Al Pescatore Hotel & Restaurant

The staff and especially the management has been awful and even the threatening when try to solve an issue - very bad experience

On the night we checked in, we decided to dine in the hotel restauran because it started to rain. Within 10 minutes from sitting down, the rain entered thru the roof and the floor flooded. After 40 minutes of getting drenched we were moved inside. The food took forever to arrive and our friends were served after we finished eating. The food was of poor quality. We were not offered any compensation for getting wet from the rain, the poor quality of food or late service. When we walked to the elevator we found out it stopped working because of the rain. I am handicapped, I walk with a crutch, we had to climb 2 and a half stories. When we entered our room we found it flooded with some of our belongings, those on the floor, soaked. The receptionist came to clear the water, this took about 30-40 minutes (there was no other room available). We asked to speak with the manager/owner, we were told he is busy, he is also the cook of the restaurant. In the morning we insisted to meet the manager/owner who didn't apologize, shouted at us and said that these things happen and it's a force of nature, force majeure. He was angry, didn't want to listen and very unsympathetic. After going back and forth for quite some time, the owner gave each couple 40 euro compensation for the restaurant "experiennce", flooded room and the elevator being out of order. My worst hotel experience!

I arrived for my stay and was told there was 'a problem', there was no air conditioning in the entire hotel. It was late August, the room was extremely, hot. Like a sauna. I politely asked for a refund. They unapologetically refused my refund, staring at me blankly like was totally normal. I ended up fleeing the furnace room and booking my second room for the night, the nearby Elamar B&B, which was lovely by the way, with ice cold air con and no bad vibes. I'm still waiting for that refund please Al Pescatore?
