Solid spot but more as a home Base to explore the island than a destination. Walkable from ferry with ease. We had issues with our keycards often but staff always quite nice. Rooms are good enough and the place is kept very clean.

This is a beautiful location. Nice view across the harbor. Friendly staff. Breakfast could have more offer and better taste. And PLEASE, get rid of the background music.

We would give the hotel 5 stars but the restaurant left quite a lot to desire. The facilities were great, though, and the location couldn't have been better.

Just a few minutes walk up from the port of Lipari to the hotel. It has great views and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is European style with a selection of cereals, pastries, yoghurt, cold meats and cheese. Can't forget the coffee ! The rooms are modern and contain all the usual furniture. WiFi throughout the premises. Lovely relaxing pool overlooking the whole bay.

Lovely place to stay, amazing view and access to the ocean with great recommendations for the tours. Most of the staff were super super friendly, some others unfortunately … quite the opposite.

This place is simply marvelous! You can just dive into the water right below the hotel, and instantly see colorful and exotic fish. The friendly staff helped us with everything we asked. Definitely worth a stay!

Excellent and lovely place with all facilities you need to enjoy your vacation. The hotel rooms are nice, there is a big restaurant and a great pool. Food is amazing. The hotel is perfectly located a little bit outside town (10 minute walk) and up hill so you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, mountains and town. The pictures definitely not make enough justice to the place as is way nicer. Rooms are spacious, quiet and with nice terraces and balconies. A good hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean, the sea view is great, Good quality breakfast food and extremely bad coffee. Service friendly and efficient. Only minus: Very long and steep walk to town, plus a high staircase without handrail leading up to hotel. I would not return as for me that was a problem that disturbed my stay.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room, large terrace, quite convenient location, even if it's all uphill from the port and Marina. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not up to the standard of a 4-star hotel, poor in terms of both sweet and savory food which was really poor.

Fantastic hotel, from the kindness of the staff to the splendor of the rooms! The swimming pool and whirlpool are splendid. Cleanliness is certainly their strong point along with the location, given that it is just a 5 minute walk from the centre.

Staff at the desk very friendly and helpful.. except for the morning staff in charge of breakfast. The presence of the swimming pool where you can eat salads or menus of the day for lunch is excellent. Very spacious room as is the bathroom with slightly retro furnishings.. .nn right in the center but convenient to Marina Corta port from which practically all excursions depart... far from the hydrofoil...

Excellent structure located 3/4 minutes from the pedestrian area and the marina. Staff courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is varied and adequate. The swimming pool is not large but usable. I do not assign the fifth star because the double room in which we stayed, certainly clean and dignified, is a little dated in the furnishings.

Very convenient hotel due to its strategic position, near the center for walking and near Marina Corta. All one step away. Small flaw is the swimming pool since from 16 it is always in the shade. Hotel with location and view from the room envied by all guests of other properties. A fantastic view of the gulf and with Vulcano in the background, visible even while staying in bed. We had a great time: impeccable service, very courteous staff and beautiful rooms with breathtaking views; unique "problem" the distance from the center so you have to organize yourself by taxi or bus .... but the view you can enjoy is worth the sacrifice !!!

Fabulous location. Very nice and well-kept building. Family run but very professional. Enjoy your breakfast. If I had to find a flaw it is only the wifi not present in all the rooms. Our room, the Sagittarius, although not using wifi, is located in an area with a lot of privacy and with a very large and panoramic patio.

Fabulous location !! The room has a beautiful terrace overlooking the small port of Pignataro. From the latter you can enjoy a hearty breakfast admiring the island of Vulcano and the southern end of the island of Lipari. The owners are very kind and very professional. All this is also associated with a meticulous cleaning !!

Top for the service is the welcome. Francesco came to pick us up at the port. Before check-in time, he already let us use the swimming pool served with a drink and coffee. The room was very comfortable and spotless. Super quiet. Well connected to the center and the various restaurants. There is a free shuttle to a beach in Canneto. Our stay here was amazing, location and view is top, very nice swimming pool. We had a very warm welcome with a refreshing drink or granite and fruit salad. We stayed 5 nights, I'm not sure what to say. First time we saw Francesco we felt welcome. This is a true place to relax and forget your stress. They help you with everything you need. Some reviews say that you need to ask breakfast but they just keep everything fresh. Newton has an unforgettable personality and is the kindest I have ever met. I'm going to miss this place till we come again.

Very nice view from the swimming pool, good breakfasts, extremely hospitable staff and the relaxing garden ...but a lots of very very very loud old fat germans who don't let you relax if they are at the pool.

We have been there at the end of the season, nevertheless the experience was great. We had a fantastic room and the personnel was extremely kind and useful. The hotel is located a bit out of the center but they have a free shuttle service to and from the port and the center, however we walked most of the times as it was near. Breakfast was good, only the fruit juices were a bit tasteless.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of friends and loved Borgo Eolie. The plus is the staff. Everyone is ultra friendly and very nice to satisfy every request. We stayed in a nice and spacious quadruple room, the only flaw, the lack of a fridge, however compensated by the staff who provided us with a fridge on the ground floor. Staff always helpful and kind. Excellent location, close to a supermarket, the center and transport links. Good and varied breakfast. I recommend it for both short and long stays. :)

Great place to stay, even after 6 years!

The building is nicely and located near the porta, the rooms are clean. We waited until 2:15 pm for our room. We ask to be more quickly (we have one children and one infant) but our request was ignored. The breakfast are very poor. We found poor variety of food. We'll not return.

I spent a week in September and I had a very good time; good cleanliness of the rooms, excellent cuisine by Mrs. Luisa, all plentiful and homemade. It's a very nice place with gorgeous sight on the ocean! The house itself is kind of rustical and has a very nice pool. The rooms are also nicely done with much love to the details. If you like cats (they have 13 ;) ), it's a lovely place to stay. The last 100 meters of the road are pretty tough, though, but a lot of fun ; )

The hotel offers a lot of facilities: we liked the little access to the sea, the location in Lipari but out of the crowded streets, the free shuttle they offer at arrival/departure, the shower facility that you can use after the checkout. We ate there 1 night and the food was very good. The staff was very kind. We will go back when in Lipari.

Top location. Very nice salt water pool overlooking the sea. Access to the ocean over stairs leading down from the pool with reclining chairs on rocks. Crystal clear water. Some small jelly fish with minimal sting.

The hotel is clean, it has elevators, nice breakfast and lunch. The staff is very nice and they are trained to communicate fine in English. The view from my room is amazing, even though it's not a luxury hotel, the view from the room or from the pool (sea water) makes you feel like royalty. The hotel also has access to the sea, it's not a beach but you can swim in the sea if that's your thing.

I love this place, you are close to the port and by 15 min walking you are in Garibaldi street. You have the sea just under your room and in the morning you can enjoy the sea view from the windows of your room. The plates are delicious and the staffs are nice and helpful. I will definitely come back to this place again and will recommend to anyone else.

This is probably the finest hotel in it's pricerange. The view, rooms and staff are all amazing and they will help you book vehicles of any kind for local prices.
