The view was amazing. We were given a room with a large balcony which was nice Breakfast and dinner were both very good. Receptionist was very helpful.

Excellent service from the gentleman in charge Alberto and his family and staff. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The 3 rooms we had were lake facing and all were extremely clean and modern. The hotel was very nice, good room which was a good size and a small balcony with a view of the lake. Front reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Only negative was the breakfast was poor. Cold coffee on both morning with our first morning having to wait 20 minutes for the scrambled egg to be topped up even after asking twice when it would be done....

Hotel San Rocco is absolutely stunning . Our room overlooked Lake Orta. The local food and wine, was an experience. I’m definitely looking forward to spending more time here in the near future .

Super nice place with great potential. Pool was not working but we were compensated with boat trip and private beach. Breakfast was inside, in hot room with view. What a shame in such a marvellous place, that it was not possible to go out and eat.

We really enjoyed our two-night visit to Hotel San Rocco. We had a warm welcome from the receptionist, then our bedroom was well-equipped with a little balcony looking onto Lake Orta and the San Guilio island. We had a delicious dinner the first night and enjoyed dinner in the town piazza the second night - a ten-minute walk from the hotel.

Very good service and good quality facilities. Staff was very attentive and made us feel at home. Location is right next to a small beach on the lake Orta and a 10min drive from Orta San Giulio town centre.

Very nice people work here. Help with whatever you need. Rooms are simple, but very clean and many of them have lake view. The only problem is wi-fi in rooms. :) But works more stable on the first floor. 50 meters to the beach (paid one, but right after it there is a free one).

Absolutely a gem! Lovely family run hotel who can't do enough for you. We stayed in a group of 6 adults and 3 children. Over 3 rooms all in different areas of the hotel and all met our needs. Food - breakfast was a full continental option with fresh made coffee. Dinner we are there and we loved the food and the service. Going out their way to commidate the children. The 2 boys aged 6 and 12, plus the wife and I loved it, way beyond our expectations. For what you pay you get a tremendous place to stay with great food , amazing breakfast with top notch coffee :) and fabulous staff. The table tennis table was a bit wonky but made it far more fun. Whats not to love.

Very nice hotel.. cozy/modern.. right in the middle of it all. It has a parking lot, that is convenient, still you need to walk 1 km to get to the hotel.. the breakfast was amazing, with the local market going on that day.. perfect italian setting.

Expensive for what they offer.

Hello, we had a great night by getting upgrade on the apartment with the view on the beach. The bad thing was communication, after 5 calls we finally got the personal at the front desk, and talked really fast to allow us letting the keys in the apartment for the check out. Very nice hotel, just fifteen minutes on foot from the center of the city. The staff is very kind and there's a "welcome room" with free snacks and beverages always open. The room was very spacious and clean. A very large breakfast (English and Continental buffet) is included.

We had a wonderful stay, Lago do Orta is less known than Garda or Como but is probably the better alternative. This hotel has it all, great views an amazing pool, free parking on walking distance of a lovely village.

Beautiful alternative to Lake Como. Nice rooms. Ours had a foldout bed so could slee three.

The property is amazing, a piece of art. I have book a room on this property only because of this Villa and i had not search anything about the area around, But this was another surprise. We visited with our two dogs and our dogs was totally welcomed as well.

I have been able to live an experience that was beyond my imagination. Chef Cannavacciuolo, Cinzia Cannavacciuolo and all their beloved staff gave me a beautiful time at Villa Crespi. I went to many Relais Châteaux in Italy and this place was the best by far. The place itself is breathtaking. The staff took care of every needs I had, diner was awesome, even if I couldn’t speak a word of Italian (they even spoke some French, that was a nice touch). Would absolutly recommend! Very special hotel. The staff is incredible, very friendly, helpful on what to do, where to go, and very accommodating. The building is really beautiful, extremely well done and the surrounding yard and patio is a very special place to have breakfast and/or a drink. We will go back the next time we go to Italy.

We stayed more than 2 weeks on this campsite. We had a spectaculair view of the lake from our site. There is a tunnel under the road so you can go safely to the water. The facilities are splendid. Generous pitches which are well layed out in tiers overlooking the gorgeous lake. The facilities are basic and toilets lack loo roll and hand soap, I think this contributed to the toilets always smelling like a public city toilet. That being said we enjoyed the location and views enough to return again. Very relaxed vibe and no booking required.

We really liked the campsite, and stayed for 4 nights. The views are exceptional from up on the hillside, where the pitch is. It's also very close to Orta, a beautiful town with restaurants and cafes. The beach at the campsite is small and pretty crowded, which I'd say is the only downside to this place. If you want piece and quiet I'd recommend getting a standard pitch on the hillside and not one...

Views to Lake are beautiful. Camp is on both sides of the road. Lake pitches lovely but not enough toilets and showers and very dated. Overpriced compared to other sites of better quality in the Lakes. Shop sells great cheeses and meats.

Well organized terass campsite, right on the lake. The prices are fine, better then on the coast, we found out. We got one of the last places all the way at the top and had shade until about 11, which was great. This is a gorgeous family owned and run business. They’ve been here for 200 hundred years. The food in their restaurant is incredible and it’s right on the lake with an excellent view of Isola S. Guilio. There is also a great spa inside the hotel which is worth going to at least once during your trip.

The breakfast was as amazing as the view. It was right on the lake! couldn't have asked for better. The staff was so kind and helpful. The room was clean.

My room was cute with access to the lake terrace. I even had a bathtub and a multi jet shower. The bed for my personal taste could have been a little softer. Breakfast was simple and descent. The hotel is right by the lake and town square, great location with great breakfast and choice. Though the room is small, it comfortable and clean. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming.

Stylish period room in a quiet, vehicle-free backstreet, a 2 minute walk from the main plazza/port. Fabulous shops including a wonderful breakfast cafe, The Palace, and a lovely family restaurant Ca'Mea, both a minute away on foot. A great base to unwind. Note, that this is a satellite building, with superb staff located at the Leon D'Oro Hotel in the main Plazza.

Great location, directly in the city centre but quiet. Comfortable and large rooms. Suggested for cyclists staying one or more nights in the region.

Located in the historic center, it has rather small rooms, although all in all functional. A little inconvenient to reach it because in the pedestrian area and being the cobbled streets it is difficult to tow suitcases. Very convenient for boarding the island from San Giulio.

A negative note concerns the method of contact, on the site there is the urban number of the structure which is not manned, in fact the check-in must be done at the Leon D'Oro hotel in Piazza Motta and then be accompanied here. Cute and close to the main town square - the lady at reception (in a sister hotel) was very nice and helpful. There is a nice little courtyard perfect for hanging out in a more secluded, quiet setting. The room seemed clean, the only thing was that the bathroom drain was clogged so the shower would fill up with water and took ages to drain. Other than that nice

Lovely little hotel in a lovely town. Reception went above and beyond to help us print out a boarding pass. Terrific view of Lake Orta from the balcony. The only things that weren’t amazing: no air conditioner (and it was 34 degrees!) and no hand soap provided.

Hotel is at the map pin but register at the specified address. Breakfasts are served at the Piazza, they are impressive and there's meal for all tastes. Clean rooms and free wifi.

The staff was super kind and helpful with any questions we had. The little Spa Area is very nice after a long day of exploring. There's filtered water, coffee and tea available all day long but the absolut highlight was the breakfast! With homemade yogurt, cheese,butter and juices, so many different cakes and sweets. We had a really great stay.

I don’t know from where to start - the place-AMAZING, people - AMAZING, food - MOST DELICIOUS ever and in the same time different. We came from Bulgaria 6 adults and had a great, great, great time. Stayed in the rooms for a few days, which were lovely although we changed to upstairs as the downstairs room was immediately next to the breakfast area and are a bit loud for light sleepers. Breakfast is outstanding, the orange and almond cake one of the best I’ve ever had. Went for the tasting menu in the restaurant which was good but would recommend something else on the menu as not much of it...

We ate at the restaurant last night and were blown away by the food and service. The tasting menu is very good value at 32eur and the service is incredible. Our waitress recommended the most beautiful local wine. All food is locally sourced and they will happily give you more! VERY highly recommended.

We tried the roof-top brasserie. The view of the lake and the island is spectacular. Food was excellent and so was the service. Prices are rather on the high-end, but the quality of the food and the service are worth.

Room a bit small but okay as the main purpose was the restaurant. Amazing technical skills, clean perfect flavours combined in elegant and perfect creations from chef Andrea Monesi. Excellent wine pairing. One to remember!

We had the 5 course menu of chefs choice. The whole experience was brilliant, I couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very delicious. Bit too expensive. Some wines were too expensive, some were acceptable. Staffs were little too careless. I visited restaurant twice. Every dish was perfectly cooked as rare. Chef must be caring to cook very carefully. There were only 2 staffs, 1 was disappearing often (maybe went back earlier?). Another was focusing to serve to all tables. So there were often nobody when we needed...

Great place and fantastic food. Capesante with verza in easy bagna cauda are a must. You definely need to try them. You want to try the 7 courses chef menu with paired wines (yes, it comes with a total of 7 glasses of wine!), being sure to book a room upstairs so there's no need for driving.

B&B Al Dom is in a fantastic location and everything about the place was faultless. We can't think of anything that we'd change. The room was enormous and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great and the care and consideration from Massimo and his wife was impeccable. A fantastic stay - we can't wait to return.

Exceeding all expectations we had a wonderful few days staying at the Al Dom. Such a lovely room with stunning views. Massimo (host) gave us excellent recommendations for hiking and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious. We will be back! A great discovery in a beautiful location.

Casa di Lago was just exactly what we hoped for - and more - just a short walk from the centre of town where the most difficult thing was deciding which restaurant to eat at. We loved our small terrace where we could breakfast or occasionally lunch - and the views from all of the bedroom balconies. Excellent location, nice large room with splendid lake view. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was WiFi that worked only in the lobby close to the router.

Brilliant place to be. 1min. to private beach and you can relax infront of the lake and marvelous lanscape for the rest of the time. One complain thought: no wifi at all and mobile connection is very poor as well.
