Hotel Schwarzschmied in Lana

Excellent hotel, excellent service and food! I really liked the hotel design, food options were great (for all meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner) Did two spa treatments - really liked it too!

Fantastic hospitality, great food and service, really beautiful sauna and pool, tastefully decorated interior - just perfect!

Excellent and varied yoga classes, a quiet hotel and a very idyllic location, also very popular with golfers, friendly staff, and excellent regional cuisine. Absolutely fantastic! :)

Overall the hotel is very comfortable. it should be a calm and peaceful place. But what I don't understand is that such a peaceful place should normally be away from children. However this hotel has too many kids and families, even newborn babies. So I don't really know why it is described as a hotel for relaxation. meditation and yoga. it feels a bit different from the concept the hotel is trying to present.

A Crown Jewel within the Marriott network. Hotel Schwarzschmied has a calming and relaxing atmosphere from first entry. The lush green valley setting within near the Dolomites is stunning. Attention from staff were amazing. The restaurant and Bar offerings, as well as the quality, were 5-star and quite reasonable for a luxury hotel. Location to walk to the village for shops and restaurants was ideal. The room configurations with sitting areas and multiple seats on the terrace allowed for full enjoyment of the weather. I look forward to returning soon.

The property, pool and sauna were really nice and clean. The hotel and restaurant staff were nice and professional. We had both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. I highly recommend a stay as the hotel as it is has not only beautiful surroundings but also the Junior suite room was sleek and comfortable.

We arrived early in the morning, My family and I from Vienna to get a quick relaxation and a rest from a stressful work week, We were welcomed with a smile on the face and all of our need have been taken care of during our stay. I specially enjoyed the walks by the nearby river and hiking to `Masi di sopra` hill. Strongly recommend to couples of families . You will get relaxed, Enjoy the Tirol Alps hospitality (On the Italian side : ) and if you are a gourmet person you will love the rich prepared meals ! I won`t mention anything else in which true hedonist enjoys

I have visited the Italian Tyrol Hotel by the recommendation from my friend. Hotel is situated between orchards and wine yards in a beautiful valley. There is indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, fitness and Yoga retreat . Brekfast Buffet Lunch and Dinner were great. If you want a bit of close to rural experience rest, fine wine and beautiful walks this is a Hotel and place for you. Lana is beautiful in the summer not like some beach but as an continental lodge and retreat !

We've spent the other half of our vacation in southtyrol at Hotel Schwarzschmied which is located close to the beautiful city of Meran. It is surrounded by vineyards and the whole setting and design of the place is just extraordinary. The moment we entered our room I fell in love. The garden suite is one of the most beautiful rooms Schwarzschmied has to offer. The most amazing detail is the large bathtub with a view over the vineyards and church. Rarely I have felt so comforted and like home when entering a hotel room. I've been so tempted to spent there every minute of my stay and just the fact that everything else was so great as well. There is a great spa with three saunas, indoor and outdoor pool and best of it: there's a yoga class everyday! Even my boyfriend tried it once and liked it. The Yoga teacher is exceptional and also gives great holistic massages which I've tried as well. Also, there are special activities everyday like guided hikes or cultural events. I can't really say that I've hiked a lot but that surely didn't keep me from enjoying the wonderful food they served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch was served in buffet form and you can choose from three courses for dinner. And guess what: one of the courses is always vegan or vegetarian. And if theres nothing on the menue which you like, you can always ask for another alternative and everybody will try their best to meet your wishes. I'm still searching for the right words but my whole stay I've just felt so very welcomed and cozy. I hope to be able to go back there some day.
