Conveniently located just autostrada exit, we arrived late in the evening with no problem. Staffs spoke a bit of English. Room was old, beds weren’t so comfortable, bathroom was clean but in dire need of a renovation. At least the air conditioning worked well. There were no elevator, so we had to carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was a bit better than typical mediocre Italian breakfast...

This little family run B&B is in a convenient location very near the railway station in Chiusi. The room we stayed in was attractively furnished and comfortable - it had very effective air conditioning which was needed in the hot weather. The bathroom was small but well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended an excellent restaurant.

Beware of the entrance door - it closes when you get out and if you are lucky when someone next tourist wants to get out of the hotel so you can get in. The location is really good if your plan is to rent a car and explore the surrounding areas of Toscany. It is very near the main motorway (Florence-Rome), which is perfect for going anywhere you like.

We had our wedding at Macciangrosso from June 24th to June 27th 2022. And this location was just perfect for us! With +/-35 guests we could enjoy everything about Macciangrosso for a long weekend. They just finished a large renovation, in which they totally renovated the Lemonaia, installed Solar panels and installed heat pumps for the hot water. The staff is lovely! Very nice! I was hosted very kindly. I'm traveling by bicycle, I was offered a place inside to park my bicycle, which was very nice of the owner. Room is big, beds is excellent, breakfast is very good and generous, and it's a quiet place with a nice view on the countryside. The only negative point is that we can here quite a lot the other rooms, but I had quiet neighbors so it wasn't a problem.
