We had 2 night's here and things just didn't really work out well for us. On arrival we followed the signs to the hotel but we still couldn't access it. There were some road works going on making entry to the marina difficult. In fairness the hotel did email 24 hours before but some screw up with mails to the the agent (expedia/hotels.com) meant I didn't see the warning. It took us 35 minutes driving...

Very clean and spacious rooms. The staff are friendly. Good quality price balance. Nicely located for taking a walk around.

In our case staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good except the super salty scrambled eggs. Our room was weary but the bed was comfy for us. It's a bit hard to approach the hotel on foot as it located in a yacht port and a bit far from the bus stop.

Finally a hotel you were able to sleep at! Most hotels I stayed at were so noisy and loud with cleaning personell slamming doors early in the morning. Here in Muggia, I could finally sleep in peace! Stayed here only for one night but my stay was really positive. Air conditioned room with cozy bed and everything you need. It is a family business and the owner was the nicest man on the planet. I left my bag at a nearby restaurant and the next day he called the restaurant, ringed the bell and called every contact he could know just to get my bag back and he did it. Defintely 5 stars!

Very good price/value ratio. Covenient parking in the front of the hotel or in in rhe own underground garage. Only few minutes drive to the city center or to beaches of Muggia or Slovenia. Close to the Skocjanska Cave.

Hotel Ristorante Sole is located on the border with Slovenia, just a few tens of meters from the border. The hotel offers perfect facilities for hotel guests, a swimming pool and a great seafood restaurant. The food here is at a very high level and can be compared to very famous restaurants. Considering the price (just over 70 euros per night) the room has very quiet air conditioning, everything you need, an en-suite bathroom, a good breakfast, room cleaning every morning, private parking. I challenge anyone to find a room at this price not only in Trieste, but in most of Italy. The owner Mr. Katia is also uniquely kind, she will find the solution to everything you need. Family room is good as 3 stars hostel located on the 1st floor, Elevator is very small for a stroller. room well organized 4 beds newly renovated and clean with french terrace 108. Heating and AC available. Available garage 15 Euro per day. The location is not the best, if you would like to walk to the city center hard because the streets going down down and in the way back need to climb so many stairs...

Not bad,i wish their bathrooms where Bigger, small shower,short washer,nice bath set. Need to work on the entrance and reception which looks like a 80s movie mixed with an art nouveau. This was a nice place! The rooms are a little small but that's expected. It was clean and nice. The front desk was always helpful. The breakfast was unexpectedly good. Great location to walk all over Trieste.

The staff were super friendly. We stayed in comfort double bed rooms which were clean and modern. There is a lift that can fit only two people with luggages at the hotel. The hotel has its own garage where you can reserve a spot at the hotel lobby. It costs 16 Euros for one day.

Was not easy to find the front desk and then the key to the room, but finally nice room, cool old ambiance, clean and fresh, nice price, just in the middle of city center and close to the sea side city walk.

We stayed here for 1 night before picking up a cruise. The hotel is a short distance from the cruise terminal so was ideal for us. The hotel, rooms and staff are all amazing, immaculate, spotlessly clean and well furnished. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in so would recommend it.

My wife and two teenagers rented two apartments on the same floor of the Piazza Grande for 10 days while we were visiting relatives. What a great find! Each apartment was small at 30sqm but contained a double bed, modern bathroom and kitchen and an aircon unit - one of those floor ones, and pretty good crockery and cutlery. We arrived at 1000-too early for check-in but they held our luggage for us. Was disappointed our room wasn’t ready until 3:02. Early check in is not always possible so I understand. Nothing was explained about our room or our breakfast, just given the key. In the room was in room breakfast order form which upon reading stated that breakfast was only coffee, juice and bread. This hotel is great, however the temperature control in the room is terrible. We could not change it from the room, we had to ask reception. How can it be freezing cold at 23deg and too hot at 24 deg. I asked for the shower not to be over the bath, we got a shower over the bath with no apology or recognition of our request,

The hotel says in has a parking. The parking is near by on foot, but when you arrive at hotel and they give you address of the parking, it is 2.4 km, around the city center. We were in search for a taxi from our cruise ship to the airport at 3am this morning. Our cruise ship could not assist us but when we arrived at your hotel Sophia assured us she could book the taxi service. I’ve had the opportunity of visiting places in the region and this hotel is the best place I’ve stayed. It’s such an immaculate experience.

Big disappointment! A rip-off!! It has the Relais Châteaux recognition but I wonder why. It is outdated, tacky, rather basic and.... charmless. Except the view on the big plazza, the room could be any 3-4 -star- hotel, anywhere in Europe. The entrance/reception is small, dark, not inviting. Would I stay here again? YES. Absolutely loved my stay here. Room was very clean, nicely decorated, good sized bathroom, safe, TV, coffee/tea, two cupboards and did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms. Superb location for us.

For 10 euros more have the Savoi Hotel. No comparison. We have been played by the name of the hotel. It has nothing of a Palace nor of a suit. The furniture and decorations are out dated. No lobby. One or two rooms per floor. The kitchen was not impeccably clean during the covid time. Breakfast was nice and generous. Personel is very friendly. No reception open after 21h.

I’m not going to nit-pick everything I saw. Overall, I got what I paid for; good A/C, clean and quiet very large suite. Staff very courteous/responsive. Great location, wonderful view from the suite. Nearby public parking garage however is a labyrinth, I got lost trying to get out! ..along with 2 Italians! Would absolutely stay there again.

Our suite needed a little attention: shower seal worn and water leaked out each time, balcony door was broken, sliding door on upstairs shower kept coming off track when trying to close, washer was broken in our unit, but they did our laundry complementary, no cutting board in the kitchen, motion detecting light in hallway...
