We had a great two night stay at the grand Astoria hotel. The staff were excellent parking our car and bringing all our luggage to the room while we went to the pool as we were early. We arrived by car, and after negotiating the streets of Grado arrived at the garage. The staff were amazing they unloaded the car. Very good position, next to the beach and to all services. Clean rooms and common spaces. Beautiful view from the top terrace to all the landscape around plus solarium and swimming pool on the roof, so useful. Great breakfast with all kind of choices from salty to sweet food.

Great place to go and relax. With plenty to do even if you don't have kids. The staff were fantastic and very friendly. The highlight of the resort for us was the dog trainer Costantin, who helped us teach our dog agility, obedience, trekking and nose work. Can't recommend his services highly enough!!!

Close to the beach, rooms are large vs most Italian hotels, bathroom has shower in bath, excellent continental breakfast, friendly staff, mostly speaking Italian and German. Breakfast has been wonderful. Several types of food with Italian specialities. Staff is very kind, helpful and attentive. Location is good, the beach is only a few minutes walk, the historical centre is about 15 minutes walk. Restaurants, shops are very close.

We stayed in an apartment of the Hotel located in the Cà Laguna village, Casa delle Orchidee. Overall it is not bad, but we found it a bit neglected and dirty, the hot water is sipped from a small boiler, the place is quiet, but in the rooms you can hear everything that happens in the adjacent apartment. The garden is not fenced in any way, so dogs and children risk ending up on the street if not supervised...

Very comfortable and clean hotel, really nice (Italian, German and English speaking) staff. The breakfast is outstanding and offers original creations by the hotel owner himself (e.g. cold fried zucchini au gratin, cold omelette pieces, etc.). You can rent bikes for free to get into the town center within 10 minutes.

The receptionist at the check-in was quite unpleasant, but in the evening another receptionist was very kind and helpful. Second time at the Hannover hotel and only compliments can be given. The hotel is in the center of Grado, in front of a canal with many boats, equipped with 14 parking spaces (for a fee) and equipped with all services.
