The Hotel has in my opinion the best spot in Maccagno. Only a 2min walk to either a bus stop taking you to Luino or to a ferry stop from where you can visit almost every city at Lago Maggiore. It’s an amazing place where every single request is met with attention,love and comprehension. I have celiac disease and the breakfast and attention that I received couldn’t have been any better! Six adults (3 husband/wife couples: 4 Germans, 1 German ex-pat, 1 American) stayed here two days & 1 night in June 1999 on our way to Schweiz from Antibes. Fantastic lake view. Wonderful staff. All in all a pleasure. Did not like paying 45 Euro cleaning fee AND they require you to take out your trash and wash dishes! No linen or towel changes and only 1 roll of toilet paper!

Golfo Gabella was a wonderful pleasure. The Resort is all in all perfect - we had a nice and clean room with a fantastic view. The service at the reception was exemplary, for every problem and issue of us there was a great solution. Both of the girls at the reception were helpful, competently and so kind. The service at this hotel was impeccable, the staffs are really kind. Located in a beautiful spot, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The Italian cuisine was very good, and the hotel's differential is also the transfer to Luino included in the daily rate. Highly recommended.

Room is very clean and has recently been modernized. I have a single room and the only downside is that my (private) bathroom is in the hall, meaning you have to leave the room when using the bathroom.

Couldn't be any better! I was upgraded which I did not even ask for! The room was perfectly clean and had all commodities one could wish for. TV, hot water for tea and coffee, fridge, safe, power stores, air conditioner for cold and warm, smoke detector.... and it was very tastefully decorated with small view on the lake. Beautiful views, nicely equipped, clean apartment, quiet location, wonderful balcony and garden, heating working well. The heating in the bathroom is amazing.

Definitely the pizzeria on site. Unfortunately very crowded. Best location, nice staff. Too much coperto from my point of view.

They say on the website that they have a heated pool but I assume cause we got there in September they didn't heat it. Or they just don't heat it. Otherwise it would be 5*

A charming hotel in a wonderful location. And there was free parking available! Includes a full buffet breakfast. Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. However, if you have any allergies or are scent sensitive, make sure when you make a reservation that they do not put scents in the room. We had a great meal at the restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and the very friendly service.

This hotel was a wonderful stop while we were driving from Zurich to Milan. Very comfortably and tastefully furnished, modernly decorated house with very attentive staff. Already the second time here in a matter of months, because it was simply gorgeous holidays. Only the electric car charger was broken the first time we came and the second time now, the room maid wasn’t very attentively cleaned. But overall it was close to perfect!

This is my favorite place in Cannero. We tried various dishes and they were all successful. In the end, one dish was our top favorite; luigine with truffle. In addition, the atmosphere at this place is unbeatable. It is located on a quiet boulevard, overlooking the lake. No mass tourism here; only quietly moving people who want to enjoy the peace and beauty.

Holidays during COVID is somewhat special. We were not sure how things would turn out. But on arrival we noticed our apartment was very clean and that Claudia, our host, took care of everything so we immediately felt safe. Helianthus Residence is well maintained and has nice apartments, the village is beautiful and the lake magnificent. We were lucky that Claudia acted as our own 'tourist office'....

We recently stayed at Helianthus residence for 2 nights. The whole stay was first class from the accommodation to the welcome we received by the lovely Claudia. The apartment was spotless and Claudia was easily available for any enquiries we had. We would love to come back for longer next time!

Great, friendly hosts giving lots of tips including local Highlights you might otherwise miss. VERY clean, flat in very good condition. Located in a lovely small village with nice and affordable yet still good restaurants. Just don't expect party life. No sand beach, in return plenty of space avaiable (in september) and reachable by foot. I can recommend this to anyone looking foran appartment

Great accommodation, definitely recommended. Very friendly owner who also speaks German. The whole guest house including the garden are very pretty. It is highly recommended to book the parking space as well, since parking between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. is actually subject to a fee throughout the town and finding a parking space is like a gamble. Quiet and very clean bed and breakfast. The beds are big and comfortable. The hostess is very friendly and accommodating and can also speak German well. You can easily get glasses from the kitchen and sit comfortably in the front yard. The only disadvantage: payment only possible in cash (but the next EC machine is not far away).

central - cozy - delicious! Great location in a beautiful place, which has the advantage that the main road leads past it and not in the middle! Room with a view of the lake had, everything was clean and the (shared) bathroom tiptop (sharing only with a single room)! Our 4 day stay at Casa Mulino was very pleasant, we can recommend the place warmly. The hostess Giovanna is a lovely lady who goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are simple, but very clean and cool with the high ceilings of the old Italian house and the cross-current of the large windows and French doors to balcony. Paolo is a super friendly and helpful host and tries to make the best out of your stay. His rooms are all furnished with love and have a wonderful view over the lake. There is also the option of a private parking lot in a car park. We have been there several times and are going to stay there again if we are in this area.

Very nice restored building. The view is awesome. Cannero Riviera is a central spot on the lake. Everything you need is in walking distance (beach, boat, restaurant...) . Just about 10 min by car from Cannobio. The host Paolo is a nice guy and very helpful in the daily planning of your vacation. Top👍🏻😁

Actually I would like to rate 5 star. However, the wifi is so terrible in some rooms and makes it impossible to connect to any streaming service!

This property ticks all the boxes if your ideal summer holiday is chilling out, reading a book and lake swimming. We swam in the lake every day. It was lovely and clear. We felt safe from the lake traffic because the area was protected by a ring of buoys used by other properties to moor their boats. I have never before been made to feel so welcomed on arrival at a hotel. The owners and staff were exceptionally lovely. The view and property is gorgeous, they have multiple terraces so you can sit with a drink or sunbathe. Its a very beautiful place. Nothing was too much trouble. We came back most nights for dessert, the tiramisu and profiteroles were wonderful.

The location is great. Overlooking the lake. 5 min walk down the steps to the firs small beach and maybe 10 min to the main beach. Breakfast was good and so was the service. The room is simple, with no frills. But the view from the window is simply amazing. Delicious breakfast, parking available. The air conditioner didn't work, but they fixed it the next day.

Great restaurant with perfect location. Very good Italian food and pizza. The menu is smaller in summer, but the location, right beside the harbour, is amazing. (the waiter have to cross the street to serve food). Highly recommendable. Especially in summer a reservation is mandatory.
