We have enjoyed a week of relaxation, we are back today with the nostalgia of the company that is created with other families!!!!! We stayed at Picchio for the second consecutive year. Very beautiful and well-kept place, especially outside with large parks and lots of greenery. Super friendly and efficient staff in meeting all customer needs. The food was also excellent and plentiful. It just needs a good modernization especially with regards to the bathrooms and the daily cleaning of the rooms which is not exactly impeccable...

I had a great time, the staff is excellent and qualified, they were all very kind to me, always available. The place was wonderful, out of the monotony, I recommend it for those who want to try this experience in nature, the food was very good and the receptionist, always smiling and kind, welcomed us very warmly.

A residence. So lots of space (2 bedrooms) living room with kitchen and bathroom. In a green area but very close to the historic center of Pescasseroli. The cleaning of the tableware is perfect. There were no tea towels, pots taken, etc. etc. On the other hand, HUGE fridge with REAL freezer compartment on and heating at full speed. It has a beautiful fireplace which has been well stocked with wood...

Excellent location, practically in the center of Pescasseroli, excellent breakfast and staff. The room was very small, attic at the limit of habitability on the lower side (I had to be careful not to throw my head at the ceiling or at the window), with only one wall "locker" without doors with three number hangers where you can put your clothes . The bathroom needs renovation, very dated. Sky is there...

Unfortunately only 3 stars. The very kind and helpful staff in the rooms leave much to be desired. Old furniture, uncomfortable mattresses, very shabby bathroom. There are no electrical outlets in the room. Excellent breakfast and location of the hotel. Definitely needs a renovation of the rooms, while the rest of the hotel is beautiful

The place was very calm in October although the walls between the rooms are thin so you can hear your neighbour. The restaurant was close and the breakfast was terribly basic.

Very particular and clean room, even though we were in economy. We didn't eat in the hotel so I can't say how good the food is ... but otherwise we had a really quiet weekend.

It is undergoing a (recent) takeover. Staff of good professionalism. Quite good structure (recently built or well renovated?). Good interiors, refined finishes. Access road to be finished.

Very nice restaurant inside and excellent traditional specialties for the first courses sector. Tight control of the green pass inside. We then continued the evening on the outdoor veranda with other friends but unfortunately the air was made stinky by an inveterate cigar smoker (with a newborn in tow). Highly recommended for both location and services offered and staff availability: comfortable and clean in an excellent location

The restaurant: excellent home cooking with good raw materials. A little too eighties structure, clean rooms on a human scale, the triple attic can be dramatic in living spaces. Services: swimming pool ideal in summer, meeting points for absent children in winter. Location: excellent near the ski lifts in winter and easy to take paths in summer, even close enough to the town center.

We ate very well in a well kept environment. If you are looking for a place to taste typical Abruzzo dishes, this is the place I recommend.

You can't ask for better: the owner is really kind and helpful (as well as very nice). The cozy and very clean room. Varied, good and plentiful breakfast. Genuine food. Located two minutes from the center, with parking, it allows you to leave your car and easily reach the center of Pescasseroli, away from traffic and parking problems. Value for money: EXCEPTIONAL. My stay at the B&B Le Antiche Torri has just finished. The facility is clean and comfortable. The cuisine is genuine and makes you rediscover the true flavors of Abruzzo. Three steps from the center. On foot and by bike. Small family-run hotel. Clean (but not top-notch) and welcoming room. Polite and friendly staff. Definitely to return perhaps in winter with the snow. Overall it is fine but you can do more than the fee paid to sleep with breakfast.
