Average hotel in a nice spot. Breakfast was very nice with good coffee, wide range of choices and a few tables outside to enjoy the morning.

The Hotel has in my opinion the best spot in Maccagno. Only a 2min walk to either a bus stop taking you to Luino or to a ferry stop from where you can visit almost every city at Lago Maggiore. For a low budget including breakfast, I can definitely reccommend a stay at Hotel Torre Imperiale. The rooms are clean and the Service is really kind. It’s an amazing place where every single request is met with attention,love and comprehension. I have celiac disease and the breakfast and attention that I received couldn’t have been any better! The service at this hotel was impeccable, the staffs are really kind. Located in a beautiful spot, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The Italian cuisine was very good, and the hotel's differential is also the transfer to Luino included in the daily rate. Highly recommended.

Room is very clean and has recently been modernized. I have a single room and the only downside is that my (private) bathroom is in the hall, meaning you have to leave the room when using the bathroom.

Couldn't be any better! I was upgraded which I did not even ask for! The room was perfectly clean and had all commodities one could wish for. Fantastic lake view. Wonderful staff. All in all a pleasure. Did not like paying 45 Euro cleaning fee AND they require you to take out your trash and wash dishes! No linen or towel changes and only 1 roll of toilet paper!

Golfo Gabella was a wonderful pleasure. The Resort is all in all perfect - we had a nice and clean room with a fantastic view. The location was perfect! Your staff were very helpful and friendly. Was great that the front desk staff could communicate to us in English as we did not know any Italian. They were able to arrange transportation for us and also connect us with family living in Cannobio. All in all a terrific experience!

Ive eaten all over this region for decades and this is a particularly good example of the wonderful local cuisine beautifully reinterpreted in a gastronomic yet unpretentious style. It doesn't get much better than this and prices are very reasonable. Its also a hotel that seems very nice.

The Antica Stallera was a good choice considering it being a three-star hotel. The runner up was the Hotel Cannobio, but its price did not convince us. Antica Stallera gives you a guaranteed spot for your car and it has all the charm and convenience a hotel in such a touristy place should have. It was a nice small hotel which is rather new. The room was moderne, clean and a great balcony. The bed was comfortable, bathroom with a big shower was perfect. Breakfast was good and served in the garden. location is only a few hundred meters from the boulevard and lakeside. The beach is at walking distance. Cannobio is a great place to spend a vacation.

It's an expensive B&B, not a hotel .. and over-priced for what you get. Very clean rooms, but plain with zero atmosphere, and ours had almost no natural light. Near the promenade, what is very nice. But the road in front is very noisy in the night and the bathroom is too small. No breakfast possible. But for one night it's good enough.

Views from the apartment were beautiful, one could enjoy them both from the inside and outside thanks to a big window and a terrace. Free bike rental was handy since the apartment is not right in the city centre, but even without a bike, everything is quite close. Accommodation in a beautiful location on the edge of the forest with a garden and bread roll service. Very warm hosts who are always there for you. The accommodation is a bit remote from the center. You can walk to the old town in about 15 minutes. Since the accommodation is nice on the edge of the forest, you have very cool rooms and a nice retreat.

Beautifully located facility, which is off the beaten track, but still within walking distance of the city center in about 15-20 minutes. From the balcony we had a great view of the mountains and lake.

We stayed there for two weeks with our dog and it was very nice. The view from the balcony is fantastic. The garden connects directly to a hiking trail in the forest. Therefore also well suited for a holiday with a dog. The bread service was great. If you stay longer, you should bring tea towels. These will not be changed

Beautiful apartment, clean, with breathtaking view of the lake and town. Bikes are available at no charge, great to get to the beach, shopping (otherwise about 10min walking distance). Hotel staff was very friendly. Complementary breakfast was typical for budget European hotels. Parking is minimal. Overall property was ok. Room had minor items in disrepair...peeling wallpaper, balcony door handle broken, shower doors leaked water on floor. None of these concerns would prevent me from staying a few nights; however, I would probably find another hotel for a longer stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel with marvelous views! It’s very quiet and private, remote from the noisy touristic areas. You can easily reach by car in 20-40 min other places to visit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast, but dinner in the restaurant however I would not recommend. It is better to go outsides. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely will come back!

We spent a few days nearby on Lake Como and decided to visit Lake Maggiore, as well, and chose to stay at the Park Italia Hotel. What a pleasant stay! Holidays during COVID is somewhat special. We were not sure how things would turn out. But on arrival we noticed our apartment was very clean and that Claudia, our host, took care of everything so we immediately felt safe. We recently stayed at Helianthus residence for 2 nights. The whole stay was first class from the accommodation to the welcome we received by the lovely Claudia. The apartment was spotless and Claudia was easily available for any enquiries we had. We would love to come back for longer next time!

Located in a lovely small village with nice and affordable yet still good restaurants. Just don't expect party life. Quiet and very clean bed and breakfast. The beds are big and comfortable. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating and can also speak German well. You can easily get glasses from the kitchen and sit comfortably in the front yard. The only disadvantage: payment only possible in cash (but the next EC machine is not far away).

Our 4 day stay at Casa Mulino was very pleasant, we can recommend the place warmly. The hostess Giovanna is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Paolo is a super friendly and helpful host and tries to make the best out of your stay. His rooms are all furnished with love and have a wonderful view over the lake. There is also the option of a private parking lot in a car park. We have been there several times and are going to stay there again if we are in this area.

Actually I would like to rate 5 star. However, the wifi is so terrible in some rooms and makes it impossible to connect to any streaming service!
