Hotel is a lovely mix of the modern and traditional - staff incredibly efficient and friendly. Breakfast selection always hearty and dinner a looked forward to feast after a day on the slopes. Spa a real treat also. Rooms cosy and comfortable and there is a heated ski room to store and dry equipment.

Everything you want from a relaxing stay in the mountains. Great room, beautiful spa and fantastic food at the restaurant. The staff is friendly and very dedicated.

This is a lovely family run hotel. Spent New Year here with my family. Super clean, friendly staff, varied menu, relaxing spa and ski bus transfer to Punta Jolanda. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Worth its * rating because of the food, staff and nice public areas. Easy walk to ski lift or take the regular hotel shuttle bus. 100m to a laid back apres bar. No noise from road and good views from most rooms.

Fun place to stay while skiing in Italy. I'm Canadian and it's not really like anything I would expect to see in Canada but it's comfortable, clean and has good staff. The food is good but not great.

Hotel overlooking the valley in a great position to ski and experience the mountains. Friendly staff and good and plentiful food at the self service. Rooms not brand new but welcoming.

We came here every day for breakfast on a work trip so we didn't stay in the rooms but we did sample the breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is delightful, loads of different types of honey & a fresh fruit juicer 😍 perfect way to start the day. The area is gorgeous & close to via Ferrata, hikes, chair lifts etc.... A beautiful hotel in a good location. The room was good sized and clean. The shower was also good. However, the dinner portion was quite small compared to the typical Italian food you would expect. The Hotel Jolanda has been an oasis of peace! We went to hide from stress and take some relaxing treatments. The hotel was perfect! Far more elegant than expected. Airy, plenty of space, excellent wine list and friendly staff. You just cannot ask for more some half way down the slope. Great views from the terrace. Less busy than in the past.

Food is ok. A tad expensive. Views on the balcony are great. Toilets are Japanese style- hole in the floor- which seems common on the mountain.

Absolutely fantastic!!! I visited the place during a sports event (tor des Glaciers) and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us! But that doesn't mean that my review is biased: the food was of the highest quality and plentiful. The rooms were large and fully equipped with on suite bathroom. It's the perfect place for a stay in the mountains, be it summer or winter!

The place is really nice, with a great view of the glacier. The food is very good and the staff is polite and professional. Average prices. If you want to have a complete lunch indoor, during weekend it is strongly recommended to book a table.

Very nice location. The hotel has great accomodations, with spacious rooms with a view on the montains and glaciers. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous and the cuisine of the restaurant is always tasty and well prepared. Choice of wines is really great ! The place is pets and kids friendly. The Gordon's Pub is a nice place to spend lunch and aperitivo time or just chug a beer with some friendly talk...

Mixed feelings about this hotel. Clean. Good attached bar with friendly staff. Lots of side lounges to relax. Only a short walk to ski lifts. Room was small, made smaller by a huge impractical wardrobe. Staff generally friendly and helpful though one of our main regular waiters was quite brusque. This is a pretty big hotel with a several large communal areas. The place is clean and the staff are really very pleasant and helpful. They really try hard and that makes a big difference. I visited restaurant for the dinner. It was beautiful. Full course cuisine was 27euro and food was really nice. Only thing I didn't like was serving speed was bit slow so you can feel full during the meal.

I love coming here! They're so friendly and welcoming but that doesn't diminish the professionality of service. The food is great and the spa lovely. The only thing wrong about it is the 'flimsy' jacuzzis which I'm told are to be replaced this Summer - can't wait till next Winter! :-)

Absolutely fantastic hotel.Stayed for a night at short notice after a very long journey. The room was wonderful and the food in the restaurant was just superb, the best food that I ever had the pleasure to enjoy at any hotel in Italy. Had a bottle of local wine with the meal which was also top class. I'm going to book a full week in The Hotel Dufor next year. I can't wait to return. Ten out of ten...

Amazing location, especially in the ski season. There is a chair lift about 50 meters from the hotel, which is very convenient, if you're there to ski/snowboard. If you take the chair behind the hotel you can ski on many different runs, which lead to Stafal, this will also save you from a fifteen minute drive up to stafal which is great.

Very friendly staff, perfect service, good breakfast & dinner, nice and clean but somewhat small (bath)room. Perfect location for beautiful mountain hikes.

From the first email with the lovely Florisa and Bruna, we felt looked after. Their attention to detail in these difficult times to travel meant our trip was stress free and easy. They sent reminders for what was required prior to travelling and made initial bookings at restaurants so we could just turn up with an itinerary. Well run little hotel near slopes. Ski in but not out. Hotel has parking facilities, which is great during peak periods when parking is very scarce. Only has breakfast restaurant so other meals must be found in the area. Place is neat and clean only complaint is that sound travels easily from room to room.

Rooms, service and breakfast are all great. Although dinner is good, it is very slow. Location is excellent, right outide the pistes and cable car.

Giovanni and Marco are always friendly and look after us well! We have been here 4 times and enjoy the proximity to the ski lifts and great breakfasts. Good local food in the adjoining Bar/restaurant.

Great location and very comfortable and well furnished rooms. The staff is welcoming and always available to guests. Excellent value for money. Recommended for families even with dogs.

A truly cosy and quality place to stay. On foot to the main lift: 5 mins, and return directly to the door from ski slopes.

It's ok but there are some things that i didn't like so much. Some issues: dirty water and some dead insects.

I stayed for 9 days including new years eve. I was warm comfortable and looked after extremely well - best New years eve ever which included outstanding food of many courses with wines to match. the cuisine was traditional and there was always plenty of it including an excellent buffet breakfast providing enough energy to ski for the day in outstanding conditions.Very very friendly Italian family atmosphere...

Beautiful apartment, integrated cable car, in front of me, overlooking the mountain and the cable car, the price is suitable, and the cleanliness is good.

Perfect, new and fresh close to the restaurant and lifts. Stafal is the valley to stay in when visiting monterosa becouse you are in the middle of the two systems so you don't have to travel thru the ski systems. The beds are a little bit uncomfortable in the two person appointments. Recommended to purchase breakfast from the nordend hotel.

Particularly kind welcome from Mrs. Lydia who advised us every day on the itineraries to do and places to visit even in summer, like now. Also kind to our dog who was welcomed with great availability. Residence well stocked in dishes with absolute cleanliness both in linen and in individual spaces and also in shared ones. The apartment is not very big, but nice, with a nice terrace full of flowers...

Small but cozy property with beautiful mountain views. Very kind owner who has taken great care of the details of the apartment with a basic kit included (kitchen equipped with soap and dish sponges, tablecloth, tea towel and pot holders). Clean apartments. The owner is nice and available. The breakfast is great. We have never had any problems with the dog. The apartments are small and spartan but functional and have everything you need. The cost is adequate.

Stayed here for a week, the rooms are great, very clean and modern. The staff are sooo friendly, helpful and professional. Quality and courtesy, clean place, well furnished, convenient for the ski slopes, a little less to reach the town, which is distant and you need a car. On the other hand, the surrounding landscape is breathtaking.

A truly fascinating and evocative place. It was the residence of Baron Luigi Beck-Peccoz in the late nineteenth century. Queen Margherita of Savoy has long frequented this house also for excursions on Monte Rosa. The baron's admiration for the sovereign was so great that he gave him the villa for long vacation periods. King Umberto, on the other hand, stayed in the castle of Sarre to pursue his hunting...

Nice and kind staff. Cleaning status was really good. Breakfast was more than enough which is beautiful. highly recommended. Also, location is closed to the lift which is 1min on foot.

Very clean and very quiet room, appreciated the blackout curtain on the windows, super comfortable mattress. The breakfast served at the bar below is rich and good, with a fairly wide choice. We are used to much less x which if you do not have any "needs" or "exaggerated" demands I would say that it is the right place ... a few kilometers away are the staffal ski lifts with which to reach the gabiet...
