We had 2 night's here and things just didn't really work out well for us. On arrival we followed the signs to the hotel but we still couldn't access it. There were some road works going on making entry to the marina difficult. In fairness the hotel did email 24 hours before but some screw up with mails to the the agent (expedia/hotels.com) meant I didn't see the warning. It took us 35 minutes driving and walking around to get to check in. In order to get to the hotel car parking you need to go through multiple barriers, pressing the "call" button, waiting a while for someone to answer and open the barrier if you are lucky. On a couple of occasions the security people were quite sceptical and it took a bit of persuasion to let me in or out, sometimes they didn't answer for a good few minutes. Yes the same crazy procedure is required to exit. Security here is tight.
The hotel wasn't very busy as it's out of season but the lady on the front desk did fire up the espresso machine for me even though the bar was closed. (Thanks)
The room and bathroom were spacious but the electrical outlets were a bit hit and miss requiring a magical combination of the plug and wall switches which wasn't that obvious.
You can quite easily walk into Muggia port in around 15-20 minutes so location is OK (barriers aside)
I suspect events just conspired against us but there were just too many small irritating issues for it to be a totally relaxing stay. Prbably very different during the summer holiday season.

It's a shame that such a facility and its management because of a 100 eur reservation for 1 night, after which I found out that I have Covid, and tried to cancel the accommodation within 2 hours of booking (in a hotel that is btw empty at this time of year), they didn't want to make even a partial refund, regardless of whether there was an option with or without cancellation. Oh how quickly we forgot how many people died from Covid just a few years ago... Shame. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong, it's a matter of manners, gentlemanly way of doing business and simply the image of the hotel. I will definitely share this with everyone who ever ends up in that part of Italy. It turns out that we should have come and infected everyone we met with symptoms. I wonder how much the hotel would have cost if the staff had been sick taking a sick leave because of it.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is part of a large marina complex which also has apartments for boat owners ... many of the boats perhaps more expensive than the apartments? The hotel is clean, quiet. Staff are nice and the breakfast was excellent. It is a large hotel so don't expect a family atmosphere ... very clean but a little clinical? Room is a good size, but bathroom, specially shower a bit cramped. Has a lovely pool free to guests but a 5 Euro charge for a towel ... not sure if this is a European norm, but not something we've experienced elsewhere.

The hotel was amazing. We had the most friendly welcome. Room was sizeable and very well appointed. Breakfast very good and the pool was great. Good location within a few minutes walk of four restaurants and a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop. Takes approx 1 hr to get to centre of trieste on the bus or 30 mins on the ferry. Only small down point was the reception bar never seemed to be open

too much "traffic" in the breakfast room. one slow coffee automat causes longer waiting times

A local taxi company suggested to pick me up from here. I went to reception to wait for 45mins in the cool of a hot day. The hotel common areas are clinical, hard surfaced, and lack charm or comfort with about 8 chairs lonely in a large clinical atrium. Perhaps that lack of welcome gets inside their staff. The male receptionist called their male manager by phone and they agreed I had no business being there. You don't have a reservation and you can't sit here. I asked what kind of a hotel this place was, 'one for business people and tourists' was the reply. 'Oh, people like me then?'. 'Sorry you can't stay here', came the cold reply. Nearby Muggia is such a friendly welcoming community, I would encourage anyone visiting the area to stay there, and ignore this clinical cold unaccommodating place.

In our case staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good except the super salty scrambled eggs. Our room was weary but the bed was comfy for us. It's a bit hard to approach the hotel on foot as it located in a yacht port and a bit far from the bus stop.
