Staff is very cold, no information where to unload luggage, had to drag the baggage from the parking to the hotel…I do not understand the good reviews for the breakfast either, dry bread, not much fresh stuff, but good coffee. Location is perfect. Right across from the beach and restaurants and a 5 min walk to the train station. Rooms are ok, 3 star but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.

Perfect location right by the beach. The best healthy breakfast we had during our summer voyage around Italy. Clean simple rooms with all facilities. Will definitely recommend the hotel.

Have recently had their 50th anniversary run by the same family, and I hope for 50 more. This is a relaxing and family friendly hotel popular with Italians, germans, and others alike. It's qualities are many - well organised, good food, good prices, good atmosphere, well renovated, good location, good guests. Our family considers this another home after 30 years of visits, I hope yours will too.

A reasonably priced friendly wonderful family run hotel. A typical example - we order two coffees, but they arrive with complimentary ice cream cake ! A glass of Aperol ordered - and some bread sticks arrive, then a plate of olives, then a plate of cheese! Simple and clean rooms with air conditioning, a comfortable mattress, private bathroom, a minibar in the room would not hurt! The owners are super-welcoming and very kind, they gladly stop to say a few words about the dishes they offer or general information about the place, really very helpful. Try the sweet focaccia and the homemade breakfast offered by the hotel (I hope to try it again soon) 😍

The hosts are very kind and helpful. We loved the view from the house, the two balconies, proximity to town (took the short cut), the two bathrooms in the penthouse and fully equipped kitchen. Cinque Terre is an easy reach; train close walking distance, people are friendly everywhere you go. Also, don't miss Gelateria Simonetti in Moneglia - we highly recommended it!

Super clean and cute room👍 Double bed with Oceanview was provided as booked. We did not eat there so no comment on the food. Not to misunderstand that it was not inviting to eat there, we just decided to eat breakfast at the beach and dinner somewhere else.

Great place for a truly wonderful holiday in Italy where the Italians spend their beach holidays. Freindly family run hotel. Food is good in their restaurant. Service is excellent!

Very friendly family run Hotel in a good spot. Tasty local freshly prepared meals. Room was on the small side on the other hand extremely clean and sufficient for my week stay. Thank you to all staff especially Mariza for making me feel at home and being so friendly. I thouroughly enjoyed my stay and the daily Italian lessons, whilst showing the days photos, especially the “ papaveri”

Great location, clean, simple and nice classic Italian interior. I liked the comfortable bed and the nice wooden writing desk. We booked a room facing mountains which was much quieter and a little bit cheaper.

We had a very pleasant stay at this nice hotel. Its proximity to the beach and the town center, paired with the clean rooms, their great view and the friendliness of the owner and his nephew make this place a real gem. We will be back.

Excellent position over looking the sea, rooms were clean and bright, breakfast was really good and the staff were most helpful, we would definitely stay there again, moneglia was stunning, a ideal place to stay to visit the Cinque Terre.

A delightful small family run hotel in a delightfully small community with a spectacular location overlooking the Ligurian Sea. Breakfast was very nicely done with a marvelous view from the dining room. The staff friendly and pleasant.

We don't offer five stars often: It has to be special - and we do not want to overtourist these wonderful places. Mondial will propably not be overtouristed as it is too small - on top of a little hill, friendly staff (mostly), extremely rich breakfast, good prices. The missing star for the rooms: the rooms that don't go to the sea go to the busy railway tracks...

Hotel is nice, clean and very well located in Moneglia. Nice big pool, nice rooms. Staff at the breakfast service and cleaning was very nice. At the reception it was incredibly unfriendly and arrogant. Left a bit of a bitter taste.

Excellent Hotel! Amazing for the price. Location is perfect! 5 minute walk to the station, easy access to Cinque Terre. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Breakfast was the best free breakfast we had had on the trip! The staff were incredibly helpful, our car battery was dead and they luckily had jump cables and helped us get going again. Highly highly recommend this hotel!

Should I give 5 points? If you wouldn't hear the other guests and the trains so well, I would: It's a gorgious place with an fantastic view (choose sea view, also not to hear the trains so well), the staff is very friendly and attentive, the breakfast rich, the room cosy and neat. If possible, we will come again.

Clean but more on the basic side, nothing fancy. No elevator. The bathrooms need improvement. The breakfast is bellow expectations, (low cost products that can be found in any grocery store). Other than that it’s not bad. It’s decent.

The best thing about this place is its location.2minute walk from the train station and 3 minute walk to the beach.There is a nice bakery,a bar and a well-stocked grocery store opposite the hotel.Everything else is not great.The standard of the room is pretty low and does not reflect the price at all.The matresses are not comfortable and the whole place is shabby and in need of some love.The bathroom...

In Moneglia there is almost no free parking, so, if you don't want to pay, you have to go on foot down and up the mountain (very, very good exercise for your legs:). We enjoyed our two nights very much. Friendly and nice owner. Clean and spacious apartments. Our balcony had a fantastic view to the ocean and Moneglia. With a pool it would get five stars!
