Definitely not 4 stars, more like 2/3. Very dated rooms and bathrooms (see photos), dirty windows. BUT - great location, fantastic staff and amazing food! Good swimming pool, too. Very good entertainment for the kids - mini club during the day, mini disco in the evening. Very late dinner (for us, anyway) - starts at 7:15 pm. Overall recommended for a cheap stay!

It was actually a lot better than it looks and I had a great time here on a school trip, the views and food are amazing (sunset pictured) and the staff are really friendly, i can definitely recommend

Ski Lift straight from the hotel. It was fun to spent a time there.

Very nice location on the slope, directly by the lift. Very bad orienation in big and large hotel complex. No info where is the reception.... Very bad wifi only in hall. No wifi in the room. Not very good equipment in the room. Bad beds and some equipment not working. Dinner OK but breakfast not very good with missing drinks etc. Correct and maximum is *** not ****.

Hotel is nice but not very modern. Animators are really kind but kids have to know italian. Everything is on italian and they are rude to people who don’t speak italian. Food is delicious but breakfast is always same. There is disco for children and one day there is film. Room are very small. Water isn’t good and I’m not sure if it’s for drink. They don’t know english and it’s really hard to communicate...

Price was good, the room was nice and clean. There is a very winding road up to the resort so plan accordingly. Very dated looking. It was very noisy due too various events going on, late into the night. Parking was horrendous! Kept bottoming out getting in and out of the parking garage. I own an apartment .....been here since the 70's

Some of the rooms were renovated a bit, like new kitchen area and bathroom. My room was renovated, but the still make you to sleep in a “wardrobe”. So there are actually no separate rooms for kids and for adults. However, I find it pretty OK considering that it’s just next to the ski slope and lift. And the area is wonderful for families. Section A, just next to Chalet.

Nice ski area with crowded cable-cars. Once when you are on the slopes far away from start stations, skiing is famous

Beautiful trails and very well kept. The lifts run very fast even on the busiest of days. The staff are very helpful if you're lost, looking for something, or just generally need some help. There is a market with so many options if the bars are a bit too expensive for your tastes.

Good location for skying. Big resort with place for kids and groups. Very good food and very good team. Only reason for not giving 4 stars is that the building is an old styled concrete nightmare , surely built by an architect with severe mental troubles. But at the end it is confortable and competitive so our week here was very succesful and most relaxing.

Nice place but without car is hard to get there on foot. If you don't need luxury hotel is fine, but not really well originsed. 3 buildings, if you're going with big suitcase and your room is in the highest building you can go outside of hotel and climb or using 3 lifts and 2 stairs.

This hotel is quite old, haven't seen renovation yet. There was no wifi. Anyway if your goal is skiing then it has almost everything to make your stay comfortable. Apartments are warm and clean. They are provided with Comfortable beds, shower, bath, kitchen with all dishes. Skiing track is just outside the door. There is few disadvantages: no skiing shoes dryer, if you want to get to the nearest city...

A ski in ski out resort with full board accomodation. Decent ski centre with cooperative staff. Food was very good with ample choice, good wine and tasty pasta dishes. Ski instructors simply excellent, jovial and helpful. Non italian speaking guest might feel cut off however staff is helpful and most speak English. Spacious apartment with a large kitchen and a wonderful view of the mountains - absolutely fine for 6 people ... Parking directly below it on the ground floor .. just a clear height of 2.5m max. So the SUV with a roof box so. But there is plenty of space outside ... On the ski slope about 150m - great 😉 At the same distance the market and restaurants 👍

Apartment in residence with various possibilities. In my case, a six-person apartment. Living room and kitchen combined, therefore with plenty of space in the living area. Used successfully in the rainy days we had to put up with. Spacious double room with desk and large window overlooking the valley. This hotel is excellent because it is near to a ski-gondel; very clean rooms; the staff is super friendly and professional; unbeatable value for your buck; tons of food each day; a very friendly Italian family run for a few generations; just a small walk away to Mezzana village which has so much character; there is lot more to sing songs about .....of course it could be better after some cosmetic renovation...

Hotel molto carino con una bellissima atmosfera. Ottima accoglienza, personale gentile e competente. La struttura ha anche una piccola spa dove rilassarsi a fine giornata. La distanza dagli impianti è circa 200 metri, con una piccola salita da fare, quindi consiglio di noleggiare un armadietto per lasciare gli sci nel negozio di noleggio che si trova dove sono gli impianti Marilleva 900.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato speciale.. La struttura molto curata in ogni suo angolo e in ogni gestione. Pulitissimo e accogliente, non ci è mancato proprio nulla, dal pulito alla cordialità dei proprietari al cibo. You have to climb up around 300 m from gondolas after skiing. After whole day of skiing this is much.

We've had an amazing staying in this hotel. From the outside it might not look modern but everything is renovated inside (with a lot of additional amenities like pool and saunas). Staff was very professional, caring and kind, they really made you feel like home. The food was probably the best thing, there is nothing we didn't eat or didn't like. We had the pleasure to stay for the 2nd time at the Ravelli hotel, for a one week ski holiday. We went there with high expectations, after our initial visit 3 years ago. Even if the bar was set very high, we felt even better than the 1st time and this is somewhat due to Mr Ravelli himself, who went above and beyond to make us feel like home. My daughter remembered a certain dish she had 3 years ago...

Great kitchen. Nice rooms, we had a house. Would be good to have a fence at stairs for stays with babies but anyway really good. We spent a wonderful week at your hotel and the Madonna di Campilio ski arena. The kitchen and SPA are really great. We chose a two-story Junior Suite, designed for 4 people. The room is insufficiently equipped, there are no hangers and wardrobes for clothes. The table is loaded with a coffee machine and an iron, one chair. Overall, it was not bad, but more thought should be given to the arrangement...

The hotel is wonderful! Great location, great design and rooms, great spa, and wonderful service. You feel welcomed at any point. The staff makes an effort to remember you and give you a very personal treatment. The owner is present all the time and spends time with the guests. Highly recommended.

We stated in a self-contained "lodge" with two bedrooms, living space and a kitchenette. It was very clean and modern. Furry slippers, robes, flipflops all in the rooms. Blankets too. A fake real fire in the living groom. Then a patio with a whirlpool and a sauna.

Possibly the cleanest most well maintained hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Sadly the restaurant was closed for dinner so didn’t get to sample what promised to be some lovely food, but breakfast was perfect before wandering a short walk to bus stop with free ski bus to the gondola to take us up the mountain for a few days skiing.

L'hotel è ottimo, la camera prenotata risultava conforme alle foto presenti su booking. La località è molto tranquilla, nei dintorni è presente tutto il necessario, come farmacie, supermercati, ristoranti, ecc... Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile in caso di problemi, mentre il parcheggio è molto spazioso e vicino all'ingresso dell'hotel. Località e hotel approvati, sicuramente...

Nice płace in winter to go skiing. Great, great food - both breakfasts with lots of choices and dinners with premium-like menu. There is a private skibus to the slopes and garage, so the car can be left safely for your stay.

The room was very nice and made us feel like we were inside the woods surrounding the house. Bathroom is modern but toilet paper, shower gel and a waste bin were missing. Breakfast was basic but good.

Rooms very spacious, clean. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment (dishwasher, microwave, etc.) Very nice service. A ski bus departs from the guesthouse and goes right to the ski lift. Close to the grocery store. Overall, a place worth recommending.

We have just stayed for two weeks at the Casa al Noce, recently renovated, spacious and clean apartments. Strategic position in the center of Val di Sole, the owner Tino and the collaborator Monica very kind. Thoroughly recommended, we will be back next year.

Nice new apartments in Mezzana, right on the river. Ski bus is on the doorstep, and takes five minutes to get to Marilleva 900, which was really no problem as an entry point for the whole Madonna area - except perhaps Pinzolo. Best of all is Tino, he was very hospitable, helped us out in a heartbeat when our car tire went flat, and woke up at 6am to say goodbye. Highly recommend.

Fantastic location, on the river "Noce", in the middle of "Val di Sole" you can reach easily an incredible number of attractions , mountains over 3500m peaks, in less 25 km. The owner, Sir Tino great character and Monica make feel you comfortable, like home. All appartments high quality finishing.

The breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, backers. It had offers even freshly squeezed juices. The location of the hotel is wonderful - just at the beginning of Medzana and in front of the hotel is the ski bus stop. The rooms are spacious and recently renewed. The owners are very nice. Beautiful, modern, comfortable and clean rooms, excellent food with lots of local products to try, some really nice wines to choose from, very friendly staff and the fantastic proximity of the cable car to top it all off. Great location for skiing enthusiasts, literally next door to the Daolasa gondola car. Very modern, clean and attractive in pure design terms. Great food and attentive service. The only drawback is small common areas. Apart from the restaurant, the remaining areas (in practice just the bar...) are small and not particularly attractive.

2 nights stay while travelling through Europe. Brand new hotel. Everything is immaculate. Breakfast very good, don't just accept the buffet they will prepare eggs anyway for you. The only fault I have is that the table you are given in the dining room is the table you are to use all stay. We went to sit at the window but that wasn't our table !!! Warm welcome in the Hotel. Room was big, clean and cosy. Slept very well, comfortable mattress. Rich breakfast, could have more dark bread, lots of cakes. Amazing hotel with incredible views in the middle of the ski slopes! The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. They are very child friendly. The wellness center even has a kids area. And the adult section has the best view for a sauna I've ever witnessed. An ideal place for a ski holiday with young kids, as it's right on the slopes. This lovely hotel in the Val di Sole area met almost all my expectations. The food for me is Michelin star level. How the hotel accommodates / adjusts the diner for children is never seen before to me. The inside and outside pool are just as great. I give a 5-star rating to this hotel. Just came back from a pleasant skiing trip. The facilities were clean and tidy, staff helpful. The 'play area' for children above the hotel bar, is a great space for children to unwind. Quick walk to the main ski lift up to the slopes, and they recommended a reasonable ski hire place. We were in a large group and had set menus for dinner. I was this evening to eat a pizza with my wife. And I must say I found myself very well the lady was very kind and friendly she made us feel at home and the pizzas and the starter very good I highly recommend it !!

Orso Bruno is a mountaintop lodge on Monte Vigo in the middle of the Dolomites. It’s only accessible via a cable car from Commezzadura (the ride only takes a few minutes). You leave your car overnight in the parking lot at the bottom. I've spent the week before Christmas by myself at the Rifugio Orso Bruno and I looove it! It's the perfect place where to stay if you love skiing all day long and as a plus you will have a sauna and jacuzzi overlooking the sunset!!! I will be back always

Easy going place, perfect to eat or drink something during your skiing day. The pizzas are great, simple and honest ingredients baked in a wood oven. There is also plenty of place and the service is fast. Minor points of improvements are the number of toilets and the wear and tear on the furniture.
