Where to stay in Cefalu

Brilliant hotel, the room was big and had a lovely view from the balcony. Meals were all delicious and staff were great. Only problem was how it was on the side of a hill and quite secluded. Coach ran regularly to Cefalù (the nearby town) which solved this problem. Swimming pool was FREEZING!!

An amazing hotel, so friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is no trouble for any of the staff to do anything for you. The bar staff are all excellent, especially bar manager Rosario. The entertainment team were exceptional, always ready to meet you with a smile and friendly face. Great food and drinks and in a beautiful setting, with easy access to cefalu . Such a beautiful hotel, the staff here are incredibly friendly and hospitable, it is more aimed towards Italian customers which is perfect to immerse yourself in the culture. However that being said they have written English and the staff are pretty good at it too. Its a 25 mins walk from the train station, so its not in the center of cefulu Room was big and ac worked well. Breakfast was basic and average. An excellent hotel on the north coast of the island. The old town is also nearby, about a 20-minute easy walk. The rooms are nice and clean because room service is regular every day. Professional,qualified and friendly staff. Huge thanks to everyone , especially Alessandro, who helped arrange gluten free meals for our coeliac son. The exterior with the swimming pool is nice and modern , the interior is outdated but very clean. The kids loved the music and dancing every night at the bar led by amazing animators. The overall environment of the hotel is good, with a swimming pool and a tennis court. It is located on the mountain, so it is relatively tiring to go back and forth. It is a 15-minute walk from the private beach. There is a bus to and from the beach, but there are fixed times and you cannot make a separate reservation. The room is not soundproof and the facilities are relatively old.

The service in the hotel's restaurants and lobby is also very good. Food quality is also good. There is a private beach, but it is on the other side of Cefalu old street. The hotel was in a beautiful location but not conveniently located to the Cefalù downtown. The shuttles they offer do not run during ‘off season,’ the children’s playground was not open/available, the food is very limited and the dinner quality was not what one would expect (especially for the price). As many places in centro storico in Cefalù, parking is central and you must walk to the hotel. They have an elevator and please remember to use it to visit their rooftop bar. Wonderful place but the pictures don’t do justice. It’s much prettier than what you see on the pictures. The staff were great. Hard to find with Google Maps as it takes you down the wrong path. The location is amazing and the beach is stunning. The only downside is the food as it’s touristy. Everything else was simply amazing.

Very quiet. Solid 3 star amenities. Pool and beach are more than adequate. Resort website says there is tennis but be advised that resort has a single tennis court that charges 15 euro an hour to utilize.

A lovely relaxing place , staff can't do enough for you, house staff clean bungalows everyday. Perfect spot over a quiet bay, recommend shoes for the rocky sea entry. Anybody with mobility issues will struggle with the hill side terrain. Restaurant at resort very good 2 behind it also fantastic. Walk into Cefalu again not for the faint hearted but rewarding once there.

Room was clean and spacious although trees next door blocked view somewhat but first floor seating area had fantastic views. Service was fine, would have improved with a coffee machine to help yourself at breakfast. The jewel here is the vanishing edge rooftop pool with an incredible view of Cefalu beyond! Our room was on the small side, but did have a comfortably sized enclosed shower (which is rare) and was very clean! There are multiple lounge areas indoors and out, and the decor is modern and colorful. FYI, parking in the downstairs garage can be TIGHT if the hotel is full. The hotel is located at Cefalu beach and also very close to the old city. Also it only takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the train station. Very convenient. But the hotel room is small, and lack of some basic stuff like water boiler and drinking cups in the room.

Amazing location and comfortable accommodations. The hotel is in need of some updates and renovations. In addition, the lido that the hotel is associated with, (Lido Peter Pan) has it's issues with customer service. They made it difficult to enjoy the beach with my family. I would return to the hotel but never the lido.

Palazzo Raho is in a perfect location for exploring Cefalu. Easy 15-minute walk from the train station - taxis are available, but definitely taking advantage of the short trip to the center with the prices they charge. The hotel is in an older building. This was a great place that we booked last minute. There is parking, it is confusing to find but the host directed us via video on WhatsApp! She also explained the area and made recommendations on where to go and what to do. This was awesome considering going to the beach was daunting from someone from another place.

We stayed 2 years in a row in different rooms but we LOVE the suite with a balcony and a view of the hill. Good sized balcony with lovely views of La Rocca, and very peaceful evenings can be spent here. A bar/shop next door for everyday needs takes away any hassles. Room was generous in size and the shower...

The beautiful sea, we swam with fish, an enchanting bay, with umbrellas and sunbeds in the shade of maritime pines and olive trees ... but to get there and back there is a very steep path that not everyone can do, imagine yourself in the hottest hours ! A bee goes up and down to facilitate, but at 18.30 the service ends and you are forced to leave the sea in the most beautiful hours ... noooo !!! Small...

Wonderful team, attractions and activities are great

I spent four days at Sporting Club in Cefalù and it was fantastic, the people were very kind and welcoming and the Sport Activities were well organised. I surely will come back there.
