Was at this hotel for 3 weeks for school, the best hotel in Cortona and great location, if im ever back in Cortona im staying at this hotel, such nice staff, and overall a hotel that I will never forget

The place has a great location ideed. Everything is nearby. The view from the restaurant terrace (attached to the hotel) is amazing. Lobby and rooms are nicely decorated and clean, but! plastic cups for the water are spoiling all impression as they look 'cheap' and bad for the nature.
Otherwise, I would say nice boutique hotel. Also, having an electric kettle in the room would be a plus, as the hotel doesn't have their own bar in the lobby. Restoran does not belong to the hotel. So if you need hot water - it is a problem.

Booked a table for an anniversary meal & requested a balcony table. Service, food and view of the valley were simply stunning! A thoroughly enjoyable experience & one I would recommend without hesitation.

Very kind staff and beautiful views. We enjoyed grabbing drinks from the restaurant located inside the hotel. We loved our stay in Cortona and it all began with this hotel!

We stayed here for several days and their included breakfast is nice and the porch/balcony on the main/top floor is amazing with splendid views of the sunset. The terrace connects to the restaurant and it’s convenient to get some wine and relax watching the Tuscan views. The rooms were small compared to the US but standard for Europe and the AC worked great.

Super nice! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is very comfortable and clean, bed is also nice, not too hard not too soft. Great price for value. Most importantly the view is fantastic, I walked all around the town, then came back to find the best view exists just here on the 1st floor terrace.

Old fashioned but in a very good way. A house with a soul and it’s own style. Very friendly and professional staff. The room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is tough for Northern Europeans ;) but the view from the breakfast room is really rewarding. Loved everything about our stay and would love to come back one day.

The views from the hotel are unprecedented and the staff at the reception is very professional and helpful. However, the experience was ruined by the unbelievable rudeness of the breakfast service people. From the moment you enter the room, they make you feel unwelcome and, weirdly, are constantly watching how much food you’re taking. They also scolded us for taking a small yogurt to our room, but afterwards we accidentally saw the waitress packing croissants into her purse after the service - obviously to take home. Overall, it’s a shame that such a nice hotel has such unacceptable breakfast service. We were thinking of coming back , but after this experience San Luca is not on our list any longer. This is the worst service we have ever encountered with meals in a hotel.
