LH Albergo il Picchio

I had a great time, the staff is excellent and qualified, they were all very kind to me, always available. The place was wonderful, out of the monotony, I recommend it for those who want to try this experience in nature, the food was very good and the receptionist, always smiling and kind, welcomed us very warmly.

A wonderful place.... in its simplicity and elegance; impeccable service, exquisite cuisine and hospitality, as in any hotel... super clean premises. ... and a well-kept garden, ideal for relaxing on cool evenings...

The structure is surrounded by greenery, the rooms, although small, are comfortable and bright, the hosts are friendly and helpful. The big surprise is to find two very young chefs, passionate about their work, who cooked and cooked with great skill. The staff in the room is very efficient, patient and professional. We stayed at Picchio for the second consecutive year. Very beautiful and well-kept place, especially outside with large parks and lots of greenery. Super friendly and efficient staff in meeting all customer needs. The food was also excellent and plentiful. It just needs a good modernization especially with regards to the bathrooms and the daily cleaning of the rooms which is not exactly impeccable and, if I were the manager, I would avoid setting the breakfast table with blue paper napkins and plastic teaspoons, which are not exactly in line with a 4 stars.
For the rest, it was wonderful and I would happily go back.

We stayed in this hotel for a week. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are large and well distributed. The garden is well maintained and can be used by adults and children, and also allows you to relax after a walk. We chose half board: the breakfast is varied and tasty, and the dinners are beautifully presented, especially well cooked and delicious. The two chefs are young, but well trained and very kind, as is the dining room staff. Congratulations: this is a hotel worth recommending Rafaele and Alba

Very calm and comfortable, perfect for tourists of all ages. It is sorrounded by a beautiful garden as well, perfect to rest in the afternoon.

Very nice and cozy hotel located 10 minutes walking from Peacasseroli town center. Rooms are nice even if sometimes not that big compared to the number of people hosted. Lovely garden where to take a break from the 9 to 5 lifestyle sorrounded by Appennini mountains. Sunbathing there or just reading a good book is great.
Food is excellent and portions are good. Best ricotta ever !
In the summer there is also the possibility to reach the town center in an horsedrawn buggy. Fair prices for this lovely place. Kind and welcoming personnel.
When there, I suggest trying one of the nice strolls in the mountains run by Ecotour, the local organization promoting Abbruzzo and National Park. I have done then all !
