Hotel Larchenhof

We spent a pleasant week in a very welcoming and well-organized structure to guarantee every comfort. The staff is friendly and certainly ready to satisfy requests, as well as to receive immediate feedback on their daily commitment to guaranteeing excellent service. It's just a shame to be in Italy and sometimes have communication difficulties! Even any misunderstandings become more difficult to understand if the Italian language is used less. But this is just a consideration and a personal experience! In other words, it's a little sad to feel almost like a foreigner in reverse! For the rest, it is certainly worth traveling almost 1000 km - as in our case - to enjoy splendid views, clean air and good food! I would like to thank and greet Mrs. Regina who every day dedicated some of her precious time to us, also advising us on places to visit or easier travel routes! What makes this hotel so special are the people with their unobtrusive warmth. They made it very easy for us to feel comfortable straight away.
There are also guided hikes and hiking tips, as well as great and varied food in a beautiful atmosphere. Wellness area, terraces, rooms, everything was great. Not to forget the fair drinks prices!! It was a great pleasure for us.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location on the mountain. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you could want for a vacation. The food selection is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

When we arrived we received a very friendly welcome and after moving into our room we received our first recommendations. The hotel is furnished with attention to detail. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Breakfast and evening menu were very tasty. In the afternoon you can strengthen yourself with coffee and cake. The Kaiserschmarrn with various sauces from Renate was a dream. Helene, Katharina and Gert hike with their guests. A very relaxing holiday with visits to the local festivals (bacon festival, bread and strudel festival, apple festival)

Very well kept garden. Too bad the room had no bidet and no fridge. Staff always friendly and polite.
As with almost all the hotels I have visited, the cost of water is excessive (3.90 per litre... not a bottle... but from the source). For the rest, the cuisine is very refined.

Real nice

Recently renovated hotel in an excellent panoramic position to reach trails and cable cars. The room we chose was very spacious with a beautiful reading / relaxation corner overlooking the woods. The breakfast is always abundant and the dinner service has always been very attentive and the gourmet restaurant always offers typical dishes, or vegetarian or fish of excellent quality (congratulations to the chef). The structure has both in front and on the back of the sofas / relaxation areas for its guests, which can be used for the daily snack.
In addition, the small indoor pool with Jacuzzi is ideal to use together with the spa area, for returning from excursions as a moment of relaxation. Please note that the pool is also open to children who, being such, want to play, but do not always have parents capable of verifying that the silence of the spa is enforced. The hotel has no staff on site to verify a spa's rules of silence. It is possible to carry out beauty treatments and massages.
The hotel also offers guided tours in summer; as they are mainly users of the German language it is possible that the guide interacts more with the German guests, as happened with us.
In case, the hotel also offers the material and information to be able to make excursions independently according to your level of preparation.

I stayed at this hotel recently, in mid-March, with my family. The structure is very nice, the rooms spacious and well-kept, the cuisine is excellent (a real strength), the spa is small but delicious. The staff are courteous and attentive. I advise.
