Amazing. Stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip through Greece and Italy in August 2023 and this was one of the favorite parts of the trip! Restaurant is fantastic, scenery was peaceful and beautiful, great location for day trips throughout Tuscany. Close to Cortona for some evening dinner + drinks in the city itself, highly recommended!

We stayed for the last night of our trip and didn’t have much expectations. The hotel is pleasant, the Michele restaurant is nice, however the spa and massage service was really bad. The massage therapist didn’t speak English at all, her massage was really bad, as well as attitude.

Amazing property. If you want a break from the long lines and crowds of Florence and Rome and enjoy the quiet of the Tuscan hills, this is the place.

Our travel agent booke this amazing spot for us and what a time we had! The views are spectacular. We stayed in the original buildings which were so sweet and authentic. The shower was tiny but otherwise very comfortable. We dined at the restaurant and had the most amazing dinner. They allowed us to swap our main to try the pigeon (their specialty) and it was fantastic. The reception staff was so sweet...

If you’re in the area spend at least two nights here and take advantage of the activities they have to offer this resort and the surrounding area are well worth the price of admission. We loved everything about this place, the people, the food, the activities, etc.

This is a nice hotel, however be prepared to sell a kidney or two just to stay here. Additionally the food and drink costings are astronomical, granted it’s recently won a Michelin Star however, being fleeced to pay €18 each for a mediocre Campari spritz is outrageously rude and taking the p*+% for an aperitif (seriously, I could have bought 3x bottles of Campari bitters for that price) - Just because...

Old fashioned but in a very good way. A house with a soul and it’s own style. Very friendly and professional staff. The room was a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is tough for Northern Europeans ;) but the view from the breakfast room is really rewarding. Loved everything about our stay and would love to come back one day.

Waited 20 years to come to Cortona. This hotel is in the perfect place to be at when you visit this small Tuscan country town. The views are exactly what you are looking for…. Be aware the city tax and taxi services only take cash. Rooms were clean and the HVAC works great. Literally walking distance to everything.

Perfect location and amazing views. The staff are incredibly kind as well, including the cleaners. Would recommend this as the de facto hotel for Cortona. Unfortunately though, the rooms are small and the air conditioning just barely cools.

Great location, outstanding Customer service. We stumbled across this hotel purely by co incidence . Only intended to stay 1 night but extended to a whole 7 nights, as it was so good. Very nice hotel in a great location. Nearby parking is available even if it is a bit of a climb back up to the hotel. Nice rooms and friendly helpful staff.. just a short walk from the town center and wonderful restaurants and shops.

What a fabulous hotel. Pay extra for a balcony room, the view is outstanding. Bus from station drops you at the hotel door. Cortona was one of the highlights of our trip. Good breakfast included and view from breakfast room is amazing. Such good value.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an impromptu party of 10 requesting a reservation and the staff at La Corte de Papi were incredibly accommodating. The proprietor personally assisted us, adding a special touch to our experience. The grounds are beautiful, and the food was elegant and delicious. The service was impeccable, and we all left thoroughly impressed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Corte Dei Papi. The staff upgraded our room free of charge when we arrived and were always available and helpful whenever we needed anything. The owner served us during dinner and informed us about their top notch wines that they produce themselves. The food and wine were delicious and fairly priced in their cozy and atmospheric restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough...

What a fantastic vacation my husband and I had at this beautiful property. They had everything and more that we could have hoped for. From their spacious beautiful suites to their gourmet dinners. David and his team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even arranged for us a winery tour with a driver that took us all over Tuscany. The place is gorgeous and the town of Cortona is so charming the only reason I didn’t give a four-star review is because the spa portion is lacking we got massages and the ladies who gave us a massage, it felt like they were just rubbing oil on a baby that’s how tender they were being and when we asked for more pressure in the massage they applied slightly bit more pressure but it still felt like more...

Cortona is already a great base ti visit surroundings across Tuscany and Umbria but this hotel is simply overwhelming in terms of location and origins. A monastery converted to a hotel combined with modernity in a medieval village in Tuscany should tell you all about it! The staff is wonderful especially Raimondo fulfilled every wish and answered every question! When arriving with car i suggest to call the hotel first for directions/instructions how to get there because it can be tricky.

Absolutely stunning location. Liisa was very knowledgeable about the history of the property built in 1676 which we found fascinating. We loved the rooms and the views. Very friendly staff who made us very welcome. Just eight people staying which made it very quiet and personal.

We were there for wine tasting which was amazing! Food and wine were very delicious. Service very kind. Beautiful Villa with amazing Tuscany view was like cherry on top of the cake for our lunch!

Very nice and small hotel with an amazing view. The rooms were spacious and the furniture mostly high quality. The bath and the rest of the room was spotless and very clean. The breakfast is served and there is no buffet, but the quality is very good. There are a few small things that can be improved, like the amount of Sun-beds around the Pool and the availability of shade giving trees, or umbrellas...

We stopped at Villa Loggio for lunch and wine tasting and it was perfect. The food is wonderful, the wine was absolutely delicious and our host Julia was great. The Chardonnay especially is fantastic. The villa seems to be an absolutely ideal location for the views of Cortona and the valley. We would highly recommend a stop for lunch here.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Everything I thought a Tuscan vacation would be. First-class service, great views outside, excellent decor.

I would actually give this 4 1/2 stars. This is a spectacular villa with many well kept buildings and an olive orchard, along with many other fruit bearing trees on the property. I picked fresh figs every day. The pool and pool area is gorgeous and clean. The best part is you can see the old city of Cortona from the side of the pool. It is truly awe-inspiring. Cozy and inviting place, we stayed 3 nights, it was nice, the mattress and ac unit could be improved, the service was very good, all staff was friendly. The pool was the highlight of the stay, my kids loved it.

Great hotel near the town of Cortona. Beautiful and comfortable room in a Tuscan style located in stone houses. Free ample private Parking and excellent Breakfast. The perfect place to rest and travel by car. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, which is open 23 hours and have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner for late arrivals.

Beautiful and ideal place. A little away from the main road, very quiet. Cozy hotel Borgo with a very beautiful swimming pool. Centrally located. The nearby town of Cortona is surprisingly authentic. An excellent base for exploring the surrounding area such as Florence, Pienza, Val d'Orcia etc. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and perfect location. A bit secluded from the main road, so very peaceful. The Borgo is cosy and there is a very nice pool. Centrally located. The nearest town Cortona is amazingly authentic. Great base to explore the surroundings i.e. Firenze, Pienza, Val d'Orcia etc. Very kind personnel. Highly recommend!

If 3.5 was an option I would have chosen this. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday however I would not call this a 4 star hotel like it claims. My room was large enough, hand painted beds and walls, with a spacious bathroom. Sadly the shower leaked and completely soaked the floor of the bathroom and underneath the door. The TV only has 3 working channels and no 'smart' capabilities. Breakfast was not served...

Villa Marsili is a MUST in your trip to Tuscany. The place is lovely, the rooms were very comfortable, the views are amazing and the whole staff makes you feel at home. They are really nice! We will definitely come back to Cortona and to Villa Marsili!

We loved this hotel with the amazing views and the wonderful staff that couldn’t have been more helpful. Marina was a jewel always trying to make everything perfect for us. Coming back from the restaurant and having a Vin santo with biscotti at night and then a herbal tea. Waking up with the windows open to such a stunning view. Charming hotel in Cortona. Really worth staying. The old church has been restored and converted into a modern hotel in a classic style. The staff is very kind and helpful. Super breakfast with homemade snacks and sweets. I often skimp on excessive praise, but this time I could not find fault.

The completely renovated old residence has very beautiful and well-maintained rooms, as well as elegant and cozy common areas. The staff were very polite and friendly throughout the stay. The breakfast is just exceptional. If you go to Cortona, everything will be all right.

Very elegant and clean hotel, very kind and helpful staff, attentive to every need. What struck us the most was the smell of freshly baked biscuits upon our return from lunch which flooded the entire hotel making us feel at home! And in the evening, as soon as we returned, Mrs. Marina (very kind) offered us a tray! Lovely breakfast with many delicacies prepared by their pastry chef...

The historic building is run with passion and enthusiasm by an attentive and caring staff. Large and comfortable room, mini bar, evening sweets and santo wine offered by the management, simply superb breakfast, never seen anything like it in over thirty years I have traveled for work and leisure.... If you are visiting Cortona, oasi Neumann is a great place to stay. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The views from the room or the garden are excellent. I would particularly recommend this place for conferences or group excursions.

The staff was very nice and fun, and our room was clean. No air conditioning, and the WiFi is bad, but that is to be expected at a quaint little hotel outside town. The view was beautiful from our room, and it is a relatively short (albeit very uphill) walk into the nice little town Cortona.

Amazing views over Toscany. The staff is really pleasant. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms are quite simple but it is adding to the charm of this former seminary. The village is at 15min walk, the slope is quite steep and the pavement not always existent.

Very nice hotel. Located very close to the palazonne. WiFi signal in the rooms isn't very strong, rooms are very hot in the summer with the AC not working too well, and there are some mosquitos in the evening. Other than this it has been the most pleasant stay.

Breakfast was good most days but one morning when we went to the breakfast room there was not much left. We asked for more to be added but were told they was nothing more available!!

Just arrived home after 5 day’s in Cortona hotel Italia is a stunning building In a beautiful area of Tuscany hotel was more than comfortable well heated as it is winter friendly staff plenty of choice at breakfast cereal fruit yogurt pastries meat and cheese I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and will definately be returning

Very centrally located. Close parking and can drop things right outside if needed. Excellent, friendly, multilingual, helpful staff. Clean and spacious family room. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Recommended!

For anyone who is looking to travel to Tuscany, definitely stay here. It's right next to the center of town, and there is lots to do. At night, we stayed downstairs in an outdoor area and we talked through the night. The room was nice and the staff was good. Amazing stay.

Good views and great food

I love this restaurant and take groups there often. The view from the terrace is beyond words. Chef Cristiano does a fabulous job, preparing and presenting the food and it's wonderful. Everyone I take there raves about it for days. Wouldn't be Cortona without a stop at Locanda I Grifi.

Out of the 3 hotels we stayed in Italy, this one was the best. Everything was very clean. Linens were great. The staff, Davide and Tecla, even housekeeping was extremely accommodating!!! Paulo was great as well, great cappuccino !!!

Located on the Hill behind Cortona not far from Santa Margherita, from here You Do have a fantastic view of the Lake and the Valley. Locanda with restaurant the chef owner is very friendly I recommend this place

The lunch we had was fantastic, real food. The wild boar rage pasta was the best dish I had on our 1 week holiday in Tuscany and Bologna. The cool breeze on a hot day made the lunch even more enjoyable. My compliments to the chef and the owner!

I stayed and dined in the structure. Hotel with small but fully equipped rooms. Good dinner, rich breakfast with the possibility of savory dishes out of the buffet. Special mention for the lady who serves the breakfasts and cleans the rooms, of an exquisite kindness. Advised

Shop in the historic center. Run by a very kind, nice and welcoming woman. The place is small but with high quality products, exclusively for women, Prices in my opinion below average especially with discounts. I recommend to anyone looking for something Made in Italy at excellent prices.
