Last time I was here it was more than 20 years ago and it seems it still appeals to mostly German and Swiss speaking people which for me was excellent as my Italian is very rusty. Absolutely perfect place for family vacation, next to the sea, pools, restaurants, etc.

The resort is beautiful and well maintained! Everything can be reached in 5 min walk! The sea is perfect for the family with small kids! Something to improve would be the cleaness of the rooms and the Wi-Fi connection in the apartment. It doesn't allow you to stream media from internet and more over also to work remotely. This also after the intervention of the technician.

Nice hotel, great location in the middle of Follonica. Single room is small but you have everything that you need, very clean and good mattress. For breakfast you have plenty of choices and overall service (reception, night porter, catering, cleaners etc) very friendly and professional. You always go back to where you had a good time, it feels like being at home. Super nice, helpful and sociable. This time staying alone, I was in a single room, I reconfirm the excellent cleanliness of the room and the good location of the room as once the windows are closed you don't hear the noise from outside. The village is very convenient for families. All you need is just there. Swimming pool, tennis courts and other amenities are really good. If you want to have a walk to the seaside it's just 1 km away. On the other side, the wifi connection is really poor and some of the accommodations need renovations

What a beautiful little diamond of a place! If you need a break from a busy life this is perfect! Excellent campsite, lovely staff. The sea is a 10 min walk away (15 with a child) but no-one can be directly on the beach here because there are pine trees in the dunes behind the beach all along the coast, and they are protected (and rightly so!). Lovely swimming pools for the children, quite and chilled atmosphere. Tip: get a gazebo if you're going to be in a tent.

A long way from noisy and great value for money.What some people expect for their money is beyond me! It IS a walk away from the beach - about 15 minutes with a 5 year old, less than 10 for a grown up. Beach is great. As for the camp, the pitches with private kitchen/bathroom are brilliant (I've never had a Smeg brand hob in a camping site before) and plenty big enough. There isn't a bit of litter...

As for the cleanliness of the kitchen and the beach, excellent. Too bad you also have to pay for the air you breathe. In the room if you want to have air conditioning you have to pay for it separately. Do you want fruit for lunch or dinner you have to pay ...... Maybe if they increase 5 euros a day, make a real impression.
