My wife and I and some our friends went where after cruise 🛳 around Italian and Greek Islands. It was a final stay before we went home to Canada. We had amazing stay. Accommodations and location to experience Tuscany [Italy] is perfect. Villa is in the garden, excellent local food and wine, plus some historical medieval cities nearby. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an impromptu party of 10 requesting a reservation and the staff at La Corte de Papi were incredibly accommodating. The proprietor personally assisted us, adding a special touch to our experience. The grounds are beautiful, and the food was elegant and delicious. The place is gorgeous and the town of Cortona is so charming the only reason I didn’t give a four-star review is because the spa portion is lacking we got massages and the ladies who gave us a massage, it felt like they were just rubbing oil on a baby that’s how tender they were being and when we asked for more pressure in the massage they applied slightly bit more pressure but it still felt like more...

A monastery converted to a hotel combined with modernity in a medieval village in Tuscany should tell you all about it! The staff is wonderful especially Raimondo fulfilled every wish and answered every question! When arriving with car i suggest to call the hotel first for directions/instructions how to get there because it can be tricky.

I would actually give this 4 1/2 stars. This is a spectacular villa with many well kept buildings and an olive orchard, along with many other fruit bearing trees on the property. Cozy and inviting place, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice, the mattress and ac unit could be improved, the service was very good, all staff was friendly. The pool was the highlight of the stay, my kids loved it.

Great hotel near the town of Cortona. Beautiful and comfortable room in a Tuscan style located in stone houses. Free ample private Parking and excellent Breakfast. The perfect place to rest and travel by car. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, which is open 23 hours and have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner for late arrivals.

If you are visiting Cortona, oasi Neumann is a great place to stay. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The views from the room or the garden are excellent. I would particularly recommend this place for conferences or group excursions.

The staff was very nice and fun, and our room was clean. No air conditioning, and the WiFi is bad, but that is to be expected at a quaint little hotel outside town. The view was beautiful from our room, and it is a relatively short (albeit very uphill) walk into the nice little town Cortona.

Amazing views over Toscany. The staff is really pleasant. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms are quite simple but it is adding to the charm of this former seminary. The village is at 15min walk, the slope is quite steep and the pavement not always existent.

Very nice hotel. Located very close to the palazonne. WiFi signal in the rooms isn't very strong, rooms are very hot in the summer with the AC not working too well, and there are some mosquitos in the evening. Other than this it has been the most pleasant stay.

Absolutely stunning location. Liisa was very knowledgeable about the history of the property built in 1676 which we found fascinating. We loved the rooms and the views. Very friendly staff who made us very welcome. Just eight people staying which made it very quiet and personal.

Very nice and small hotel with an amazing view. The rooms were spacious and the furniture mostly high quality. The bath and the rest of the room was spotless and very clean. The breakfast is served and there is no buffet, but the quality is very good. We stopped at Villa Loggio for lunch and wine tasting and it was perfect. The food is wonderful, the wine was absolutely delicious and our host Julia was great. The Chardonnay especially is fantastic. The villa seems to be an absolutely ideal location for the views of Cortona and the valley. We would highly recommend a stop for lunch here.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Everything I thought a Tuscan vacation would be. First-class service, great views outside, excellent decor.

Beautiful and perfect location. A bit secluded from the main road, so very peaceful. The Borgo is cosy and there is a very nice pool. Centrally located. If 3.5 was an option I would have chosen this. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday however I would not call this a 4 star hotel like it claims. My room was large enough, hand painted beds and walls, with a spacious bathroom. Sadly the shower leaked and completely soaked the floor of the bathroom and underneath the door. The TV only has 3 working channels and no 'smart' capabilities. Breakfast was not served...

Villa Marsili is a MUST in your trip to Tuscany. The place is lovely, the rooms were very comfortable, the views are amazing and the whole staff makes you feel at home. They are really nice! We will definitely come back to Cortona and to Villa Marsili!

Charming hotel in Cortona. Really worth staying. The old church has been restored and converted into a modern hotel in a classic style. The staff is very kind and helpful. Super breakfast with homemade snacks and sweets. I often skimp on excessive praise, but this time I could not find fault.

The historic building is run with passion and enthusiasm by an attentive and caring staff. Large and comfortable room, mini bar, evening sweets and santo wine offered by the management, simply superb breakfast, never seen anything like it in over thirty years I have traveled for work and leisure.... Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean and the entire environment was super relaxing! Just what I needed! They even offered to drive my friend and me to the station since no taxis were available. Highly recommend!!

For anyone who is looking to travel to Tuscany, definitely stay here. It's right next to the center of town, and there is lots to do. At night, we stayed downstairs in an outdoor area and we talked through the night. The room was nice and the staff was good. Amazing stay.

I love this restaurant and take groups there often. The view from the terrace is beyond words. Chef Cristiano does a fabulous job, preparing and presenting the food and it's wonderful. Everyone I take there raves about it for days. Wouldn't be Cortona without a stop at Locanda I Grifi.

Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in Italy, this one was the best. Everything was very clean. Linens were great. The staff, Davide and Tecla, even housekeeping was extremely accommodating!!! Paulo was great as well, great cappuccino !!!

Amazing. Stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip through Greece and Italy in August 2023 and this was one of the favorite parts of the trip! Restaurant is fantastic, scenery was peaceful and beautiful, great location for day trips throughout Tuscany. Close to Cortona for some evening dinner + drinks in the city itself, highly recommended!

We stayed for the last night of our trip and didn’t have much expectations. The hotel is pleasant, the Michele restaurant is nice, however the spa and massage service was really bad. The massage therapist didn’t speak English at all, her massage was really bad, as well as attitude.

Our travel agent booke this amazing spot for us and what a time we had! The views are spectacular. We stayed in the original buildings which were so sweet and authentic. Shop in the historic center. Run by a very kind, nice and welcoming woman. The place is small but with high quality products, exclusively for women, Prices in my opinion below average especially with discounts. I recommend to anyone looking for something Made in Italy at excellent prices.

We stayed here for several days and their included breakfast is nice and the porch/balcony on the main/top floor is amazing with splendid views of the sunset. The terrace connects to the restaurant and it’s convenient to get some wine and relax watching the Tuscan views. The rooms were small compared to the US but standard for Europe and the AC worked great.

Booked a table for an anniversary meal & requested a balcony table. Service, food and view of the valley were simply stunning! A thoroughly enjoyable experience & one I would recoomend without hesitation.

Waited 20 years to come to Cortona. This hotel is in the perfect place to be at when you visit this small Tuscan country town. The views are exactly what you are looking for…. Be aware the city tax and taxi services only take cash. Rooms were clean and the HVAC works great. Literally walking distance to everything.
