Clean and capture the essence of Tuscany

It was a wonderful stay with comfortable rooms and amazing food. I would recommend eating dinner here; it was the best food we had during entire 2 week stay in Italy. It is also well decorated and very clean. 👍🏼👍🏼

Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful villa. The location is very quiet, with a nice village within walking distance and many beautiful places nearby. The owner is welcoming and very helpful. They live downstairs, but that's no problem at all. They are open to questions, and offer enough privacy. The house is very clean and the pool is great to cool off in. A place to come back again!

Stayed here a year ago. Could not recommend it highly enough. Lovely villa close to the village of Montecarlo. Good facilities with it. Nice a cool in the summer, complete with a pool. Owner is friendly. Reasonably priced. The only downside is the wifi is not great so maybe rely on your own data. Great to have a nice relaxing stay over.

I recently found the name of this hotel in one of my scrapbooks from when I traveled with People to People Ambassador Programs when I was a young teenager in 2009. I have fond memories of this hotel. I also had one of my the most significant ghost experiences here. I'm smiling back on the memories and would love to return one day to see if it's like I remember it.

Quiet place nice, helpful and discreet hosts. Excellent cleaning and even services. Great location to visit the park of Pinocchio Garden Garzoni and the Butterfly House. Between Pisa and Florence it is only a little over half an hour from each one. I would recommend it again!

Villa Colle Olivi is situated on a hill in Pescia where it is very relaxing to spend your vacation. The location is great to visit several Italian landmarks and cities like Pisa, Lucca, Florence and even Siena with the nearby villages of San Gimignano. Giampaolo speaks English fluently and has a lot of tips on what to do, where to eat… he and his wife Paula also make very nice Cappucino’s. Perfect...

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to feel like home in Tuscany. Great view and a good place to start trips to Florence, Lucca and Pistoia. A lot of atmosphere and good places to eat around the place. We enjoyed our stay.

I've been in the pool at Villa Vezzani. The location is enviable, but the structure needs attention. The insects in the pool just no, they are unacceptable. As well as the umbrellas with damaged slats. Given the fairly high cost of admission, even if it includes a drink, a little more effort would be appreciable and appreciated.

The structure is very nice and the person who takes care of the reception very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, however, the double bed was unusable because one side had two or three slats released, in the bathroom, which has no window, the extractor did not work and there was no mini fridge in the room to keep something cool and in summer and with a small child is quite indispensable.

I was at Palazzo Mazzini and I was very well received by the young lady. I am from Tuscany but unfortunately I do not live in Pescia. Historic building renovated preserving the poetry of the past, the colors of the frescoes, the views of the hills and the town square. I hope to return soon I am an artist in a place so I could live there. 10 stars.

Spacious room (even too much), in a beautiful period building overlooking the main square of Pescia. Murals on the walls of the room. Clean bathroom. Clean room and bed. Antique furnishings. The only discordant note: lingering smell of smoke in the room.

Beautiful place!!! For those who want to disconnect and stay in nature and simplicity. There are 6 very nice donkeys greedy for dry bread! The view is fantastic both during the day you see the whole Tuscan valley, and at night full of lights in the distance that look like a nativity scene! We stayed at la Marginella from Monday 13th - Friday 17th of June. We really enjoyed it! The location is beautiful and the host, Giovanni will make sure you feel like you are at home 😊. It is very nice place to stay and to wake up in the mountains with the pretty view is amazing. La Marginella is a nice place to stay and very clean.

We spent 2 lovely weeks there in October. Due to its location, this is a perfect oasis of calm surrounded by olive trees. You need a car as it's on top of the mountain, but you have a gorgeous view. The whole area is lovingly cared for and cared for by Giovanni. We look forward to the next time.

La Marginella has an owner who you can easily call a host. His greatest reward is seeing his guests having a good time. He is in the weather for that every day. The apartments are furnished with care, the garden around the beautiful swimming pool is well maintained and he surprises his guests with the vegetables and fruits of the land. We were guests for 2 nights and had a great time. Carlo, the owner, is very hospitable and helpful and attentive to our needs. He also gave us great suggestions for a typical dinner. The property has a swimming pool with heated water that deserves to be tried. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed. This summer we stayed at Fat. Pietrabuona for the third time and it is still a fabulous place if you fancy quiteness, great views and simple life.

Fabulous views but very isolated. Accommodation was very good but our kitchen was very basic, however the setting was fab. Swimming pool was also fab but a long steep trek, so after one visit we ended up driving. That’s the theme here, you have a lot of steep narrow tracks and you have to have a car. Home produced olive oil was not worth bothering with, clear underwhelming and tasteless. Great hosts...
