Very comfortable for the price point. Wifi was bad though (we were in the 5th floor) and the bed spread/comforter was very thin and not comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and friendly except for Der Kirektor who seemed quite frustrated and grumpy.

Price for value is fine: It is a simple hotel, in a convenient location with polite service. The location is at a busy round about, just outside the old town, only 10 minutes on foot from the bus and train station. The city is not very busy. But ask for a room facing the river. They are more quiet and the view is better. Our room had three beds and a sizable bathroom. The breakfast is nothing special...

Ugly on the outside, but very nice on the inside. Rooms are renovated above italian standard in that price class, beds are fantastic. Never had such a great bathroom in Italy... The hotel is very welcoming. A few minutes walk close to the main train station and bus terminus. The reception was quite helpful giving us assistance when required. The hotels "crotta" (restaurant) is one of the best in the village offering a variety of traditional dishes as well as contemporary cuisine.

We ended up staying to this hotel by chance! rooms are clean with a beautiful window view. they also have a pretty good bar. breakfast is also really good. we enjoyed our night at the bar meeting friendly people, and also the staff and the owner are very nice people. Giving this overall a 5 star base on my experience. would recommend and would go back and stay here!

Giovanni is the best host I’ve meet so far. Due to circumstances I arrived to the property quite late and Giovanni was absolutely available to do a late check-in and he was very helpful with advising places to see. As well he rented me a bike and was extremely kind to pick me up in the middle of mountains when it got dark - he told that this happens quite often to the guests not familiar with the area...

I've been here before with a group of business friends. We had a great time. Reception at the highest level. Thank you, the receptionist Maria, the other person at the reception, Abby, and the head nurse, Tina. We enjoyed the views of the beautiful nature and the wonderful appearance of the complex. We booked a night spontaneously on a motorcycle trip. They let us park the bikes inside the garage which they closed for us. Food was ok, all in all we liked it here.

Only used the restaurant for a dinner for four. Some other positive notes which leave some doubts. On the positive reception, courteous and helpful even though we arrived at 21.30 with the local already empty. Have stayed in four hotels in Madesimo and this is the best so far. Family run and very friendly. Amazing food especially the breakfast. Loads of hot water and heating that we had to turn off, it was so good. Nothing is too much trouble. Great position for the ski lifts ( 75 yards to the nearest). Will definitely stay again if we can.

Our fifth visit for a skiing holiday and wouldn't go anywhere else now. Superb value and always a fantastic holiday - always welcomed back and genuinely remembered. Central location within 100m of main ski lift. Family-run (and you feel like part of the family). It was a last minute booking for 4 of us to go skiing and just staying for 1 night, the resort was quiet as it was low season in the week but there was still a buzz around the hotel. Been in there a couple of times on this trip, I think it might be our favourite bar, great food and wine at really good price. Service was excellent and the kids really enjoyed it. I can wholeheartedly recommend the goulash it was superb.

We stayed here for 4 nights in January in a twin room. The service was wonderful by the staff who clearly pride themselves on their establishment. The room itself was quite small and the entire place is quite noisy with little insulation between the rooms. The whole place is outdated and needs renovating. The wifi that is advertised as being available throughout the hotel is most certainly not available...

Gorgeous location, but definitely very difficult to drive up the twisty turny narrow road. It takes around 30 min to go up or down depending on how many cars one encounters. It's a very practical location for going hiking. There are hiking routes with variety. Of course, down the mountain there's the lake with beaches all around. Room was okay and for the cheap price we paid we can't complain. WLAN didn't work properly and an air conditioner would have been great. Our bathroom was way to small. Service was good. Communication was kinda complicated, cause most of the employees didn't understand english. All in all the hotel is fine and you can't really expect more for that little money.

We booked this place last minute and it is a GEM. The rooms are clean, the view of the lake is gorgeous (they have a sitting area with a view), all the homemade food was delicious (their homemade chamomile grappa and desserts are to die for) but the best part is the people - they are so kind, cheerful, and helpful. They gave us very clear directions for free parking down by the lake as well as suggestions...

There were two of us and we had a great time with this property. The parking lot directly at the house is a bit smaller. But higher up there are public parking spaces that you can use very well. The equipment in the house was very good for the two of us.

I have never stayed here as I live nearby but I've been there twice for dinner in the summer of 2022. Both times the food and the service was great. There is a terrace which is enclosed and heated in winter though you can't really see the lake very clearly from it. Staff are friendly and the pizzas were especially good and at around €10 good value.
