Where to stay in Cefalu

Brilliant hotel, the room was big and had a lovely view from the balcony. Meals were all delicious and staff were great. Only problem was how it was on the side of a hill and quite secluded. Coach ran regularly to Cefalù (the nearby town) which solved this problem. Swimming pool was FREEZING!!

An amazing hotel, so friendly and the hotel is spotlessly clean. It is no trouble for any of the staff to do anything for you. The bar staff are all excellent, especially bar manager Rosario. The entertainment team were exceptional, always ready to meet you with a smile and friendly face. Great food and drinks and in a beautiful setting, with easy access to cefalu . I will definitely be back again

Such a beautiful hotel, the staff here are incredibly friendly and hospitable, it is more aimed towards Italian customers which is perfect to immerse yourself in the culture. However that being said they have written English and the staff are pretty good at it too. The entertainment is even translated it was such a wonderful experience with my family the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pools and baby dance

Great Place to be, beautiful views and good service, staff is helpful and caring. The rooms are clean and tidy, Air Con in good working order and well balanced, not too cold and not too hot, beds would be better with larger matrices than just 2 combined for one bed. Great hotel. Lovely food. Can be a mad rush for food buffet and breakfast. Kids club and entertainment mostly in Italian and French. And starts at 10, 9 for kids club so a little late. Rooms were spacious, but can hear neighbours in bathroom. Hotel has great bus connections to their beach and to Cefalu, parks outside bus/train station for Palermo. The views from the room was amazing. Definitely looked over the ocean. The pool was really nice, except a little dangerous to get in if you’re older as there are no hand rails. The music at the pool was awful. The same Oompa Loompa music on repeat for over an hour. And our room view was nice, but the bed was saggy. The breakfast was really good. Our patio sliding door lock was broken.

Good hotel for 3*. The rooms are spacious, high ceilings. Although noisy in the rooms facing the road. The furniture is a bit old, almost "vintage". Towels in the bathroom were all fine, like "waffle". Food for Breakfast is monotonous, but the dinners always Porojan new interesting and delicious dishes. Minus is the road-stairs to the promenade 104 steps down. Although it can bear, but clean sea nearby...

I like everything.The sea is excellent, really need to go down the stairs to the waterfront.On the beach there are few places purchased an umbrella and a couple of blankets and you loose tourists can bathe where you like.The next fruit on the street from farmers cheaply.The Breakfast is decent.

Great hotel with very friendly staff who can't help you enough. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are well cleaned every day. There's a huge range of food for breakfast and you can take lunches out to the private beach area on the front. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone stopping in Cefalu.

Really enjoyed our stay here! The location is excellent - a block from the beach clubs and very close to the grocery store. Really liked being a bit distant from the town but close enough to walk over. Service was great and the breakfast was always delicious. A very convenient hotel, close to dowtown and very clean. Breakfast could be a little better, there wasn't much fresh fruit for example. Reception staff was excellent, Dario offered us an excellent support, the best suggestions for a nice dinner and the most important places to go, to make the most of our fast visit to the beautiful Cefalu.

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Artemis Hotel in late September. We were very pleasantly surprised with our room, the breakfast buffet and the complementary cocktails for our first evening. The staff was terrific, and the location was great... easy walking distance to the beach and to the historic district. We highly recommend!

Wonderful place but the pictures don’t do justice. It’s much prettier than what you see on the pictures. The staff were great. Hard to find with Google Maps as it takes you down the wrong path. The location is amazing and the beach is stunning. The only downside is the food as it’s touristy. Everything else was simply amazing.

Very quiet. Solid 3 star amenities. Pool and beach are more than adequate. Resort website says there is tennis but be advised that resort has a single tennis court that charges 15 euro an hour to utilize.

A lovely relaxing place , staff can't do enough for you, house staff clean bungalows everyday. Perfect spot over a quiet bay, recommend shoes for the rocky sea entry. Anybody with mobility issues will struggle with the hill side terrain. Restaurant at resort very good 2 behind it also fantastic. Walk into Cefalu again not for the faint hearted but rewarding once there.

Beach is a longer walk away than I thought but the beach is very nice and it is included in the price to use the chairs there etc, as is the parking. The restaurant of the hotel serves excellent food in the evening.

Le calette is heaven! A place where the nature offers its beauty: Sea, Sun, trees and panorama. I usually do power yoga in that fantastic building with an extraordinary teacher. The classes are given in a green field in front of the sea or in an amphitheater below a centuries-old tree. Yoga satisfies your body and your spirit.

The seaside facilities at this place were spectacular, though sparce. We went during the pandemic so it wasn't too busy and there was always a seat available. Excellent hotel. Breakfasts are varied, excellent pastries. Rooms with good furniture and plumbing. The hotel itself is located quite high above the sea, as if on a rocky plateau, with a beautiful view. Below is an unusual stone beach with sun loungers and umbrellas.

Nice but old hotel with a wonderful location. However it's definitely not a 4-stars hotel. The personnel are not friendly at all. There's basically nothing in the mini bar. No electric kettle, no teabag, no instant coffee in the room.

Very expensive compared to a few of the other resorts we stayed at around Sicily…. We stayed two nights. A good place! An oasis a few steps from Cefalu's seafront. I love to run and it was convenient for me to walk to the sea. Being on a hill among the trees, it really gives a feeling of peace. I enjoyed my lunch on the terrace and the lovely pool.

Very nice hotel, a bit uphill and away from the main city and beach. Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and good restaurant (we only had breakfast and lunch). Good size rooms, however, the bathroom is a bit on the short side. A shuttle bus can take you to both city and beach. Recommendable.

Pool towels cost 2€ each, and are not allowed to leave the pool area, so that's an extra several Euros per day. Pasta by the pool is ok for 6 Euro, the mushroom pasta is best. The location is not great, about a kilometer walk from the town, with an horrendous uphill climb for the last few hundred meters. They hotel is Wednesday between suburban blocks of flats. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff to inform you of everything you needed to know around cefalu. The breakfast was good and the view out over the city is amazing. The walk to the hotel is up a rather steep hill so a pain with too many bags but very worth the walk.

Very helpful staff! After a good night sleep we returned to our rental car with flat tire. Lady at the reception arranged a mechanic from a local garage. A super fast repair for a fair price.

Amazing location and comfortable accommodations. The hotel is in need of some updates and renovations. In addition, the lido that the hotel is associated with, (Lido Peter Pan) has it's issues with customer service. They made it difficult to enjoy the beach with my family. I would return to the hotel but never the lido.

Blue Bay is a wonderful local hotel. You cannot find anything better for the price (probably the best stay in all of Sicily in my experience). The rooms are clean and spacious.
