Clean and capture the essence of Tuscany

It was a wonderful stay with comfortable rooms and amazing food. I would recommend eating dinner here; it was the best food we had during entire 2 week stay in Italy. It is also well decorated and very clean. 👍🏼👍🏼

Her B &B had the ideal location in the cozy little Medievil town of Montecarlo, known for its smaller Tuscan wine producers, fortress, 17th century theatre, and 800 year old oak tree...the wood from which was made the magical nose of Pinocchio...so it is said😎. The host here is so nice. I wanted to visit my friend’s family, and since they had an extra bed in their apartment, I was allowed to sleep there. I even got breakfast the next morning. The host was always smiling and had fun with my friend’s son. I can strongly recommend this place!

Best place in the neighbourhood to my opinion. Difficult to find another place like this for tasting the real local cuisine.. which by the way tastes wonderful especially if it goes together with good wines. If you are unsure what to pick in the menu, the Cioncia or the Porcini mushrooms based specialties when is the right season would be probably my first recommendations..

Fantastic experience! Enchanting place, quiet location surrounded by nature. A large, well-kept pool with salt water. To keep company there are a few puppies and animals that will make your children smile and go crazy. The staff is really helpful and friendly, it almost feels like family! Very quiet place immersed in the green hills. Recommended for holidays or relaxing weekends. Another plus is the swimming pool! Nice and clean room, maybe just a little small for four people but with everything you need! Very kind owner. If I have the chance I will definitely go back.

We stayed at this hotel for a short break. Spacious room with a large terrace equipped with an umbrella, table and two comfortable chairs for sunbathing. Nice enough place but very dated. Pool is superb but doesnt open until 9 ! so no early morning swim before work for me. Closes again at 7 so only just got in after work. Restaurant appears expensive. Overall not bad but needs an overhaul

The house and yard were beautiful, the host was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom and the room were very clean and we had could come and go as we like. We were a little late for check-in since we got stuck in a parking lot due to a broken gate, and the host was very understanding and the communication with him was excellent.

Clean hotel with nice staff. The area is somewhat isolated but easily accessible by car. The rooms and facility are well furnished and clean. This is a 3 star hotel which deserves its three stars. Suitable when traveling with a large group as there are many rooms and large spaces.

The structure is very nice and the person who takes care of the reception very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, however, the double bed was unusable because one side had two or three slats released, in the bathroom, which has no window, the extractor did not work and there was no mini fridge in the room to keep something cool and in summer and with a small child is quite indispensable.

I was at Palazzo Mazzini and I was very well received by the young lady. I am from Tuscany but unfortunately I do not live in Pescia. Historic building renovated preserving the poetry of the past, the colors of the frescoes, the views of the hills and the town square. I hope to return soon I am an artist in a place so I could live there. 10 stars.

Spacious room (even too much), in a beautiful period building overlooking the main square of Pescia. Murals on the walls of the room. Clean bathroom. Clean room and bed. Antique furnishings. The only discordant note: lingering smell of smoke in the room.

Would highly recommend... I have stayed in many hotels in italy due to work and can honestly say for the money this is a good choice... The staff have been more then helpful to me and the dinner tonight was excellent... Let me remind some of the english comments on here... We stayed at la Marginella from Monday 13th - Friday 17th of June. We really enjoyed it! The location is beautiful and the host, Giovanni will make sure you feel like you are at home 😊. It is very nice place to stay and to wake up in the mountains with the pretty view is amazing. La Marginella is a nice place to stay and very clean.

We spent 2 lovely weeks there in October. Due to its location, this is a perfect oasis of calm surrounded by olive trees. You need a car as it's on top of the mountain, but you have a gorgeous view. The whole area is lovingly cared for and cared for by Giovanni. We look forward to the next time.

La Marginella has an owner who you can easily call a host. His greatest reward is seeing his guests having a good time. He is in the weather for that every day. The apartments are furnished with care, the garden around the beautiful swimming pool is well maintained and he surprises his guests with the vegetables and fruits of the land. Excellent position as regards the route of the Via Francigena (the Lucca-Altopascio leg is lengthened by a few kilometers, to reach the landlord, but the one of the following day is shortened). As soon as we arrived, the owner gave us a bottle of fresh water each. Available to give information on the spot. As for dinner, the location of the structure is at least 1km from the first authorized center...

The apartment was lovely. Obviously cared for a lot, comfortable, clean with a great view over the valley. The pool is impeccably clean too. The owner is lovely. She looked after us the entire time we were there. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

We spent five nights in the holiday home "Il Fienile" and are completely satisfied. Tessa is an extremely friendly and helpful host with whom communication worked flawlessly. The area is quiet and idyllic and supermarkets, etc. are still easy to reach by car. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Overall, a stay here is highly recommended!

This very beautiful Bed and Breakfast is an old rustical house in the middle the olive trees on the hill with a great view.
