Grand Hotel Da Vinci

This hotel should be receiving a 5. As the place is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. And the bed very comfortable. However the staff at the pool.and the beach / restaurant spoiled this experience. Despite other people poolside being given towels. We were told to wait until after 9am on more than occasion. As I swim early before the pool gets busy this was not ideal. I asked for help one day as my husband was not with me to set up a sunbed. As there were no spare beds. But there were spares standing up behind where the 2 pool staff were. They both pointed them out to me and let me carry my own bed to a spot. Whereas I saw them taking beds for others. And when I called them out on this they shrugged it off. And the beach staff were just rude. As a guest of the hotel unless you book a apackage for the beach you get no priority even though you have to pay. And when we asked for a bed was offered one next to the children's playground or nothing. Yet many beds were not being used as they were reserved in case of use. And it was more the attitude of the staff when we asked for s bed. Not the fact there was none. That was the issue. They were so rude. Not sure this is a place I would rush back to unfortunately as this put me off despite the amazing hotel and lovely bar and reception staff
