Away from the street, in the middle of the wood, with a nice pool and great wines. Rooms are nice, and the terrace has a great view. The hotel is inside of an windmill built in 1400’s. So, it’s an experience. Lovely one.

We stayed a this hotel for 7 days and we had a room at the first floor which was, unfortunately, dark (there is only a small window), but the level of cleaness was very good, pool was nice and the stuff prompt. The location is somehow in a bucket and there is no phone signal, this was a big downsize. The breakfast was the same for 7 days, no small diversion.. quite upsetting. L'Ultimo Mulino is a wonderful boutique inn. The staff is multilingual and engaging . This location is off a winding road, so pay attention to your GPS! The facility is quiet, restful and the breakfast which was included will leave you satisfied for the day. The chief has specials of the day and recommend you take advantage of them. I would give 5 stars, but it's missing the typical long vista views...

It's shame we could not spend too much time in this lovely hotel as we arrived too late. Good value hotel, in very quiet place, surrounded with vineyard and breathtaking views of Tuscany. You will have good meat and good chianti wine for your diner.

This is a hard review to write as everything was wonderful except for the fee. We had wine and experienced modern art, mixed with food. The experience is slick, polished and very expensive for what you get. For five people we got a 1 hr tour and saw some amazing artist in resident installations. All miracles on their own. 5 stars aren't adequate to rate this outstanding B&B. We had 4 wonderful days with Daniela and Paolo. Daniela is an excellent cook and we enjoyed two dinners, one cooking class and one pizza-party - wood fired stone oven :).Also the breakfast was molto bene. We stayed 3 nights with Paulo and Daniela and it was extremely nice. Both are really taking care that you have the best stay possible and helped us a lot with all sorts of things (Paulo even borrowed some of his tools to fix a mechanical issue we had...) A very intimate and enjoyable stay in a spectacular garden. The hostess was super friendly and all needs were catered for. Definitely returning next time. You do need a car to get around to other vineyards if that's what you like however the small town and a few other places within walking distance

On our roadtrip around Italy we decided to stay a couple nights in the heart of Tuscany. A beautiful and comfortable B&B run by a lovely family. My girlfriend and I stopped here on a bike tour to escape to bigger cities and it was the best decision of our trip. Breakfast was delightful and our hosts were charming. I can really recommend this B&B.

We just had our wedding here, July 2022 and what a venue! All of our guests commented on how incredible this venue is, from the scenery, the castle, the grounds, swimming pools, wine... we literally had the best weekend of our lives and the staff were incredibly helpful and amazing throughout. Wonderful location right in the middle of the Chianti heartland. The castle setting made it a special place but being in the middle of the countryside surrounded by forests and vinyards was a quiet bliss. Our room was fab, very comfy bed and the staff were really helpful. We were there in October so didn't make use of the sun loungers, it would be an idyllic summer retreat with the pool.

Enjoyed a wonderful visit to this former fortress with marvellous countryside views. A tour of the cellars with our guide Azzurra from Viaggi d’Ambra was followed by a delicious tasting of bread and oil and a number of superb wines.

A great hotel, and exceptional restaurant! Our room was beautiful with amazing views and an amazing terrace. We expected a bath or special shower for a superior room though. Breakfast was ok although a buffet during COVID does not seem the best option... Highly recommend!
