Hotel Acapulco

I think the only positive note is the location, a few minutes from the center and facing the sea.
For the rest certainly not up to a 4 star rating.
Upon our arrival we find a room full of hair, two inches of dust under the bed and cigarette butts on the balcony.
The bathroom is very small and the bathtub drain is almost completely clogged.

Although, after an initial comparison with friends who have stayed in different structures, this accommodation seems more than acceptable for Milano Marittima, I believe that for Italian standards this hotel is not up to par.

First, we were surprised to find ourselves placed in another adjacent property, despite having booked at the Acapulco hotel. Once we entered the room, we found the situation very dilapidated and neglected: the air conditioning was absent and there was only air conditioning (1950s US style) which, obviously, caused me to catch a cold. After taking a shower, the water seeped down to the bed, passing through the shower wall.

The reception was very rude, almost as if we were unwelcome guests, and within 24 hours they were unable to tell us if late checkout was possible.

Finally, if you are not a deep sleeper it could be a problem: they don't have the key to deactivate the elevator alarm, which was activated by some intruder, causing an alarm noise throughout the night.

First to list the positive part of the hotel, clean rooms, excellent sea view. As for the food, either you bring the vacuum packed food from home and then consume it on the spot or make an agreement with some restaurant in the area. We spread a merciful veil 🤦.
