Hotel Larchenhof

Hotel with high-end service, especially, in my opinion, regarding services. A few details to improve regarding the rooms but nothing too significant. Panoramic, quiet location, well accessible and with very convenient connections to the nearby Rio Pusteria (cable car in the center of Maranza reachable via a walk through the greenery if you don't want to use the car) and to the cable car that takes you to the Gitschberg. We spent a pleasant week in a very welcoming and well-organized structure to guarantee every comfort. The staff is friendly and certainly ready to satisfy requests, as well as to receive immediate feedback on their daily commitment to guaranteeing excellent service. It's just a shame to be in Italy and sometimes have communication difficulties! Even any misunderstandings become more difficult to understand if the Italian language is used less. But this is just a consideration and a personal experience! In other words, it's a little sad to feel almost like a foreigner in reverse! For the rest, it is certainly worth traveling almost 1000 km - as in our case - to enjoy splendid views, clean air and good food! I would like to thank and greet Mrs. Regina who every day dedicated some of her precious time to us, also advising us on places to visit or easier travel routes! What makes this hotel so special are the people with their unobtrusive warmth. They made it very easy for us to feel comfortable straight away.
There are also guided hikes and hiking tips, as well as great and varied food in a beautiful atmosphere. Wellness area, terraces, rooms, everything was great. Not to forget the fair drinks prices!! It was a great pleasure for us.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location on the mountain. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you could want for a vacation. The food selection is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

When we arrived we received a very friendly welcome and after moving into our room we received our first recommendations. The hotel is furnished with attention to detail. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. Breakfast and evening menu were very tasty. In the afternoon you can strengthen yourself with coffee and cake. The Kaiserschmarrn with various sauces from Renate was a dream. Helene, Katharina and Gert hike with their guests. A very relaxing holiday with visits to the local festivals (bacon festival, bread and strudel festival, apple festival)

Very well kept garden. Too bad the room had no bidet and no fridge. Staff always friendly and polite.
As with almost all the hotels I have visited, the cost of water is excessive (3.90 per litre... not a bottle... but from the source). For the rest, the cuisine is very refined.
