Beautiful hotel in the center of town. Our room was a suite with living area, like a little apartment. Very modern bathroom, excellent stay. Helpful staff gave us recommendations on what to see in the area. Restaurant in the hotel is excellent as well.
Charming hotel in a lovely village. It was a heavenly respite from the crowds of Florence. The hotel in located in the middle of town, surrounded by restaurants and shops. We didn't have a less than scrumptious meal. Our room was up some steps in the first building, overlooking Tuscany hills. So beautiful. The room was comfy, decorated with period furniture and well stocked. We enjoyed the wine machine...
We loved our room and the view from this charming boutique hotel. Although we had provided advance notice that we were vegan, the dinner was disappointing. It was supposed to include first and second service, and desert. The first service was from the menu and okay. However, instead of a second service valued at 25-30 euros each, we were served 3 bland side dishes (without seasonings) to share, valued...
The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and kind to let us choose a room . But later our experiences were not so pleasant. The swimming pool- very old and stuffy, jacuzzi's - old and pigeons come and poop into them ( I let the stuff know about this but the first receptionist said "sorry" and that was all and the second receptionist said "sorry" and just when I was closing door he burst...
Lovely hotel in the middle of the town. Beds were extremely comfy with the best pillows I have ever had in a hotel. Well equipped bathroom with excellent shower. Decorated really nicely and very clean and well looked after. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of food. Spa was enjoyable and we also got to use the sister hotel's pool. Would recommend
Great location, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast with good gluten free options. Does have a small jacuzzi area as well to use. Room a little tired, all worked fine but shower fittings broken and slightly stale smelling Air con. That said, I would stay again

Last minute check in to this very central hotel. Super friendly receptionist. Slightly faded common parts. Room was comfortable but was the last available so wasn’t their best! Breakfast was quite good
The property is beautifully old but be careful how much luggage you bring as there is no elevator, Only stairs. Room is nice. Bathrooms nicely updated. No complaints!
Cute hotel and room atmosphere with modern utilities. Good for visiting the town, parking is relatively ok just outside the ZTL, renovated bathroom, good bedding overall. Would consider staying again if visiting the area
Just a lovely place to stay. A historic building in a beautiful village with good restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time. We used the pools at the neighbouring properties near Gaiole, but also toured to Florence, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pistoia and the other Chianti villages. Can’t wait to return.
Well located in quiet main street in centre of the old town, the street is basically used by pedestrians with very occasional cars. Nice rooms. Good continental style breakfast with variety of pastries, fruit, etc. Staff friendly and those on reception are good English speakers. Also very helpful, preparing a take-away breakfast as we had an early start for a sporting event. Several restaurants within...
The hotel and staff are great. The room and bed are super nice just be ready to move your luggage over some stairs, yes, they do have lift BUT there are some bedrooms (like mine) that will require to go over some stairs.

We found lovely staff serving up a calm and beautiful stay. I recommend taking drinks into the olive grove at sunset and rising early for the sunrise view from the pool terrace. The views from Vescine are stunning. It's in a lovely part of Tuscany, with delightful Radda and Volpaia nearby. Vescine's wine is sophisticated and delicious. Highly generous staff will help you arrange fun activities - we...
After a thorough review of country hotels in the greater Radda area, my wife and I decided to try Il Borgo Di Vescine near Radda for 5 nights to fully explore the food and wine scene of the Chianti region- and we are glad we did! As we pulled up to a pretty good sized cluster of buildings not knowing where to park or check-in, their reception folks were there to meet us and whisk out luggage to our...
This is an absolutely lovely resort: the property itself, and of course the surrounding area. You get wonderful views of the Chianti region and there is something very romantic about staying in what used to be a small medieval town. Excellent service, food, and rooms.
Beautiful tuscan hotel near Radda and Castellina. This hotel isn’t commercial at all which is great. They treat you as a family member staying over. Every single person from the staff speak great english and are extremely friendly. The food is amazing, a bit pricey but you get quality Italian food and meat from the region. Samuel was a delight to speak and have a chat by the pool bar. The hotel rooms...
This place is amazing - every view is a postcard of Tuscany. The whole village, staff, food, drink all endearing, hospitable, and exactly what we wanted in a Tuscan holiday. The pool is epic, perched on a terrace with views to Radda. Prices of things once you’re there (wine, food, cocktails etc) all very reasonable. If you’re planning a trip here - which you should - there are some quirks worth knowing...
This place was out of a dream! Incredible valley hill views, beautiful birds and natural cool montaintop breezes, delicious Chianti wine, good food, very friendly bartenders and receptionists, and authentic, scenic architecture. It was a very romantic retreat away from the busy Rome tourists. This place let's you escape to nature. We had a bird fly in our room and saw beautiful butterflies on the trail...

We were part of a tour group that used this hotel as its base. It's a decent hotel but in October, it's winding down for the year. The restaurant was open for breakfast for all guests, but not open for dinner. The outdoor pool was closed but it was getting cool and drizzly at our hotel anyway. That was okay since our group had our dinners in a separate private dining area. The grounds were nice although...
This place was Amazing . We went here for a couple days vacation with my husband. There's a pool outside , 10 mins drive to all the restaurants. There's a spa also , free breakfast bar inside . The only thing I get lil bit upset is the drainage of the shower was blocked.
The hotel was is a lovely setting and the staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet rooms.
Liked the position just out of town with free parking.
This hotel is an older facility located in the beautiful county side. The positive of this is that the views were beautiful and although we didn't use the pool, it also looked very nice. The negative is there is nothing to do near by. We were on a bus tour and if you didn't go on an optional dinner tour one night, the restaurant wasn't open. We did have a group dinner one night at the hotel and...
Very comfortable rooms, with massive balconies overlooking the Beautiful Chianti county side. Fantastic onsite bar and restaurant. Great breakfasts. Very lovely cold Pool. Quiet - relaxing - Very special.

The breakfast buffet was SO GOOD! Staff so lovely and friendly. The building was absolutely beautiful including unique artworks and furniture. Our room was super spacious. Both big bedroom and bathroom. Clean and with a gorgeous view. Pool fantastic with amazing view. We were in the middle of the town center and would absolutely stay here again.
The room itself was clean, spacious and air-conditioned. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I loved having 2 pillows. We asked for a quiet room and the staff provided it - so they were very accommodating. They also helped us find a wine-tasting place. The breakfast was tasty and had a lot of options. If you come with a car, don't worry about the parking spot. We didn't use much pool but...
Our stay started with a delightful welcome at Reception. Silva treated us like family who she had been waiting to arrive. My wife & I travel globally and have rarely ever been welcomed and shown around like Silva did for us. What a wonderful 1st impression ! Then Antonio was delightful as he assisted us put our e-bikes 🚴‍♀️ 🚴 in a garage and set up for re-charging. Team-members like Silva and Antonio...
The location and the staff (with one exception) were absolutely fantastic. The rooms were nice, clean and charming. We had some issues with the water in the bathroom (loss of pressure or something), but other than that it was great. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff at the breakfast were also really friendly and service minded. Fresh orange juice, good coffee, etc, etc. We tried the wine...
My husband and me stayed for one week. The hotel is placed in gorgeous calm location, the building is ancient with magnificent vibe, there is lots of nice rooms, terraces you can enjoy. Our room was very clean, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful. Hotel does not provide you with iron, “for safety reason”, still they offered to iron our clothes for free which was very nice, and very well appreciated...

Our host Francesco was wonderful. Showed us our room in a restored 1840s building in their vineyard, and explained local things to see and do. The spacious rooom had log ceilings and a four poster bed. Had a free breakfast at Francesco's mothers cafe just around the corner. Early in the season so the pool wasn't open yet. Fantastic place to stay. Make sure you contact Francesco by phone before you...
I don't understand the negative comments. Warm place, welcoming staff and very good location. We will come back, that's for sure. For those who want a heated pool and a sanitized room, there are hotel chains that do that very well, for the others, you can go there with your eyes closed (and you won't find better value for money in the area).
Excellent location for visiting the Chianti region! Everything about this conveniently located hotel was exactly as we wanted. A relaxed atmosphere with unpretentious, clean and cosy rooms and very helpful, friendly staff. The air-conditioning was really appreciated during this hot period, as was the pool which had the most spectacular view of the Chianti region you could imagine! Our spacious suite...
Peace and quiet in the countryside, a very refreshing pool for the heat wave, we enjoyed it. Rustic style room and full breakfast (if you order fried eggs and cold cuts they are very good). Alessandra, thank you very much for your attention. It is a very authentic place in Tuscany.
Beautiful area with a nice pool. However the service was slow and not reliable. There is no actual restaurant for dinner. Rooms were slightly outdated, but cozy.
Very good location, beautiful pool side, amazing dinner service. Unconveniant breakfast arrangement in nearby village, no air conditioning in rooms and unreliable wifi. But nice staff and overall a beautiful experience.

Friendly staff and great food which felt like homemade. Environment was warm and cosy. Nothing was bad to comment on!
A nice setting in the middle of the vineyard , better during the evening (in the night lights used are not keeping the right atmosphere), generous entrees and good food overall
Beautiful dinner in a beautiful setting! Really delicious food and wonderful staff who were very attentive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!
Lovely dinner! We visited with a large group, and Antonio went above and beyond to provide us with a special experience. We arranged a fixed menu with a very reasonable price, and there was a lot of food - we had an appetizer of Tuscan cheese and cold cuts, followed by vegetarian lasagna (my favorite course), then fried chicken, rabbit and vegetables as a second course, and cake for dessert. Everything...
A beautiful place for a dinner in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by vinyards. Great food (cold meat platter, Bistecca Fiorentine) , great wine.
Good food, excellent service. Prices were decent too. Only a bit hard to reach.

This 500 years old lovingly renovated farmhouse is our favorite place in Tuscany. In the middle of the vineyards it invites you to relax. Breakfast on the terrace, refresh in the small pond and for dinner we go to one of the many nice restaurants nearby or we do a Bistecca Fiorentina ourselves on the grill and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. Simonetta and Giovanni are loving hosts and make the stay...
Absolutely amazing and magical place. We had a wonderful week in Tegline, full of beatuful sunsets and breathtaking views. It is a quiet place surrounded by nature, its pefrect to relax outside the city, noise and crowds. I will remember this experience forever
Podere Tegline is really a hidden gem for those who are looking for peace and nature, and who value authenticity above all. The host family is very warm-hearted, from the smallest attention upon arrival (your name on the door and fresh home-baked cake by Simonetta!) to spontaneous meetings in the yard, tips for exploring the area and much more. The wine tasting by Giovanni is very enriching & the pizza...
It is a wunderful place, where you can relax and slow down. It's so pure and authentic. We had a good time here. Simonetta and Giovanni knows a lot about the region and their product. They have good recommendations for restaurants and where you can buy delicious food. The wine and Olive oil they made is also very tastefully. The communication was perfect. We felt welcome at all times.
This is a beautiful home in the heart of Chianti! A very relaxing place with goats and horse and its own nice small pond. If you enjoy nature and wine with quiet surroundings this place is for you. Simonetta (host) is very helpful with all the information you need and makes your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time here.

Perfect stay, really beautiful house in a splendid place
Very quiet and relaxing, great location (if you have a car)
Best view, great location, very good breakfast and amazing staff. The wine is very recommended
A beautiful experience. Benedetta makes you feel so welcome and prepares the best breakfast. Walk through her garden and discover the huge pumpkins. The old monastery has been well renovated. We stayed in the Peonia room with amazing view and swallows chirping and diving by. At the end we did a tasting with John and found several tasty Sangiovese to take home. It’s in proximity to other vineyards so...
Beautiful setting. Lovely building. You feel space here - the room we had was compact but there are sitting rooms to relax in. The view from our window was just fantastic. Looking down at night I could see fireflies. Outside there are places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Having a fridge is handy - you can easily self cater a bit and there are some cups and glasses and plates etc to assist...
Lovely old monastery converted into a stylish B&B. The owners - Benedetta and Piero - and staff could not be more friendly or helpful. There are wonderful views throughout, but most especially from the hilltop pool, which it's blessedly chlorine-free. (Piero uses a salt system.) The breakfasts are absolutely fresh and delicious, the wine fabulous and the winery itself a high tech work of art. This...

Authentic winery experience from Chianti. Sleep in the estate itself and wake up with the full view of the vineyard. Go relax on their private terrace and taste their local wine and olive oil.

It is an amazing place, very comfortable, quiet, cosy, extremely good equipped, very clean and with this gorgeous terrace in a relaxing view. It was the most beautiful villa in Chianti region of Tuscany. With only seven guestrooms, the family owned and operated winery/hotel had the time to give specialized attention to us during our stay. Micol and Andrea warm and welcoming, and Andrea gave an excellent tour at the winery and the vineyard with a tasting of the CorteDomina wines afterwards. It was a magical evening where we reserved a picnic...
This hotel is perfect. Just outside Radda surrounded by vineyards. Friendly staff who are so helpful . A Wonderful room which is brilliantly decorated and stunning views. Lots of areas to look at the view outside and relax. The dinner was delicious and their wine, probably too good! We will be back x
We absolutely LOVED our afternoon here! We learned about Tenuta CorteDomina through Chianti Taxi (highly recommend) - our driver, Stella, planned a wine tasting and tour for us here. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, and special memory of a small, family-owned and operated winery, this is the place for you. The family is kind and the property is beyond stunning. We are dreaming of going back...
This place !!! Absolute fantastic views and the rooms are so perfect designed and super clean. Best stay we ever had in Italy. This property is family own and they are so nice and helpful. We took the 5 course tasting menu with vineparing and the food was FANTASTIC also the vine ! If u going to Tuscany it's here u gonna stay !!!
It is a beautiful place with fantastic views of the green hills and valleys. Just as you have imagined in your mind. But... The overall concept has not been thought through to the end. In our room there was only one socket and even in the bathroom there was no socket. The surprise menu was unfortunately not well planned and also here the concept did not fit. Beautiful place to taste Chianti Classico! The location is beautiful, uniquely set up in a little village. Our tour was cut short by some rain, but was interesting and charming nonetheless! Our guide Leila was very friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was delicious, we bought a few bottles to take home! I’d definitely recommend a trip here.
Oh my god... Castello di Volpaia is the absolute ultimate calm and natural hedonistic experience that I recomend to absolutely everyone who loves the Tuscany countryside, who enjoys the peace of mind a remote medievel village transmits and, obviously, who also enjoy's the fine things in life, like a good wine and a superb italian meal. Stayed at Castello di Volpaia for 4 nights - a family of 5 (3 teenagers). We enjoyed the stay very much! Cool and relaxed atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Very kind and professional owner (Federica) and receptionist (Francesca). Breakfast is OK, but didn't really fit my teenagers' taste...
