari to the hotel. It has great views and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is European style with a selection of cereals, pastries, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese. Can't forget the coffee ! The rooms are modern and contain all the usual furniture. WiFi throughout the premises. Lovely relaxing pool overlooking the whole bay.

Great place to stay, even after 6 years!

The building is nicely and located near the porta, the rooms are clean. We waited until 2:15 pm for our room. We ask to be more quickly (we have one children and one infant) but our request was ignored. The breakfast are very poor. We found poor variety of food. We'll not return.

Residence Acanto offers pleasant no nonsense accommodations in a perfect location for walking Lipari. The breakfasts are extraordinary with both English and European choices. The staff is super helpful in meeting dietary restrictions and for sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to return.

Giuseppe welcomed us in his hotel in the warmest way possible. He even brought us to a viewpoint to watch the sunset. His recommendations were also spot on. We stayed in a nice and spacious quadruple room, the only flaw, the lack of a fridge, however compensated by the staff who provided us with a fridge on the ground floor. Staff always helpful and kind. Excellent location, close to a supermarket, the center and transport links. Good and varied breakfast. I recommend it for both short and long stays. :)

Top for the service is the welcome. Francesco came to pick us up at the port. Before check-in time, he already let us use the swimming pool served with a drink and coffee. We stayed 5 nights, I'm not sure what to say. First time we saw Francesco we felt welcome. This is a true place to relax and forget your stress. They help you with everything you need. Some reviews say that you need to ask breakfast but they just keep everything fresh. Newton has an unforgettable personality and is the kindest I have ever met.
