Lakeside hotel in a beautiful area. A good hotel with large pool,plenty of loungers and options to kayak, water ski, paddle board. Everyone was very friendly and the food at breakfast and in the restaurant was good. The older part of the hotel could do with some modernisation but overall we had a relaxing and pleasant stay. The area is absolutely beautiful!!!

The hotel is run down though. It has a 70s/80s vibe. Shame the owners haven't considered investing in a face lift.

This was a great hotel with reasonable prices, and the staff was excellent. The only thing I would improve is the bathroom door- it’s very loud opening it and if you have to go in the night it will wake someone up!

The hotel is in a beautiful location. I was fortunate to have a room with a balcony facing Lake Orta. The water was very clear and I could see large trout swimming past. Hotel service is good and staff are helpful. I have had better food in my life, but the fare was adequate. The area close to the hotel is pretty quiet, so if you fancy a holiday off the beaten track, I strongly recommend this hotel

Only visited the restaurant, great location overlooking Lake Orto. Dogs welcome. Interesting menu with a wide range of choices without putting too much on the menu. Portions vary a lot within the course. For example pasta, one dish is perfectly sized for a 4 course menu, the other dish is a platter full and almost feels as too much. All in all a nice place to come again when in the area.

Family-run Albergo. The decor and rooms are a bit small and old, but the location on the lake is awesome. The owners very warm. Breakfast was great.

Hotel with a small number of rooms and with a sublime view of Lake Orta! 5 minutes from the town of Orta. The staff was very welcoming during my stay, advised me, in French, on places to visit, places to eat. The rooms are very clean... there is nothing to say! There is even wi-fi... I was really delighted with my stay in this region and in this hotel!

The staff is very friendly and tried hard. The cleanliness is also OK. and direct access to the lake is available. Unfortunately, you can see everywhere that things are getting on in years. A thorough renovation would help ...

Magnificent place, excellent service, very good restaurant

Pretty structure with typical mountain architecture. Our room was not very large but comfortable. Very quiet hamlet, 5 minutes from Lake Orta and close to Orta San Giulio, a village that you absolutely must visit. It would be nice to be able to have breakfast on site, as there are no bars nearby.

A beautiful, hidden restaurant with great food! The owner, Sebastiano, is very charming and does a great job as does all of his staff. Highly recommended!

Service is good, but our room was not isolated at all and people staying there were very noisy. Dont stay there if you plan on long quiet nights as you will be waken up before 10am. Also, not so handy location, you have to take the car for everything. We were lucky to always find a parking space - careful, the parking is not indicated when you arrive

Cosy, really nice hotel in the best of locations in Orta San Giulio. I spent 4 nights here woth my friends and it was a lovely, very relaxing time. The pool has amazing views, the breakfast/dinner terrace is just perfect and the staff is very nice. All was great. Thank you!

We were very pleased with our choice of this hotel in Lake Orta. As always, we booked directly with the hotel and chose a large room with a balcony overlooking the lake on the 3rd floor. I didn't stay at this hotel however I did dine at their restaurant and my husband also got a few drinks at their bar after our meal. They provide excellent service during dinner here. All of the staff are super attentive and caring. The food is also amazing. My spouse highly recommends the veal and I highly recommended the carbonarra pasta! The best part of all...the view! It is so worth the price...

Location is good. Aircond is not working well . The bathtub shower hardware is too old , not perfoming well and can NOT switch between shower and tap . Bathroom to small for bathtub ...nowdays when you dont have enough space better get rid of bathtub.

Beautiful stay on Lake Orta. Rooms with balcony overlooking the pool and lake. Lovely walk from hotel to town square along alleyway. Recommend swim in the lake and lunch on the terrace. Hotel organised free return transfer to train station. Awesome buffet breakfast.

Great spot for a hotel, probably the best for Lake Orta. Impeccable service, good room (after upgrade since the initial one was terrible). A few glitches: we never learnt to use the electrical switches in the room- too complicated. Only if you are in a junior suite you get a wardrobe and a kettle - standard rooms are a disaster.

It's located on the waterfront of Lago D'Orta, and Isola San Guilio in an eye shot distance. Nice vista on the lake. The property is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. I fee like this area better than Lake Como in which is less touristy and more quiet and better for relaxation

Stylish period room in a quiet, vehicle-free backstreet, a 2 minute walk from the main plazza/port. Fabulous shops including a wonderful breakfast cafe, The Palace, and a lovely family restaurant Ca'Mea, both a minute away on foot. A great base to unwind. Note, that this is a satellite building, with superb staff located at the Leon D'Oro Hotel in the main Plazza.

Great location, directly in the city centre but quiet. Comfortable and large rooms. Suggested for cyclists staying one or more nights in the region.

Located in the historic center, it has rather small rooms, although all in all functional. A little inconvenient to reach it because in the pedestrian area and being the cobbled streets it is difficult to tow suitcases. Very convenient for boarding the island from San Giulio.

A negative note concerns the method of contact, on the site there is the urban number of the structure which is not manned, in fact the check-in must be done at the Leon D'Oro hotel in Piazza Motta and then be accompanied here. Cute and close to the main town square - the lady at reception (in a sister hotel) was very nice and helpful. There is a nice little courtyard perfect for hanging out in a more secluded, quiet setting. Lovely little hotel in a lovely town. Reception went above and beyond to help us print out a boarding pass. Terrific view of Lake Orta from the balcony. The only things that weren’t amazing: no air conditioner (and it was 34 degrees!) and no hand soap provided.

This is a gorgeous family owned and run business. They’ve been here for 200 hundred years. The food in their restaurant is incredible and it’s right on the lake with an excellent view of Isola S. Guilio. There is also a great spa inside the hotel which is worth going to at least once during your trip.

The villa is truly a stunning property with historical design. The location of the villa is near to the lake and the property boats sprawling gardens where you can spend the afternoons with a Spritz or glass of wine. Hello, we had a great night by getting upgrade on the apartment with the view on the beach. The bad thing was communication, after 5 calls we finally got the personal at the front desk, and talked really fast to allow us letting the keys in the apartment for the check out. Perfect location at Lago d’Orta, in the heart of a cozy town of Omegna. Good place for a relaxing stay or hiking adventures. The staff was very nice and helpful. A big advantage is an excellent pizzeria downstairs.

Rooms are good for this 3star hotel, but they arent so generous, maybe like al of europe hotels. 10 ml shampoo will do u nothing. Breakfast is good though. And staff are friendly.

A view of the lake but also substantial noise from the street below. The room and bathroom were clean, very good food at a good price in the restaurant and a good continental breakfast with fresh squeeze your own oranges and a juicer with fresh carrots, fruits and ginger ready to be juiced. The hotel is also a short walk to the orthopedic hospital so handy for relatives of patients.

Except that the location is not as good as another five-star hotel, (the location is about 1 km away, but at night, when the lights of the two small islands are dim, this point is exceeded), everything else exceeds expectations.

Service is better than what i would expect from a 3-star hotel. The food in the restaurant is also very good and reasonably priced for the area. However, the AC in the room was a big let down, it barely cooled the room and shut off after a certain time in the evening, this led to very hot nights as i didn't want to open the window due to the mosquitos. Lovely hotel. Brilliant location for exploring Stresa, the islands and getting the cable car. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Food was great and they did special meals for the children each evening. Pool was never too busy and the kids loved it. Would definitely recommend this for a family friendly holiday.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. The whole of our stay was wonderful, from the fantastic breakfast, lovely pool and garden, creative and tasty evening meal courses to the staff who were incredibly kind and attentive. Our stay could not have been more perfect!

We loved it, all the bar staff and waiter s were really professional and friendly. Bit of a walk into Stresa but lovely along the lake side and convenient for the boats. Only downside is the busy road is a bit noisy.

Excelent Hotel Very clean, fresh paintwork, service exceptional. Close to the mountain cable car - well worth avisit, Lido for jumping on and off the Ferries to all parts of Lake Maggiore. Would recomend the hotel and area to anyone- especially those interested in gardens.

Right next to the pier, you can easily take a cruise around the lake. The hotel provides free parking spaces, but you can ask the front desk if you can't find them. The room is large and it is very comfortable to sunbathe on the balcony.
